18/10/2025: It's a huge gift to have Bings. The world's best rye bread, always delicious food and delicious drinks. And it's great that Bings hosts various events all year round.

03/08/2025: We actually wanted to eat fish, but since they were out of roach, we stopped at Magasasa. Even though it was busy, we received excellent service. Everything can be easily ordered from a small tray and comes very quickly. We were there with our three boys, and there was something for every taste. The food was fresh and authentically prepared. The service, and especially the manager, was extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you for everything. If we ever come back to Copenhagen, we will definitely come back.

29/07/2025: Ordered food for 3 people on the same order over the tablet, where one dish came at a time and then got cold before the next person got their food. It has to come at the same time when there are 3 of you eating together. The noodle dish consisted primarily of fat and tasted like cheese, really not delicious. Furthermore, vegetarian dishes are almost non-existent and the one ordered cost the same as with meat, but was the same dish just without meat and therefore tasteless.

28/06/2025: Small drinking place you can consider small gathering for 6-8 persons. But it can be noisy if full house 🤔🙄 We order the wine with their plate but staff told doesn’t have enough meat 😅 but they adjust for us , Nice !! Small toilet but nice 😬🤣 If you want cozy time, here is good choices !

26/08/2025: Estábamos cansados y paramos en este lugar encantador para el almuerzo. Sí, probablemente es una trampa turística en Nyhavn, pero teníamos dos buenos platos de smorrebrod (tenía carne asada con rábano picante) y un par de americanos. No necesitábamos cenar esa noche, ya que todavía estábamos llenos!

13/08/2025: ¿60 coronas Danesas (8 €) por una coca cero en un pub? Soy Danés y no es de extrañar que ningún lugareño visite esta trampa turística. Por favor, ve a otro lugar a menos que quieras que te froten.

22/10/2025: We visited this restaurant on a quiet afternoon when it was completely empty. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and the interior is absolutely beautiful — definitely one of the highlights. The food was decent overall. The pasta was quite disappointing, lacking any real flavor or character, but the burger and Caesar salad were both good and nicely presented. The service, however, felt a bit intrusive. Our waitress was overly eager and even brought us the bill without us asking, which came across as a bit too much. In summary, it’s a lovely place to sit and enjoy the setting, with decent food, but the experience could be improved with a bit more subtlety in the service.

13/10/2025: Now 3⭐️ for food would seem a little harsh. However, you price too high and my expectations need to follow. In real terms we had chicken & chips and surf & turf for over 1500 krone for four adults. When two were only drinking water. Now, the quantity was generous, the ingredients were very good quality, the cooking and flavours were great ... but why the 3⭐️? If you slow cook pork belly for over 12 hours and then make a 'gravy' to pour over halibut, you guessed it ... you just taste roast pork, which was delicious, but why throw in the texture of halibut. Very heavy on the salt too. Put the salt on the table, otherwise you can not truely taste the journey the food has had to endure. We also had chicken & chips .... very well cooked chicken, but there must have been a whole chicken skin fried on the plate too. The potato was fine shredded and deep fried until chocolate brown. Again very tasty, but why put crispy potato shreads into a pancake then cover with soggy chicken skin and gravy, you've got it, limp potato stodge. Again very tasty, but a texture you want teleporting somewhere else. The wine list was amazing, with champagne at 9800 krone a shot, that' some heavy weight diner they are expecting. When cold and raining, this is a nice place to have a quiet relaxed family meal. Our son has SEN and he had a fabulous night. We did not order dessert as ice cream and chocolate brownie would have probably turned up. Lot's of city folk eating here .... now I know how my pension pot skimmings are being spent. Don't over complicate and mix up the flavours, then you will be sure to be a 5⭐️ experience. Price was good value for the ingredients cooked and service given. The experience was not as good as Garden Vin which was the best evening meal we had in Copenhagen.

12/11/2025: Nice experience on most fronts, I just never got my last dish, but was allowed to pay for it. I have now written 2 emails to them without hearing back. Hence the review even though it is a nice place otherwise.

13/07/2025: I walked in and as soon as I did, I saw a controversial political opinion loudly in my face put up on the table so customers see it right as they walk in. This cafe clearly discriminates and judges anyone who they disagree with. A very divisive and fascist approach which excludes others. Just serve your coffee, pastries, and keep your judgmental opinions to yourself.

18/11/2025: There was a long line and their best bread was sold out. The sandwich was good, but it is too expensive to pay 7 kr. extra for each vegetable you choose. Really good service!

13/11/2025: Sandwiches look good on Insta. Too much and too chewy bread. Too little meat. This week you have to pay 20 kr extra for the sandwich of the week because there are 2-3 slices of Vesterhavsost in it - come on!

16/11/2025: The only one in Denmark who knows how to make cappuccinos, unfortunately the coffee isn't the best.

02/09/2025: There were 6 of us walking around Nyhavn and we were craving churros. I ordered 2 churros with chocolate and soft ice cream, 2 cups of Americano and a waffle plant. We paid 389 kr., and luckily I asked for a receipt. I discovered that I had been overcharged by 48 kr. When I asked about it, the staff just said it was a mistake. Be careful – always ask for a receipt, especially in the evening, so you can check the amount.

26/10/2025: It’s best to reserve a table in advance. I saw customers being ushered to outdoor seats (in the chilly 10°C weather) because the restaurant was fully booked. I enjoyed the flavorful lobster soup, which was the special dish of the day. My husband loved the open-faced roast beef sandwich—it was absolutely delectable—and the juicy IPA from Jacobsen. Our bill came to 1,029 DKK (about €140), and I highly recommend leaving a 10% tip for the hardworking and attentive waiting staff. It’s a lovely Danish tradition—the staff placed a small Danish flag on the table for us celebrating our birthdays. I had requested a window seat, and the staff graciously arranged it.

21/09/2025: Classic old-fashioned cozy lunch restaurant with great service and excellent open sandwiches😍 I have so many favorites on the menu but it's a really good overall experience. It's not cheap but considering the quality and location it's reasonable.
