09/11/2025: Bad service. They either bring out the wrong food or forget something from the order.

27/09/2025: Stay away The food is cold on arrival because they have sent 2 orders where one is somewhere else and therefore a detour is taken, the food does not come in a warm bag and the courier cannot find the address and parks far away and has to walk a long way with the open bag, calls the place who says they do not promise a perfectly warm burger but if it was pizza I had ordered then it was something completely different because pizza stays warm much longer and is much better than burgers the place says. They then want to give a 10 percent discount on the next order and 2 milkshakes, very random to offer that since I have not had a milkshake, I feel like they are totally pissing off their customers, the place was much better before the new owner came, not a place I will use anymore.

17/09/2025: Very cozy but a bit too expensive

07/09/2025: Reluctantly visiting Axelhus once again. Not to taint the memory of this once iconic dive bar … but the atmosphere is no more. Gone are downing “sets” in a cigarette smoke filled room, locals on piano and guitar, and unspecified open sandwiches. On the positive side, the taps now feature To Øl and the menu has expanded a bit beyond the smørrebrød. The sister bar - Axelbar is even better from a beer perspective. To Øl on tap, and in the fridge, alongside Brew York. The town is going through changes. It’s inevitable.

16/06/2025: Supposed to be open until 7:30 PM, but it was closed when I was there at 5:30 PM

03/10/2025: Their coffee was nice, but the rum ball was boring. It's a nice concept, but the cafe and the service area seem boring, messy and shabby.

09/09/2025: The baked goods were fresh and well-made, and the cappuccino was delicious. Instead of eating from a paper bag and drinking from a paper cup with stirrers, the old-school option—with a plate, cup, and spoon—would have certainly been even more appealing. Moreover, the service seemed dismissive and unmotivated... what a pity, jam...

24/10/2025: Got a durum and a pita bread both with kebab. It tasted amazing and we will definitely be back

17/10/2025: Nice service and OK pizza. It's a pretty good everyday pizza - not gourmet or fancy - but a fair pizza, good service and not too long a wait. If we pass by at lunchtime again, I'll definitely go in and have a pizza again. For me, rule #1 for this kind of place is that it has to be clean - and it was. Rule #2 is "order something simple without too many different things on it" - then it's always baked and not too cheesy.

22/09/2025: When you order food from them they won't deliver unless you order for more than 160kr And when you ask why they are on Wolt they give you a lame answer that you shouldn't argue with them 0 stars from here

26/06/2025: Really bad service today. We ordered a lot of things and one of the drinks was a Strawberry Matcha. Sorry but it tasted terrible, it only tasted of milk and the glass was filled with ice cubes. After two sips the drink was already empty. Also there were no napkins so we asked for some. The staff made the most annoyed face as if it was our fault that the napkin dispenser wasn't full. When she gave us some they came from the toilet, it was literally toilet paper. We could clearly see that there should be napkins in the stock. All in all a really bad experience. We won't be back!

15/10/2025: I got a chicken gyros menu. The gyros was pretty boring. Dry chicken not a lot of flavor. Also I asked for no tomatoes which they added anyways.

18/08/2025: Boring food without much flavor. Got a gyro with lamb.

19/08/2025: Just an ordinary Kebab/pizza place… and now hold on to the most expensive prices I've ever seen - more expensive than anywhere in Copenhagen and you're only in Helsingør… it should be the other way around. BUT they have many different lunch pizzas for 69-79kr until 4pm 👍🏼

28/07/2025: Super bad service and doesn't give a good atmosphere at all, the food is okay but not worth the money

25/09/2025: Avoid. They are disrespectful to customers and there are many better pizzerias in town. Ordered food and was told that the food would be delivered within 30-45 minutes. When 50 minutes had passed I called and was told that the food wasn't even ready. "They are busy and want to make good hot food". He couldn't tell me when it would be delivered. I tried to explain that we had ordered well in advance and of course expected the food to be delivered as agreed, but I was interrupted repeatedly and the person raised his voice. Of course I ended up canceling the order.

16/09/2025: I had a pizza at La Castello and it was really good! Crispy crust, fresh ingredients and flavorful tomato sauce. One of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. Definitely recommended!

30/11/2025: We went in a little skeptical – the name San Remo Café sounds more Italian than Danish – but the posters advertising traditional food tempted us, and we took the chance. We don’t regret it! The place was completely full and there was a good, lively atmosphere. We were greeted by a friendly waiter and quickly got a table. You order at the counter, and the menu was a bit worn, but easy to understand with pictures of all the dishes. We ordered roast pork with parsley sauce and biksemad with fried egg. The food came after about 15 minutes and was rustic and nicely served. The roast pork was crispy and generous, and the parsley sauce was delicious. The biksemad tasted homemade – just as it should be – but the portion could have been a little larger. The service was warm and pleasant, as you would hope for in Denmark. We noticed that some dishes were heated in a microwave, and that’s a bit of a letdown. Nevertheless, the overall experience was so good that we’d love to come back.

24/11/2025: The worst roast pork.. ughh! It was deep fried which makes it inedible. The potatoes and sauce were no better either.

24/09/2025: The food was extremely salty. Not just salty, but incredibly salty. The papaya salad, seafood salad, fried chicken, and basil stir-fry were all salty. The papaya salad was especially inedible. The chef needs to improve the flavor a bit.

26/08/2025: I've never stayed and eaten, I've only ordered takeout. But it's our go to Thai place. It's very delicious, and they have a little bit of everything. They're always nice when you come to pick up the food.

10/08/2025: Not particularly service minded, and really bad place, far from what you see in the pictures and what they describe in terms of facilities 😠 Waste of money and staying here!!!!

21/06/2025: Beautiful when you drive up to the hotel but that's where the beauty ends. Tired rooms that are in dire need of a renovation and a good wash! A slightly adult, slightly irritated receptionist who is probably tired of guests. A good deep cleaning and upgrade is also needed in the common areas as much is dusty and worn. The windows are so full of dirt and dust that you can hardly enjoy the view. Forget WiFi, it is not available in all rooms. Ask for an extra pillow! It's like asking for royal crown jewels... Heated pool... perfect for those of you who love something between ice swimming and May Day swimming in the sea. Very nice pool though. No, I have stayed at similar castle and manor concepts that still manage to give a feeling of comfort and luxury for a better price than this. At Sauntehus Castle you won't find that. I have never given such a bad review before so I would like to end on a nice note and say that we were allowed to check out a little later - at no extra cost thanks to a nice mother and daughter duo who were working on cleaning the rooms that day.
