10/12/2025: Very disappointing experience Unfortunately, our visit to this La Galette restaurant in Copenhagen was extremely unpleasant, not because of the food, but because of the owner’s attitude. From the moment we arrived, we were treated in a disrespectful and dismissive way, which made us feel genuinely unwelcome. Instead of hospitality, we felt like we were bothering them just by being there. Because of this behavior, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. A restaurant should make its guests feel comfortable and appreciated, and this one did the exact opposite. I am certain I will not return.

02/12/2025: I never leave reviews, but this time I think it's important. I was so excited to finally go to this place I'd been hearing about since arriving in Denmark, and I couldn't wait to share a meal that reminded me of France for my birthday. And the meal was DELICIOUS, I want to emphasize that. But the service surprised me, and not in a good way. The waitress was very nice, but the manager, or at least I think he was, was rather rude and even made me jump when he got angry at some plates next to us. He was very friendly with the other customers, though. I don't understand why he behaved like that and was so grumpy towards us. I was looking forward to having a sweet crepe to finish the meal, but we ended up leaving before we could because of this kind of behavior, feeling unwelcome. And that's not even mentioning the fact that we were ignored several times, and we never received the water we asked for. And when it came time to pay, I admit I was a little confused because the manager spoke to me in Danish, which I don't fully understand yet, but after we paid, he didn't hide his annoyance and muttered something because we hadn't left a tip. But honestly, if I were you, you wouldn't have either. I really want to come back for the good food, the atmosphere, and to support a French restaurant, but I'm not sure I'll be well received... At least it reminded me why I left France in the first place.

10/10/2025: I used to eat Spicy Miso Ramen here few years ago quite often. The kakuni (pork belly) was really amazing - almost falling apart from slow cooking with rich deep almost smoked-like flavor. Today it’s just a chewy pork-tasting blob of meat. Miso broth has none of that creaminess it used to have. So sad.

22/07/2025: Wow. One of the best duck of my life, with delicious seasonal vegs. Was very appreciated that the recipes, even if fried, were low oiled. Maybe just put free tap water or lower in price, and wifi.

01/12/2025: I picked up a takeout order after my shift, and it was excellent. The food was well-prepared, nicely packaged, and full of flavor — truly delicious. Everything held up perfectly on the way home. Highly recommended for great food.

30/11/2025: Completely authentic Indian experience. The food was perfectly prepared and tasted exactly as described. The service was top notch and the atmosphere and mood was cozy and very relaxing. 5/5 🤩

15/12/2025: They made our special occasion disaster. I do not suggest this hotel. I trusted them for my mother's 60th birthday however although emails and followups they even forgot to put the note in the room and not even apologized afterwards. Rude and cold.

12/11/2025: A very good hotel, ideally located about 20 minutes from the airport and close to all points of interest (between 10 and 20 minutes). The rooms are pleasant, well-equipped, and comfortable. The only slight drawback is the soundproofing; you can sometimes hear noise from the hallway. Despite this, the location and value for money make it a very good choice that I recommend without hesitation.

09/08/2025: Really bad experience - I will get to the food but let me start with the hygiene. I have serious doubts this restaurant is operating legally. The only entrance to the customer's bathroom is through the kitchen, which is a major red flag - there should be no contamination possible between the two. Secondly the only ventilation in the restaurant is from a fan, it was 21 degrees outside but probably 30+ inside because of the pizza oven that was running. Going through the (dirty) bathroom to the kitchen I could observe many ingredients including the cheese sitting there at room temperature. There is no way the food can be safe when cheese is sitting there outside at 30 degrees. Finally the food - it's not great. The lasagna came in a cheap aluminium packaging (see the photo). The penne bolognese were really bad, I suspect bad quality meat. The only upside - margherita pizza was decent - the best thing about it was the dough. If it were only about the bad food quality I would not have posted this novel of a review. But I am really concerned about the hygiene rules which are 100% not respected here. Don't risk your health by going to this place.

17/09/2025: Systematized durum (kebab) review. 21 points total. The bread (0-3 points): 1.5 points (it is proclaimed on signs and menus that the bread is homemade, but it is not! It is the standard slightly elastic bread with burn marks) The salad (cucumber, tomato, lettuce and onion), 0-2 points: 1.5 points (no onion) Some free extras (e.g. red cabbage, hummus, taboulah), 0-1 points: 0 points The meat (0-5 points): 2 points (the meat has an excellent consistency but it is not spicy enough at all. It is quite tasteless) The chili (0-2 points): 1 point (the place only has chili ketchup, which I think does not belong in a durum, but it had a nice strength) The dressing (0-2 points): 2 points (standard and good amount) The quantity / how full you were (0-2 points): 2 points (nice satiety) Service (0-1 points): 1 point (fast and friendly service) Price (0-3 points, where 3 points are 30-40 kr., 2.5 points are 40-50 kr., 2 points are 50-60 kr., 1.6 points are 60-70 kr., 1 point is over 70 kr.: 2 points (55 kr. lunch special.) 13/21 points = 3 stars out of 5

06/08/2025: Such a lovely cafe especially this time of the year when it's bathed in sun! Food is good. I especially enjoyed my Morning Complete set with the soft Boiled eggs, granola and yogurt, rue toast cheese and fruit compote. Flat white was perfect.

14/11/2025: Often order a pizza sandwich from here on my night off from the kitchen. Be careful ordering from Just Eat - they are not always so reliable. Piccolo Italia has your food ready quickly! But have to wait for the bid from Just Eat before they start making the food.

30/09/2025: Piccolo Pizzeria is a place that will touch your heart. It's not just delicious, authentic pizza with a distinct Italian flavor, but the atmosphere that truly makes all the difference. As soon as you walk in the door, you feel at home, welcomed with a smile and surrounded by people who make you feel welcome. It's like reuniting with old friends every time you return. What a joy to have such a special place!
