11/05/2025: I had been looking forward to a good meal, but the experience was unfortunately ruined by the behavior of the staff. The pizza chef seemed extremely passive-aggressive — small comments and a distinct lack of friendliness made the entire visit unpleasant. The food was mediocre at best, and when you are met with such a bad attitude, you completely lose the desire to come again. Unfortunately cannot recommend the place.

01/10/2025: I have been to the port wine bar in Kingosgade several times. Cozy place with a good atmosphere and a must if you like port wine.

17/08/2025: Ask for an introduction to Port wines and you won't be disappointed. Lucas is knowledgeable and great at explaining not just the tastes but the history of the product as well.

19/08/2025: We stumbled upon “Café Apropos” on the evening of the 18th — the grand finale of our 8-day Danish road trip. And I do mean stumbled: it was 9:30 PM, we were running late, and desperately hunting for something to feed the kid. The place looked stylish and vaguely Parisian, so we thought, “Why not?” Well… the confusion began with the menu and only got worse from there. If this was meant to be a Parisian bistro, someone forgot to tell the kitchen. The kids’ chicken? Marinated in a spicy sauce — because nothing says “child-friendly” like a surprise kick of heat. Once we realized that, we swapped it for a delightfully thin hamburger tucked inside a hollow bun. Gourmet minimalism, perhaps? Meanwhile, the “tapas plate” featured jalapeños, tortilla sauce, and a few mystery items that defied identification. And the “Parisian steak”? Oh dear. It was a dry hamburger (dear “chef,” ever heard of beef fillet?) perched on a slice of yesterday’s bread, surrounded by random vegetables that added nothing but confusion — and later, stomach drama I won’t detail here out of mercy. The one bright spot? Our waitress. Cheerful, friendly, and just as baffled as we were when the kitchen insisted, “Yes, the baby chicken is marinated in spicy sauce — but just a little spicy!” Final verdict: charming decor, baffling food, and a culinary identity crisis (yes, including pasta with chicken). Proceed with caution — or better yet, don’t.

26/10/2025: 5 stars all the way through. Sweet and friendly service, good food and then it's just cozy with a little entertainment in the form of beautiful singing from the waiters. Nice to have a restaurant with vegetarian alternatives that tasted really good.

25/09/2025: Super friendly service. We enjoyed the beer, but ordered mussels that were truly awful. Unfortunately, half the mussels weren't open. The chef even offered to make us a new pan. Very polite! We declined because the taste and quality were so disappointing. We received a discount at checkout. Again, very polite, but unfortunately, they cooked the wrong batch of mussels.

14/09/2025: Had bought a deal of 3 courses, it turned out that some of the courses had to be paid extra for. By the way, the caprise was inedible, it was covered in oil so it was returned, then the pizza came, both pizzas were cold and uncooked so that was also pointed out, at the same time there was something burning in the kitchen so the restaurant was smoky and they had to air it out, the toilet visit was also not nice, it was full of small flies out there, which also came into the restaurant, we ended up leaving without having eaten anything, but got the wine at half price....will not come again.
