13/10/2024: While visiting the SMK and Natural History Museum, my wife and I popped into Gravy for lunch, and I am so grateful that we did. This cute little restaurant had some of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I had a beef sandwich with pesto and tomatoes, and my wife had a similar chicken sandwich. All the ingredients, from the bread to the meat to the sauces, were excellent. I think they also do dinner, so I hope to have the opportunity to return one day!

09/11/2024: Although the food was tasty, the service was awful. They told me that I didn’t pay for fries, then acknowledged their mistake, afterwards they also gave me fries without cheese even though this is what I paid for, and acknowledged their mistake again…

27/10/2024: The staff was great and friendly, and the food was beautiful. However, I did feel that the fish cake one that I tried tasted a little stale, like it had been refrigerated for a long time. Perhaps that's how it's supposed to be, but it didn't taste fresh. I had other smørrebrød that was very fresh and delicious because it was made on the spot.

17/10/2024: Stopped in for a quick lunch and was impressed by the salmon salad smørrebrød. The service was quick even though it was busy. Would definitely return and try their other sandwiches!

26/10/2024: We stumbled into this place as tourists, and left as huge fans. The weekend brunch was incredible - salmon was perfect, many other dishes also tasted incredible good, and we have never tasted sweet melons. Lovely decor and service too. A great start to our Danish trip!

05/11/2024: The only good thing was the service. The rest was terrible. The food was really bad and the selection was the worst we have tried. Inedible. The meat had a rotten taste. Everything was small portions. You get, for example, a cabbage or tomato or dry meatball. It's not worth the money at all and we didn't end up full or satisfied. The only good thing was the dessert. Do not recommend visiting this place at all.

12/11/2024: They charged DKK 49 for a jug of tap water! I can't drink anything but tap water because of allergies. But to demand so much for it, it is rude.

17/11/2024: The staff is very attentive and friendly, the atmosphere is cozy and pleasant although at some times it was uncomfortably hot inside. Even if they weren’t particularly complex I’ve really enjoyed the mushroom medley and the monk fish. As some of the other comments have mentioned the food experience is pretty basic - if you’ve been to any other one star Michelin restaurant in Spain, Italy, Belgium or France then you might agree as I have with the other ‘unimpressed’ reviews. If you’ve never been to a one star then it could maybe be a good culinary experience and I encourage you to go with an open heart. The first red flag was that there was no homemade sourdough bread / butter infusion. As you might know this is an unwritten rule and a hallmark of star level Michelin restaurants, a sort of greeting to your customers but also a display of skill and tone-setting for the experiences to come. For me waiting to see what type of artisanal bread and what crazy butter infusion Chefs come up with is 25% of the experience. Sadly this felt like a regular fine dining restaurant and was lacking the finer details needed for a complete experience.

21/10/2024: Excellent place, slightly high prices and unwelcoming staff, the products are very good and fresh, however we were told that the famous pistachio cube was out of stock, and they pushed us onto the apple flavored cube, after having sat down at the table they put it in the window the elusive pistachio cube and not even 5 minutes had passed, so it wasn't cooking. Quite disappointed

14/10/2024: Excellent coffee (good espresso and milk for milk-based ones), tasty pastries and best sourdough buns with butter & Gammel Knas cheese!
