11/10/2025: Café Victor is an icon of Copenhagen — a long-standing staple for a spring or summer lunch or dinner on the terrace. It does a remarkably good job of capturing a Parisian-style luxury bistro atmosphere, with a lively yet elegant energy that makes it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The setting is pleasant, though a bit dated in some areas and in need of a refresh. The terrace could benefit from more heating on cooler days, though the provided blankets and heaters are a nice touch. Tablecloths would also help elevate the presentation and ambiance. The food is generally very good — simple, fresh, and tasty. The bread could definitely be fresher, but overall dishes are well prepared, and desserts are especially enjoyable. The mains are about average compared to Parisian bistros, but slightly above average for Copenhagen. Staff are polite and generally responsive, though sometimes a bit distracted and dressed in a style that feels slightly old-fashioned. Still, they maintain a friendly, professional (if sometimes overly informal) attitude. The bathrooms could be cleaner and more modern, and the interior décor would benefit from some updating, but the overall charm remains undeniable. Located in one of the most luxurious parts of Copenhagen, just behind the d’Angleterre, Café Victor remains a personal favorite — reliable, lively, and enjoyable year after year. I’ve been coming here for many years and even went twice on my last trip — it’s my go-to spot in Copenhagen when I want a classic, comfortable dining experience.

11/10/2025: One of my favorite meals while visiting Copenhagen. I walked in and got a seat at the bar and immediately felt welcomed and comfortable. I opted for the "7 Servings" menu option, 7 courses from the menu so I could a try a bunch of things. It was so much food for a great price, and I found everything to be beautifully presented, simple, and very delicious. The pizza bread is not to be missed.

28/10/2025: Restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Food absolutely delicious! The crispy fried rolls were a dream, the curry coconut milk soup very good & tasty. Such tender soft skewered pork! Loved the friendly and joking chief waiter! Came for a second time while in the city again, loved the soup and the spicy cucumber salad, chicken was good too. But it's the warm and calm atmosphere that made me come back, paired with the spacy room - it's airy you're not cramped into a small place. Service very friendly again.

26/10/2025: Super delicious fish and chips and very friendly service. A small, highly recommended "secret" spot among all the Nyhavn restaurants. Despite the rainy autumn weather, it's cozy to sit on the boat, even with a heater.

22/09/2025: Super delicious fries! That's what fries should be like. And the fish was delicious, too. The atmosphere is also very nice, and the staff is very friendly.

26/08/2025: Vi var 5, der besøgte stedet for første gang, vores barnebarn og hans kæreste fik forskellige burgere, som de var fuld tilfredse med. Vores datter fik en pastaret med trøfler, og hun kunne ikke spise op, men hun nød hver eneste mundfuld. Min kone fik laks med limesauce, og hun kunne lige til nød spise op og syntes, fisken smagte dejligt. Jeg selv valgte rib-eye med pebersauce. Bøffen var perfekt stegt og pebersaucen var den bedste, jeg nogensinde har smagt, der var virkelig stærk smag. Tjeneren var både venlig, sød og yderst kompetent, hun kunne svare på alle vores spørgsmål. Serveringen foregik rimelig hurtigt, og vi gik alle derfra mætte, tilfredse og en oplevelse rigere, som vi alle 5 var enige om, skulle gentages i den nære fremtid.

11/08/2025: Éramos 4 personas, teníamos una mesa muy bonita junto a la ventana, la comida era absolutamente excelente, porciones muy generosas y todo, el pastel de chocolate es el mejor pastel que tuve en años. Sin embargo, A diferencia de la tarta de chocolate, el Servicio fue de lo peor que he visto en años, las dos camareras fueron muy antipáticas y poco profesionales, una de ellas en particular, no sonriendo, no preguntando cómo estuvo todo, Una vez que terminamos con nuestros platos principales, después de unos 15 minutos, uno de ellos se sentó a la mesa, tomó dos platos y regresó a sentarse en su teléfono, otros 15 minutos pasaron antes de que el resto se despejara y se ordenaran los postres. Como dice una de las otras reseñas, IT realmente les pareció un castigo y no querían estar aquí. Nos hubiera encantado volver, ya que la comida es bastante buena, pero no lo haremos, no con ese tipo de Servicio.

16/08/2025: saw good reviews and the lamb meat is really good. the mango and acacado are great too. overall very fresh and i like the fruits/veggie combo. it’s really a good healthy weight loss meal. And yeah i was hungry again in 30 mins 😂 because there aren’t much carbs maybe. that’s the point of a weight loss meal! kids had pasta and she is happy with it. The nachos are not as heavy as what it might be elsewhere …

16/07/2025: Min familie og mig, skulle ud og spise aftensmad. Vi fik 6 retter som altsammen var til UG især deres sashimi og deres sushi. Deres tun var helt klart den bedste tun vi noglesinde havde smagt, og deres sushi smagte også helt fantastisk.

05/10/2025: Pizza Huset on Borgergade is a good spot for when you want something straightforward and filling. The pizza itself is exactly what you would expect from a local pizza place — tasty enough to enjoy without trying to be something more than it is. What made the visit better was the team working there, who were genuinely friendly and welcoming. That personal warmth makes the experience stand out more than the food itself. The fact that it stays open until late also makes it a reliable choice when most other options have closed. It is a place that does what it promises, and does it with the kind of service that makes you want to go back when you need something convenient and easy. I went there twice as I was staying in a hotel super close to it.

01/10/2025: Excellent Pizza at very reasonable price. We ordered three vegetarian Pizzas for our party. Each pizza was coked to perfection with adequate veggies - mushroom, spinach, artichoke and onions. Crust was also very nice. A must place to visit when you are in Nyhaven area.

18/09/2025: Very authentic and fresh food. In our 3 day stay, we came to this place twice (would have been thrice but were busy with work). Extremely kind and polite owners. Even though we came near closing time, they allowed us to eat, served us and didn't rush us. Definitely come here if even if it is far for you. The food will not leave you disappointed.
