22/10/2025: Wow, what a gem. I'm reviewing the indoor restaurant, not the outdoor. They are combined, but very different. Inside is elegant and amazing food! Outside is airy, fun and lively, but bar food. August was an amazing host. Very good information from him. You feel like you are talking to a friend. The food, wine and beer inside are expanded from outside. The tartare was exceptional. It is in the top 5 for sure and possibly my top 3 I've had all over the world. What a surprise!

05/05/2025: Nothing less than an amazing experience. My wife invited me to the theatre, so I wanted to find a great place nearby for dinner. We’ve visited hundreds of restaurants in the city center and other neighborhoods, but we haven’t spent much time in Østerbro. Honestly, I chose Barner based on ratings, the menu, and the photos. It exceeded our expectations, and we can wholeheartedly recommend it to others. We’ll definitely be coming back. By the way, we ordered all the starters and first courses to share and can recommend every single dish and the amazing wine as well.

30/03/2025: Very pleasant experience. The food was tasty and well balanced on flavours. The presentation of the plates is very nice and the service was incredibly professional and attentive. I recommend to book a table specially if you are thinking about going late in the evening (close to 19:30/20:00) since it was packed at that time)

14/10/2025: Just had a delicious breakfast and a really good cup of coffee. Had a salted caramel latte to-go and it tastes like nectar of the gods ♥️

17/09/2025: Everything was phenomenal; the atmosphere, service, coffees, & food. From start to finish, this restaurant was EPIC! The coffees were the perfect flavor and temp, the food was perfect from flavor, texture, & presentation! The service was spot on.

04/10/2025: The waiter was downright rude to us. He was clearly stressed and got extremely irritated that we wanted to change tables and almost threw the plates back on the table afterwards. The food was Ok, but the waiter's aggressive behavior was the overriding problem and the main ingredient in the experience you are left with.

03/10/2025: My family and I had lunch there today. We ordered fish and chips, it was super greasy and the french fries that came with the dish were overly cooked (almost black) / very greasy. The calamari was very dry and wasn’t tasty. It was obvious that the meals were not carefully prepared. Totally wasn’t worth the price.

15/10/2025: They allow you to reserve until 9 p.m. We reserved at 8:30 p.m., and when we arrived, they told us the kitchen would close in 15 minutes. We had to choose and eat in a hurry. The food was acceptable, but nothing special.

03/10/2025: this place was voted copenhagen's best pizza for a good reason -- it's just really good pizza, vegan or not. excellent napolitan style crust, interesting toppings and the most rare -- actually good vegan cheese. even my non-vegan wife who hates most vegan cheese was impressed.

17/10/2025: The food is boring and way too expensive for what you get. We had brunch - 5 things for 155,-. That's 31 kroner per choice. I ordered fruit salad, tomato salad, scrambled eggs, sausages and yogurt. The sausages are not sausages, but 3 slices of one larger sausage - so that's 10,- for about 1.5 cm of sausage… The tomato salad is not a salad, but some cut cherry tomatoes with oil on top… Some of the tomatoes were so unripe that they were downright rancid… Wow! The fruit salad consisted of a lot of grapes with three small pieces of melon and two slices of orange on top. That's pretty tame! You can buy a whole kilo of those grapes for 20,- at the grocery store across the street. I would recommend that you spend your money somewhere else.

02/10/2025: WOW! What a great find! Only has about 200 gins, so I’ll need a couple more days to get thru them… ;-) . Staff can help you find something you like. He poured a few tastes for me to help home in on the right stuff. The “Not a Negroni” menu was amazing, still has the bitter of Negroni but doesn’t overwhelm the gin. Just GO!

25/09/2025: Ready for GT aka Gin & Tonic - was really surprised by the selection & especially the self-production of Tonic, which should give at least 3 more stars - irresistible✨ At the same time, the service is also top notch - the employees know what they are talking about👌

21/09/2025: We had bought a 4-course menu via Early Bird, but from the start the experience was a disappointment. The first serving was not at all the dish we had bought in advance – with no explanation other than that “the menu had changed” after we had to ask ourselves why we got something different. This is in itself unprofessional when you, as a guest, have ordered something specific. Unfortunately, the service experience was no better. We were not asked once if we wanted water – we had to ask for it ourselves, and only after about 20 minutes of waiting did it come to the table. We also ordered drinks, but it took half an hour before we got them. We managed to eat the entire first course without anything to drink at all. At the third serving they had forgotten to give us potatoes. The side dishes were simply forgotten and only came when we were already halfway done. Of course, they should have been served together. During the entire visit (2 hours) we had only had one drink, because no one at any point came by to ask if we wanted to order more. Overall a really bad experience: lack of overview, long wait for drinks and no attention to the guests. We left very disappointed

16/09/2025: Wonderful family atmosphere and delicious cuisine. Unsurpassed fish dishes. Service at the highest level. Thank you for the pleasant time spent in your restaurant, I advise all guests and residents of Copenhagen to visit.

21/08/2025: Pathetic, tasteless, wastage of money. Dry meat without curry & even salt seems like cooked in water. All food items were bland in taste. Never ever recommend to anyone. Save your money & go to a better place instead.
