08/12/2025: We enjoyed a nice lunch at Fru Nimb December 2025. The wife had the Christmas platter, which is served in two courses, where the first serving came nicely arranged in small bowls, with fresh bread and butter and fat. The second serving came on a smaller platter, from which you could transfer the food to your plate. Everything tasted fine, although the herring and salmon had a (very) slight "refrigerator" aftertaste. I think the kitchen has made parts of the Christmas platter in advance, and stored it in the refrigerator until serving (?) I got 2 pieces of sandwiches; fried herring, which consisted of a large piece of well-ripened herring that was tastefully marinated. Really tasty herring that tasted fantastic (& homemade) Next, butter-fried fish fillet with shrimp, and lemon mayonnaise. There were not many shrimp on the fish, but two pieces of well-fried fish, and tasted exactly as a well-prepared fish fillet should taste. Both pieces of sandwiches were very nicely arranged. In addition, we got a small share - appetizer, 3 beers, 3 large schnapps, 2 desserts and coffee, for a total price of approx. DKK 1,350. Absolutely reasonable in relation to the quality of the food and service.. It is also a quite nice and cozy restaurant, where you sit comfortably in upholstered chairs/sofa. The only complaint is the acoustics, which are not optimal... Acoustic ceilings/absorbents would make a big difference. Finally, the service; we experienced very good service, and were greeted with smiles and friendliness from everyone around us. Especially our (head) waiter Victor, who was at once skilled, professional, service-minded and very friendly, and really made a positive difference to our visit. We would like to come again.

23/11/2025: A fantastic Danish culinary discovery! We had a wonderful time as a couple at this restaurant. The dishes were delicious, generous, and beautifully presented. Special mention to our French waiter, whose helpful recommendations greatly enhanced our experience. Warm service, a pleasant atmosphere… We will gladly return. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

17/10/2025: Came in to a blonde woman who was setting up chairs to ask if they were open, at first I was ignored, after I asked a second time she laughed and said “uhmm no” In the most offensive way… Really poor service.

03/08/2025: Fuimos a visitar el distrito de envasado de carne y estábamos buscando un lugar para comer en una noche muy ocupada. Elegimos gorila y nos ofrecieron un asiento junto a la ventana, que era agradable. Fuimos atendidos por diferentes empleados que eran todos muy profesionales, un camarero particularmente guapo que se parecía a cómo me imaginaría Tidus (personaje de videojuego) se vería en la vida real. Vertió el expreso sobre el affogato con finura bromista Nuestro camarero explicó que el menú es principalmente para compartir - se pide más para compartir, pero elegimos platos individuales. La porción de filete de hierro era pequeña pero de buena calidad y nos habían advertido a tope el tamaño. Estaba feliz con mi pasta. Las porciones de vino eran pequeñas, pero el vino proporcionado era de buena calidad. Preferiría que en el futuro usaran jiggers reales para verter el vino para garantizar un vertido consistente y justo, sin embargo, soy Inglés por lo que esto puede no ser tan importante para la gente Danesa. En general tuvimos una buena experiencia y gracias a los chefs y el personal por una deliciosa comida.

05/11/2025: The service is outstanding for its friendliness. We had lunch on November 5th and chose the bruschetta (delicious, but not very different from the toast you can make at home; not worth the price) and two meat dishes. The Oksefillet and the Entrecôte were simply exceptional. They reminded us of Argentinian beef. Tender meat, cooked to perfection, and served at the right temperature. The accompanying vegetables and potatoes are completely unremarkable, but that's fine for a dish where the meat is the star. The portion is just right: not small, but not overly large. The dishes are reasonably priced, but the drinks were absurdly expensive: 60 kroner for a 500ml Coca-Cola. Overall, a good experience; we'll probably return to try other options on the menu.

The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff are genuinely friendly. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic taste and warm hospitality in Copenhagen! 🍽️

25/10/2025: September 27, 2025 The dinner arranged by the travel agency was delicious. The flavors were just the right amount of salty and light. It was a great Chinese meal for a long-distance traveler. It was a pleasant experience. The staff was very busy and attentive to the guests. They were always smiling. Chinese restaurants in Europe often serve long-grain rice. It was a bit dry and tough. The dory fish wasn't very tasty, but the chef did his best to season it, making it quite edible. The other dishes, shrimp and chicken, were also quite good. The Chinese cabbage and broccoli were also delicious.

18/10/2025: Awesome food. It helps however if you know in advance what you like. Since it is Sishuan food, there is a wide variaty of chooses. Sweet and friendly staff

01/04/2026: Overall, the sandwich was okay, but the customer service and deception were a disaster. I asked for fries without salt, which I repeated five times, and the impatient cashier said, "Okay, okay," and I got fries with salt! I asked for cheese three times, and he said, "Okay, cheese." I asked while wrapping it where the cheese was, and he looked me in the eye and blatantly lied that there was cheese under the chicken. It's a terrible lie and a disgusting way to treat a customer and repeat his request a total of 10 times. That's simply not how it's done!
