17/08/2026: The decor is really cool and gives the place a unique character, and the atmosphere is lively. However, the air was heavily filled with cigarette smoke, which made the experience less pleasant. We only had one beer, as we found the prices quite expensive compared with other places in Copenhagen. Nice place for the atmosphere, but probably not somewhere we would return to.

23/09/2026: This is a traditioal Smørrebrød shop. The food is great, not fancy, but with good simple quality ingredients served with no pomp. Good food at a great price. Do not be put off by the modest exterior, if you work near by get here early for lunch as they sell out quick. If you are planning to see some local sites such as the botanic gardens stop here first and eat your lunch among the flowers.

14/08/2026: Featured in the Michelin Guide! 4.3 stars out of nearly 2,000 reviews. Expectations are sky-high, so...and instead: 1. They serve us chilled wine 2. They bring the wine to the table already opened 3. The wait between endless courses 4. They clear the tables even after 30 minutes 5. Suddenly, the entire place is more focused on the people coming to drink, and they even turn up the music 6. The quality of the food is good, but not excellent by any means. 7. Prices are high, like all of Copenhagen. But there are much better value for money. For me, it's a definite NO!

08/10/2026: I had a very unpleasant experience at Café Europa, where the waiter's behavior seemed completely out of proportion. Upon arrival, I was asked if I wanted to sit by the window, which I accepted. The waiter cleared a table, but since the seat was right up against a post, I couldn't see out. So I moved to the table next to it. The waiter came over and said that the table was dirty and asked me to move back. I explained that I wanted to stay seated because I could see out. Another guest came in, and I understood that the table was intended for him. However, he said that it was perfectly fine for me to stay seated, and took the other table himself. So I thought the situation was resolved. Afterwards, I experienced that the waiter gave me very hostile looks several times. Finally, I asked if there was a problem and said that I could leave. He didn't answer. When I finished, I waited for service, but eventually had to go up to the counter to pay. The waiter entered the amount and handed over a receipt without making eye contact or saying a word. Only when I asked if the receipt was mine did he briefly say yes. I left feeling unwelcome. A minor situation regarding a seat should have been resolved in a friendly and professional manner. The treatment I experienced was neither respectful nor acceptable

06/10/2026: "A Cozy Cafe Discovery" Since it was featured in the Japanese guidebook "Chikyu no Arukikata (Globe-Trotter)", we visited without a reservation. Just as its reputation promised, it was a cozy cafe with delicious food, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

12/07/2026: Shut up, it's rare that I'm so impressed by restaurants. But I really was when I visited Kebab House. It's always tip top clean and delicious in there and where he cooks the food is also completely clean. Their German kebab and bowl are what I can recommend the most and I think they are top 3 places in Copenhagen to eat kebab. They are both absolutely full of flavor and good dressings. The guy who owns the place is super sweet and really does a great job keeping the place clean and making good food Shut up, I'm grateful that I live so close so I can just eat there often.

05/06/2026: This is a staff canteen that happens to be open to the public too… some people might take a quick glance and wonder to themselves if they’ve seen you at work before, but otherwise the service staff is so warm and friendly. The food is top notch - super fresh, thoughtfully prepared and just plain satisfying. Absolutely worth the detour.

17/10/2026: Really disappointed with my pepperoni pizza. There were 9 of us who had to have food, and of course it takes time to make. However, you should keep the food warm until everything is made and delivered. My pizza was cold so the cheese was no longer melted, the pepperoni was not distributed properly, so some slices were without pepperoni. The pizza was also not cut properly. The fries were pale yellow, cold and had not had enough. A pretty bad experience unfortunately.

30/06/2026: Super short wait time. Super well prepared food and super service. Somfuglen is right up there as our favorite place to eat. You can't go wrong with the lunch buffet and Stjerneskud for lunch.
