24/10/2024: Nothing was homemade or fresh. The rice smelled old and it was clear the hot dishes had come straight from a bucket and a trip in the microwave. Even the guacamole and salsa were lame. No lime or cilantro. Felt pretty ripped off for the money. Unfortunately, the worst batch of Mexican food I've ever had. We would have used a high chair for my daughter, but they were all very dirty and dirty. Filled with 16-19 year olds who were there to buy booze, so actually quite a good atmosphere otherwise 🙂 Good drinks in return

17/11/2024: My wife (Italian) and I found this apparently family-run restaurant by chance on November 9th, 2024. The greeting and farewell in Italian were very warm. We had both ordered Saltimbocca alla Romana, a Roman classic. The quality was okay, as was the presentation. Unfortunately, neither of us can remember the taste or texture of the sage that is part of the recipe. Maybe it's just us. The terrace and interior were fully attended and the entire staff was obviously well utilized. I don't want to review the restaurant because our visit is just a subjective snapshot.

15/11/2024: The restaurant have really friendly staff, the seating were cozy for winter and enough space to sit and eat comfortably. The quality and quantity of the food was perfect and they were kind enough to even accept to make a dish which was out of menu🫡.

16/06/2024: It tastes ok, but the quality is not super good. Artificial taste, and too expensive for the lack of quality

10/05/2024: Hands down one of the best bagels I've ever eaten. Fresh, full and really tasty. Their juices are also really delicious - and big! Also, the owners were super nice and smiling - great service!⭐️🌟

19/10/2024: The food quality at this restaurant has become really inconsistent. Some days it is fine, but lately, lacking consistency. The decline in consistency is disappointing, especially for a place that used to be much better.

24/09/2024: It's an old restaurant-bar with a great cozy vibe. Staff is very friendly and after multiple visits I have never had an issue with the service. If you are looking for lunch or just some beers with friends, this place is a safe bet.

10/10/2024: Min familie og jeg havde den mest vidunderlige aften på Restaurant Garden ved Kongens Have. Fra det øjeblik vi trådte ind, blev vi mødt med en varm velkomst af personalet, som var yderst opmærksomme og imødekommende. Maden var i særklasse. Vi valgte en tre-retters menu, og hver ret var en fryd for både øjne og smagsløg. Forretten, en let og delikat laksetartar, satte standarden højt. Hovedretten, en perfekt tilberedt bøf med sæsonens grøntsager, var intet mindre end sublim. Til dessert nød vi en chokoladefondant, der var så blød og smeltende, at den nærmest var himmelsk. Betjeningen var professionel og venlig uden at være påtrængende. Vores tjener var utrolig vidende om både menu og vine og var fantastisk til at guide os igennem de forskellige retter og anbefalinger. Restaurant Garden er uden tvivl et sted, jeg varmt kan anbefale til alle, der ønsker en særlig madoplevelse i København. Det er et perfekt sted til en hyggelig middag med familien eller en romantisk aften i smukke omgivelser. Vi ser allerede frem til vores næste besøg!

30/09/2024: I dined at Garden Restaurant & Wine Bar with 3 other guests on Thursday evening, September 12th. Starter: Steamed sole with white cabbage. One of my guests thought it consisted of too much cabbage and too little sole. Her portion of sole was unfortunately significantly smaller than what the rest of us received. My own portion had enough sole, but I thought the cabbage could have been prepared better. It could have been steamed; it felt very raw. Main Course: Lamb culotte - again, my own portion was fine, with delicious tender meat in a nice presentation, but two of my guests received end slices of the culotte roast, which they found quite disappointing. Dessert: Mille Feuille of puff pastry was unfortunately disappointing. The puff pastry layers were very hard and difficult to cut through with a regular dessert spoon. The taste was also disappointing, flat, and uninteresting. The bottle of white wine and red wine we had with the meal was fine! Last but not least, we wanted to pay with a Forbrugsforeningskort, but the waiter’s wireless payment terminal rejected my card, even though we tried with both chip, contactless, and magnetic stripe. My partner also had a Forbrugsforeningskort, and it was also rejected after we tried to pay in the same ways. I have contacted Forbrugsforeningen about this, and I hope we can jointly rectify this issue. Best regards, Ole Lund Andersen

25/09/2024: I was down to eat at Alexander's bistro the other day and it was simply a wonderful experience. The staff were very welcoming and incredibly sweet, the food was delicious and a good selection of wine. It is definitely a visit every time, at Alexanders Bistro😍

29/10/2024: I don’t know why it’s highly recommended by Condé Nast. The seating is a bit awkward. Atmosphere not nice The cutlery were dirty and stained. The cups were broken. The menus are dirty and wrinkled. Nothing extraordinary for food taste. Coffee option is only filter coffee!!! I would not return or recommend.
