07/11/2024: Let me start by saying… I never write reviews, but this one just had to be written. (Just a few months late.) The team at Gro Spiseri are amazing! So incredibly warm and kind. The food was beautiful, the wines delicious, the space absolutely stunning, and the energy that is created around that long dining table is something very special. We had booked 8 seats for lunch on our wedding day and arrived over an hour late after our ceremony and some car issues! I cannot express how kind and understanding the staff were, and also the incredible guests, who all waited to eat until we were there! We were sat in the middle of the table, and just as I had hoped, the wedding celebration extended from our small group to include all the guests of the lunch. It was such a special communal atmosphere and we were on cloud 9. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to the incredibly staff, and for making a space that also attracts such wonderful guests. ☺️ Love Katie and Tibor. 30/09/2024: My wife and I celebrated our wedding here and were absolutely amazed. The garden rooftop is very beautiful and you can really feel the love for the little details. The atmosphere inside is very cozy, with a little stove to keep you warm and a lot of plants. The staff is absolutely professional and attentive, and at the same time very down-to-earth and friendly. The food and drinks were really delicious, as well - many of our guests called it "pure art" :-) We had a really unique and unforgettable night here and absolutely recommend to experience it, as well!

29/10/2024: Tap water in Copenhagen is drinkable, so it is not fair to add 60,00 Kr. = 8 € on the bill……. Be careful tourists! They are charging 30,00 Kr. per person for a glass of tap water!

14/10/2024: Cozy place in vesterbro. A charming, cute, old gentleman served us wine. Usually very busy on weekends - you might have to wait outside for while. Very, chill, relaxed ambience. We will drop by again sometime for wine.

09/11/2024: I went there tonight with my friends on a Saturday. The bar was already busy but we managed to get a good table with cozy seats. The waiters were extremely nice and attentive. I chose a great cocktail rum called something like "Benathial" which was original and tasted great. I will definitely come back.

03/10/2024: Went there once and ordered the tasting menu (no wine) - do not know if the menu is still served. It took the restaurant more than an hour to serve the first plate. I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. Our food started to be served over an hour late, and for each dish, we waited an additional 20 to 40 minutes, even after finishing the previous plate. Meanwhile, the chef was wandering around the restaurant chatting with guests and serving bread, which felt quite bizarre. When we brought up our concerns, we were told that the dishes just take time to prepare. However, the food was nothing special, but for a mixed meat and potato dish, it shouldn't take 40 minutes—especially since it was a tasting menu, and they should know in advance what’s being served and have it timed. To make matters worse, they attended and served food to people who arrived after us. We ended up spending nearly 2 hours in that place. To top it off, the bill was quite steep for such a frustrating experience. When we mentioned our concerns to the staff again at the end, it felt like they were gaslighting us, insisting that it just took time to cook. I felt completely taken advantage of, as if it were my first time dining out! Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and I won't be returning.

13/07/2024: There were 15 of us and we all loved our pizzas, the gentleman alone served us and chatted with us, very pleasant! I recommend 😊🇫🇷
