16/05/2025: Café Baryl absolutely blew me away. From the moment I walked in, I felt wrapped in cozy Scandinavian charm — the minimalist décor, the warm lighting, and the abundance of greenery create a space that’s both stylish and inviting. But the real star here is the food. Every dish is a work of art, both visually and in taste. I had the vegan brunch plate and a beetroot latte, and I still think about them weeks later. Everything was fresh, organic, and bursting with flavor. You can tell they care deeply about quality and sustainability. The service was lovely — genuinely friendly without being overbearing. Even though the café was busy, the staff remained calm, attentive, and efficient. I highly recommend this cafe for cozy and amazing brunch!!!

10/02/2025: Finding this place was one of our city trip highlights. A charming restaurant with friendly staff and an amazing wine selection. The charcuterie and cheese boards were absolutely amazing and delicious. It's run by a group of friends who are passionate about good food and wine an decided to start a restaurant with just that. This really shows in their menu, service and enthusiasm for quality. Thanks for having us and will definitely visit again next time were in Copenhagen!

14/02/2025: Very cute place! We went here for a glass of wine and a small little aperitif. Super nice interior. The beautiful ceiling to floor curtains do so much to this place, also the lighting inside is equally nice. The atmosphere in here is just great in general, and it’s obvious nothing is random. I had a drink here I fell in love with: the Caffè soda vodka. Having never tried caffè soda in my life, I was super pleased to see I didn’t just order a random vodka soda, but actually got an Italian drink😂 it was very delicious. Definitely a place we will come back to for another date night.

07/05/2025: This is the place to be on a summer day in NV. Great terrace, only two beers on tap but a wide selection of organic wines, cool and beautiful people, and the option to order pizza from Pico and enjoy it right there. It’s a bit pricey, though. I’d recommend adding some music or organizing small concerts — that would be a big upgrade.

21/05/2025: Extremely Disappointing — Not Worth the Hype Currently staying here with two nights to go, and honestly, I wish we could cancel. This has been one of the most frustrating hotel stays I’ve experienced. For a place that markets itself as an eco hotel, allowing smoking is incredibly contradictory. The only way to get fresh air is to open the windows — but then you’re hit with the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. Hardly eco-conscious or guest-friendly. Yes, I understand that sustainability means avoiding unnecessary replacements, but there’s a difference between “eco” and neglect. The carpets and furnishings aren’t just old — they’re filthy. It doesn’t feel cared for. We’re here for five days with breakfast included. While I respect minimizing waste, serving the exact same organic salad and eggs every single day is just disappointing and shows a lack of effort. And then there’s the spa. On the day we arrived, we weren’t told the sauna doesn’t open until 5pm. It was awkward and uncomfortable to show up in a robe and be turned away. By the time it opened, the moment had passed — and the whole experience felt tainted. The location is great, but that’s where the positives end. Questionable eco standards, poor communication, and a generally unpleasant atmosphere. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
