27/12/2025: We had a reservation at PS Grill Bar at 7:00 PM. We were about 20 minutes late and called to inform them of this. However, our table had been given away when we arrived. It seemed extra unprofessional that we called afterwards and asked if there was space – and were told yes, even though we had just been told the opposite on site. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend others to visit PS Grill Bar after this experience.

21/12/2025: Copenhagen’s dining scene often promises a masterclass in "hygge" and high-end execution, but my recent visit to PS Bar & Grill left me caught between a genuine appreciation for the staff and a deep disappointment in the details. The Main Event: The Wagyu Burger At 225 DKK, the stakes for their hyped Wagyu burger are as high as the price tag. On paper, it sounds like a triumph; in reality, it was a tale of two textures. While the patty itself was succulent and well-seasoned—honoring the Wagyu name—the vessel was its downfall. The brioche bun had been toasted beyond the point of caramelization into a brittle, charred state that mimicked the texture of knækbrød (rye crackers). In a city known for its world-class bakeries, a burnt bun is a cardinal sin. It was a good burger, certainly, but far from the "life-changing" experience the hype suggests. Service & Atmosphere Where PS Bar truly shines is in its efficiency. The staff are charming, attentive, and operate with a polished speed that is rare in high-traffic city spots. We were seated, served, and attended to without a moment’s lag. If you are looking for a swift meal in a vibrant setting, the service team delivers. The Dealbreaker However, the sophisticated veneer of the dining room does not extend to the facilities. The state of the restrooms was, quite frankly, inexcusable. For a mid-to-high-tier establishment, encountering neglected and "unclean" toilets is a jarring contrast that lingers longer than the taste of the meal. It is a fundamental lapse in hospitality that makes it impossible to award a higher rating. The Verdict: PS Bar & Grill offers a lively atmosphere and friendly faces, but until they master the toaster and a cleaning schedule, it remains a "once-is-enough" destination.

30/12/2025: I tried three different kinds of their kebab today: chicken, minced beef, and lamb with bulgur. It was the worst kebab I have ever had. The lamb and chicken were extremely low quality and tasted like they had been sitting in the fridge for days. The bulgur was awful, as if it had been cooked days ago and simply reheated today. Only the minced beef kebab was OK. This was my first and absolutely last time going there. I strongly recommend that no one goes there. It is not worth trying even once.

07/09/2025: A long overdue review for a place that left Lasting Impression of Danish Cuisine. Even after years have passed, my memory of dining at Almanak in Copenhagen is as vivid as ever. My culinary journey through Northern Europe led me to this stunning restaurant, and I was immediately struck by its elegant design and well-thought-out decor. From the meticulous table settings to the beautifully curated menu, every detail was perfect. The service was impeccable and a true highlight of the evening. The staff's ability to not only deliver each dish but also to passionately explain its preparation and ingredients added a layer of depth to the experience. Their positive energy and knowledge made the meal even more memorable. I opted for the three-course menu, which was a masterpiece of Danish flavours. The salt and sugar cured pike perch with beans and rapeseed oil was fresh and delicate. The main course, organic chicken with brown butter, carrot and elderflower, was a comforting and sophisticated dish. The dessert—black currant, salt caramel malt, and tarragon—was so incredible that it seemed to disappear the moment it was placed in front of me. The food was absolutely delicious, and I still commend the chefs for their masterful presentation of classic Danish cuisine. Even tho I missed a visit on my current trip, I am eagerly looking forward to returning to Almanak in the coming months, confident that the quality and integrity of their food remain just as exceptional as I remember.

30/08/2025: We had ordered an early bird for the price, the food was fine. There is only a wine list, it would have been helpful to have a list of other drinks as well, so the waiter has to try to remember which beers or sodas they have. If you manage to get in, you can. If you come outside the opera's opening hours, it is almost impossible to find your way in. All doors are locked, there is only a sign for a cafe that was closed. You have to call the restaurant so that an employee can come down and pick you up. It would save everyone time and resources if it was communicated that you had to call and where you had to stand to get in. The view is nice from the restaurant, but better from the balcony.

23/05/2025: Super cute bistro. We went for brunch and it was so delicious, one of the best I’d had. Portion size was just good for us, delicious food and variety. Got a nice table by the window as well. Waitress was so sweet and welcoming. Got a hot cocoa to finish off, was very nice as well. All in all a good experience and will definitely come again!

20/12/2025: Extremely Rude behaviour please Avoid, and also Seems like they are doing illegal / unregistered business because today i went after ordering Biryani, Waited for 20 minutes, Then they said to make Payment Either with Cash or MobilePay, I said i only use credit card or Apple Pay/ GooglePay. But they said we don’t take these, Are they living in Caves, and instead of Helping, they straight away takes these order infront of me. Extremely Rude

29/03/2025: Order a grilled sandwich with cheese and grilled peppers. - is pleasantly surprised, as there is obviously a salad on the plate. However, there was a lot of onion in it. - but I don't eat. So couldn't eat it. It would have been nice to inform about that salad so that you could vote. And the sandwich really wasn't worth DKK 79. Practice..

13/08/2025: We have been regular customers and usually visit the store regularly, but on August 13th around 4pm we had a less than good experience. When we arrived, two employees were sitting outside on the benches smoking. Shortly after, they were ready to make our sandwich/bagel/salad. Even though hands were washed and gloves were used, it still didn't feel completely hygienic to us, so we chose not to buy anything that day. Maybe smoking breaks could be taken in the backyard or somewhere away from the store, so the impression of hygiene is maintained. We're taking a break from here and hope that the owner changes this approach. Otherwise, the food is super good.

26/09/2025: We visited twice during our stay at the hotel across the street and liked it here! The toastie egg and cheese sandwiches are a decent breakfast, and their orange juice was delicious. Coffee was good, nothing special. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the seating was nice!
