20/12/2025: We went to the Nytorv restaurant with a huge appetite (which is why we ate so much from our plates, and because it was expensive) and without a reservation. It's conveniently located near the Christmas market, and given the reviews, we figured a visit couldn't hurt. Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy it and can't agree with the positive reviews. Why? - Paper tablecloths and a table cluttered with unnecessary junk. - Water in small plastic bottles, very unceremoniously placed on the table, as if to say, "Open it yourself." - An incredibly difficult-to-read menu. That's part of the experience, too. - The food was just like the ambiance – not good. The potatoes were probably reheated. Looking at the pictures, you'd expect them to be crispy. Unfortunately, they were soggy and mushy. The much-touted mashed potatoes and spinach were insufficient compared to the rest of the dish. The lamb was far too fatty. And the overall taste was simply uninspired. ... - No one asked about dessert or coffee. - The table right next to the restroom is really not in a very nice location, and you're constantly bumping into people trying to use it. - The farewell was also quite impersonal. All in all, you don't get the feeling that the chef and waitstaff enjoy their jobs. It's a shame, because there are plenty of people around who are setting a good example.

19/12/2025: Nice place to take a bite of Danish cuisine. Tasty dishes though not too filling.

23/09/2025: We were a club of older gentlemen who were invited to lunch at Restaurant Kongedybet in Husum. Easy to find and get to and even free parking right outside, classy. We were a little surprised to have to choose dishes for a brunch at 1 pm, but that's okay, because then there was room for more of the excellent dishes that you could choose from. Absolutely the best brunch/lunch I've ever had. One surprise was that you couldn't get beer or cava, but there were many good alternatives.

06/11/2025: Lunch at Turesen, never again. Fish plate with white herring, crispy fried fish fillet that was delicious and a piece of gravad salmon. Warm dish was a tartelette and a piece of boiled ham, the one we buy in Lidl for 20, with a fried egg. Then a cookie from a can and a couple of chocolate buttons without coffee, no cheese. Never again.

20/09/2025: Fine ingredients except for rye bread. It looked like Schulstad's bagel bread - not much homemade there. Fine beer menu for my taste 🍻

16/09/2025: Great place with good beer, good service and you can bring your dog in, so definitely the best place to get a beer on Amager

08/09/2025: I'm a big fan of Amager Bryghus, but not with this place. Even though the door was open, the room smelled a lot of tobacco smoke and the bar itself was completely sticky. The waitress wasn't very friendly/chatty.

01/07/2025: Super local fish shop right by the water with an amazing view into the coastline. One of the most friendly staff I have ever met in my life. Portions are big and filling. It’s a bang for your buck, something that is harder to find in Copenhagen. If your in the nearby area, 100% check this place out!

25/06/2025: Cozy sailing club where good Danish sandwiches with beer and schnapps are served at very reasonable prices, without any fancy feelings about good food.

24/07/2025: 🌟 Midtown Hookah Café Review 🌟 Midtown is definitely one of the best hookah cafés in town! The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, the decor is stylish with a cool lounge vibe, and the music fits the atmosphere perfectly. The shisha is top notch – lots of flavors, good smoke, and fast service with coal changes. You can really feel that they care about quality. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and you always feel welcome. The prices are fair, and they also have drinks and snacks, so you can really relax with your friends. Midtown is the perfect place to hang out, and I will definitely be back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars from here!

13/12/2025: We have just held our company Christmas party at Mela. We were very satisfied, the food and service were really good. We have eaten anti-pasti, pizza and desserts. We have tried many dishes from the menu. The pizza was exactly as it should be: lovely fluffy dough and very tasty topping. We have tried several pizzas and all were really good, especially the Tartuffo pizza was popular with our employees. The dessert was simply perfect. The staff was very friendly and service minded. We will definitely come back.

15/11/2025: Just picked up the pizza. It’s lukewarm bordering cold ! They said pick up at 17:20 I was here 17:20. Couldn’t you keep it warm if it was YOUR mistake to make it too quickly ??!! I open it and it’s a plain red pizza without ANY mozarella with burrata on top. Another disappointment ! It’s highly unlikely that a pizza that’s right after mozzarella on the menu will be without mozzarella so they should have specified it as NO ONE does it (for a reason) and it’s unusual. Well, I don’t know - maybe to avoid pissing off clients ? Soon enough they’ll charge you 110 kr for flour and a tomatoe - which they basically did here. Pissed ! It was my first time and last one for certain ! With so MANY fantastic places in the area it’s not worth it to waste money, time and taste buds. Btw … that’s how I feel before even trying this. I don’t want to be bothered now. Btw now at home I see clearly how small and burnt it is. Seriously ?! 110 kr for such a small one and you can’t even make it ?! And yes, it’s burnt on the bottom as well. Why do u bother with a fire oven if you don’t know how to use it ?! Never again.

28/10/2025: It’s been 2years i come for my studies to Copenhagen and as i stay near Vanlose station, it became ritual to take pizza from Superbello restaurant and i can highly recommend it,very friendly staff, high quality of ingredients and delicious food , charming atmosphere, very satisfied

26/12/2025: Terrible burger. Overcooked within an inch of its life. Completely wrong bread - crumbled and fell apart after one bite. Giant, thick cut pieces of cucumber on the burger with a terrible salad mix. Someone who has no interest or care has designed this burger and allowed it to be on the menu. Ruined experience as a result. Don’t waste your time or money on the place

09/08/2025: A quick visit, we were allowed to taste some wine by the glass. Not wines with particularly great intensity considering the price of 125 kr per glass, in terms of taste they disappeared immediately. The service was fine, but you felt that the clerk would rather be with his friends and pour wine for them...

01/04/2025: The guy working there gave us excellent service and was also very friendly. Definitely try the almonds he served because they are from spain and they are the best almonds for snacks. I spent 2-3 hours here as a tourist but if I lived in Copenhagen I would definitely be a regular here.

20/12/2025: First and last time I order from here. Ordered a pita bread menu, expecting to be full. To my shock, I quickly realize that the pita bread weighs almost nothing, and when I open it it looks like a pita bread that is on ozempic, and the meat had really been skimped on. If you want to be full, eat somewhere else.
