01/09/2024: Cozy little bar with the actual brewery right behind the counter. Always something delightful on tap and the personnel are great. If ciders are your thing the owners have a bar for that around the corner with their own brews there as well.
18/05/2024: A super good experience with cider and beer tasting. It's all here - both brewery and bar just a few meters away.

08/11/2024: Absolute little gem on a beautiful street! Stumbled on it after a long day of shopping and tried lots of wines for free and got orange wines with a platter of cheese and meats. Could not recommend more! Lovely staff and cosy atmosphere.
02/11/2024: At lunch there were few options (sandwich of the day, soup of the day or cured meats and cheeses) but the two we had (sandwich and soup) were really delicious! Good raw materials, everything very well looked after.
Quiet environment and excellent service!

24/10/2024: Very tasty Durum kebab but the meat tasted on the cheaper side. Definitely still yummy and smells nice inside. The fries were very very good, fresh and lots of fry sauce. RECOMMEND!
18/10/2024: Pizza was delicious and the family edition is huge.

15/11/2024: The perfect place for three friends who want to go out to eat hearty, Danish food in cozy surroundings. The service and atmosphere at the restaurant are top class.
13/11/2024: We are an English couple who came for some authentic danish food and it was more than we could of wished for. The pork belly was delicious and the staff were so friendly - highly recommended!

These people put so much love on everything they do, and the staff is so so nice and are clearly in love with what they do and offer you. Do yourself a favor and try these at Democratic together with a fantastic coffee! Not my last time visiting this coffee shop!

29/10/2024: I was on my way home from class when I spotted a charming café and decided to stop for a cup of coffee.
The service was excellent; the waiter brought my coffee outside for me. However, the coffee itself was quite average—definitely not as good as what I make at home.
I did try their homemade apple pie, which was decent

10/11/2024: This is absolutely the tastiest, juiciest, all round best burger I've ever tasted. Quirky and friendly setting. Highly recommend. We had the classic and shared some gorilla fries. Both delicious.

23/10/2024: Spent 700kr for two people on food and they refused to serve us tap water. Food was nice but expensive for what it was. Had to order at the cashier, pay in advance, nobody came to check in during service. Wouldn’t recommend for the overall experience. The tap water was the real deal breaker.
15/10/2024: Tomamos un aperitivo en el mercado Torverhallerne, los smorrebrod típicos y vimos éste de sushi y decidimos pedir una tabla de 14 para probar. Estaba bueno, tampoco tengo yo tanto criterio porque no soy amante del sushi, pero para un aperitivo cumplía las expectativas.

The menu is an all-star lineup of the classics (escargots, oysters, tartare, etc), and the servings are hearty.
One of the few times we went to a French restaurant in Copenhagen and didn’t feel shortchanged.
Highly recommended.
30/10/2024: Classic French bistro. Great wine menu. Busy and small, but nice waiters with an overview. The food does not reach the 4 stars, but the overall experience does.

03/11/2024: we were hotel guests and wanted to eat something before leaving to the airport. also, it was the birthday of my colleague who was with me. we arrived at the restaurant and the unfriendly manager came and said that they are fully booked. the entire restaurant was empty as it was 5 in the afternoon. I‘ve asked him if we could eat something at the bar. he said: „we do not offer the full menu today“ and left us standing at the entrance.
because of this, I will also not further recommend the hotel to my friends. this ruined the experience and was just unfriendly.
