24/11/2025: To be a very well organized hostel, with minimal but tidy rooms, ideal for a few nights

24/11/2025: Great location for the monuments; the main ones are about 10 minutes away. The room has a power outlet near the bed and a light. There's a great atmosphere in the hostel, with a cafe, games area, etc. The staff are friendly and there's a 24-hour reception desk.

05/08/2026: August 4, 2026. Dinner prices: All-you-can-eat only: 229 DKK With all-you-can-drink: 349 DKK The food was satisfying, and the service was fine. Even with the price increase, it's still worth visiting. The fact that you're asked to enter a tip when paying by card is a slight drawback in this day and age.

04/04/2026: Breakfast at Emerys was a wonderful surprise. The quality of the pastries was excellent, and for the price it felt like an amazing discovery. The Spandauer and the cinnamon pastry were both delicious, fresh, flavourful, and perfectly baked. The Easter bun was especially memorable: soft and moelleux, with a light vanilla cream inside that made it absolutely delightful. The service was also amazing. The lady who served us was very kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. A great spot for breakfast and definitely a place worth coming back to.

16/10/2025: Fantastic experience at Restaurant Aristo. We had a thoroughly wonderful evening at Aristo. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by smiling and welcoming waiters who really knew how to make us feel welcome. The service was top notch – attentive, professional and with a genuine interest in our having a good experience. The food was nothing short of excellent. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour – you could clearly feel the love for the good craftsmanship and the fresh ingredients. We had both fish and meat, and everything was cooked to perfection. The waterfront atmosphere and the relaxed, elegant atmosphere make Aristo a place you want to come back to again and again. A huge thank you to the entire team – both the kitchen and the waiters – for an experience in a class of its own. We are already looking forward to our next visit

30/08/2025: We had the best dinner of our entire 14-day vacation in Denmark at this litte restaurant! The Cod was amazing and very well prepared! The dessert had us dreaming of more. The view and the service were great. 5 stars well deserved!

15/08/2026: Their food quality and service is really terrible. I ordered a Kalvespyd plate and a chicken shawarma durum, every piece of the meat of kalvespyd is very dry and chewy you need to drink something with it to be able to swallow it and I took a bite of the chicken shawarma durum and noticed that it tastes only like iceberg salad and then I open the durum and I find out that there’s barely chicken shawarma pieces inside and literally 3/4 of the durum bread is just filled with iceberg salad and onions and tomatoes to make the durum look big and filled while it’s filled with just a mix of salad. If I wanted to order a salad i would have ordered a salad somewhere else and not come to a kebab place to eat an iceberg salad durum that you name on the menu “Kylling shawarma durum” and contains tiny overcooked dry pieces of chicken. And when I confronted them about it they tell me this is the portion quantities they put for everyone and that they can’t change their quantities and can’t compensate the money for food that can’t be eaten because of how overcooked and dry it is and it’s 2 completely different things that I ordered, the grilled beef spyd and chicken shawarma and both are a big fail while I have paid 274kr for these 2 meals. If you really want to eat a decent shawarma and meat that is worth your money then definitely put it somewhere else because the money a person would pay here is not worth the quality, quantity and service they provide.

05/08/2026: We bought two kebab boxes, but they were unfortunately a disappointment. The meat was dry, the food was bland and lacked flavor.

03/06/2026: I bought pizza no. 19 with mushrooms, chicken and peppers as a takeaway. I thought the pizza would have chicken strips, as it appears in the pictures, but instead it was made with chicken kebab. It is fine as such, but the meat was very fatty. Later in the day I got diarrhea. The pizza was the only thing I had eaten all day, and I suspect the old chicken from the pot was the cause. Therefore, the experience was unfortunately not very good.

16/04/2026: Amager Kebab is the second best kebab on Amager, only beaten by Chili in Kastruplundsgade. Legendary place and will always be the place!

02/07/2026: It looks like a nice little place, but they only have vegetarian food…. And someone I was with got cake that was completely dry. And they don't sell regular soda either. The atmosphere is a bit hard to describe as it was completely quiet when we arrived.

31/05/2026: We visited the cafe as part of the brunch and ballet experience. The tables were dirty when we visited and the food did not match the setting. The brunch bag is a BMO with cheese, an apple and a yogurt. Tea and coffee are self service but not complimentary. We got a flat white that was pretty sad and a cardamom bun that was somehow both hot and frozen. Definitely will not be coming back.

27/09/2025: Our waiter was clearly paid on a per-glass basis for the dishwasher, as he repeatedly grabbed our half-empty wine glasses, albeit in a sweet and smiling manner. If it weren't for the terrible acoustics, we would also have been able to hear what we were being scolded for by the champagne lady (you know who you are). good tiramisu. Can recommend investing in some acoustic panels 🫶

20/12/2025: Extremely Rude behaviour please Avoid, and also Seems like they are doing illegal / unregistered business because today i went after ordering Biryani, Waited for 20 minutes, Then they said to make Payment Either with Cash or MobilePay, I said i only use credit card or Apple Pay/ GooglePay. But they said we don’t take these, Are they living in Caves, and instead of Helping, they straight away takes these order infront of me. Extremely Rude

26/02/2026: Such a cozy place and really good drinks for the price. The bartenders are also really nice and welcoming

22/02/2026: Really good cocktails, without being exceptional. At a reasonable price. Above all, gracious, attentive and knowledgeable staff. Will we see each other again? I think so :-)
