03/11/2024: the night was amazing and the experience was perfect, Luigi and Kabi were amazing hosties!

17/11/2024: We were a group that came for Christmas lunch - and had been given a private room - which was really nice - for both us, but probably also the other guests. The dinner started well, and we were received nicely. We ordered a couple of bottles of cava, and they arrived fairly quickly - unfortunately half of the serving was spilled down the back of one of the company so he got soaked. In addition, the appetizer came while the cava was being poured, at the same time we also had to decide whether we should have wine with the food that had just been served. After that it only went downhill with the service - it took an endless amount of time to get the drinks, and the other dishes managed to arrive on the table before we got our wine that matched the food. We ordered a bottle of port for dessert, but when 20 minutes had passed after we had the dessert and the wine hadn't appeared we ended up walking down and saying it was no longer necessary as almost everyone had eaten their portions. When we had to pay, they had also put in too much for the envelope price - so we also had to comment on that. The food itself did not fail - it was quite fine - but the service was unbelievably sloppy and out of order. They could have really made a lot of money if they had serviced us and checked if we were missing anything, but unfortunately that didn't happen.

15/11/2024: Lunch with girlfriend. Tasty food - fresh smoked salmon and avocado food. The house wine. Afterwards coffee and petit four. Service was top notch: friendly and quick. A really good experience.

06/09/2024: I usually visit this cafe regularly and when the manager is there everything works fine. He is a friendly and welcoming person, and this creates a good experience. Unfortunately, that changes if the manager is not present. The staff becomes unfriendly, slow and seems indifferent to the customers, especially if you don't "look Danish." They can be rude, aggressive and not very welcoming. I recommend choosing another cafe in the area, otherwise the service can be quite bad.

25/09/2023: Nice experience, authentic and tasty. The presentation is a bit like in the 80s: without the great sense of the visual, with just a leaf of lettuce or a sprig of herbs as decoration. But luckily the taste is good, so it makes up for it. The acoustics are not good when there are many guests. Feel free to visit during the off-peak hours. It is rumored that the place will unfortunately close soon, so there is hardly much time left to make a visit. Quality and price go together well, so it can definitely be recommended.

03/07/2024: Rented an AirBNB near the Collective Bakery and popped out for a pastry and coffee this morning. I’m so glad we found this gem! Simple atmosphere and Fantastically Delicious breakfast: cheese bread (read that from another review, get the sesame seed sourdough version!), cardamom twist bun, rhubarb and cream pastry. I will return to America and I know I will replay this breakfast over and over! Thank you for great staff, great food and great coffee!

18/10/2024: Not allowed to write a new review, but would like to confirm, per 18/10-2024 that I am still a supporter of China Grill Take Away. The quality is good, the food is plentiful and at a favorable price, and if you can get home quickly with your take-away, it is still hot and ready to go. Ordered this time wan-tang soup (#4) and 4 small dishes (#53) and it was actually really good! Added 2 new pictures with items received and then my dish on a plate. Lovely food! :-) --- Previous review which I still believe applies: Ordered for Take-Away, so can't say anything about the atmosphere. At pick up it was done on time and they were very nice so it worked out fine. Chose duck in sweet and sour sauce and vegetarian dish with vegetables, both with rice. It was well prepared and there was plenty, so definitely a positive experience! The price was reasonable and overall there was a lot of quality for the money. A place I will definitely look for again.

12/10/2024: Pleasant place with well-prepared Chinese takeaway at extremely reasonable prices. Strong recommendation must sound from here.

13/10/2024: Who'd have thought there would be a place where you can still get a cigar and a beer and enjoy?

29/09/2024: A classic smoked out bar in the basement of the building. The upstairs area is also nice. Great to have some drinks and smoke a cigar. I visit every time I am in Copenhagen, great place!
