24/11/2025: Vandkunsten Sandwich has become one of my regular places when I'm in the area. The sandwiches taste good, the ingredients are fresh, and you get a decent sized sandwich. Unlike Joe & The Juice, you actually leave feeling full — here you get value for your money. The bread is usually really good, and the portions are perfect for a good lunch. The staff is friendly and works quickly, even when it's busy. I've experienced a few times that there can be a bit of a wait, but the quality is consistent, and that's why I keep coming back. All in all, a really good place if you want a good, solid sandwich without all the excess — just honest food that actually fills you up.

29/09/2025: We were preparing for a great family dinner, for which I had reserved a table online in advance. Unfortunately, we were faced with the fact that the place was full and the staff didn't even see my reservation in their system, which I had received two confirmations about by email. Although the staff was nice, it was surprising to us that they didn't even offer us the option to sit on the terrace, which was otherwise empty. So unfortunately I can't write an opinion about the food. I sincerely regret that it turned out this way. So that others don't have such an unpleasant surprise in the future, I suggest you look into how you can mistakenly reserve a table through your website. All the best!

28/09/2025: After eating here (my worst meal out of 3 days in Copenhagen), feel like this is a kitchen that does not care about the food they serve. had the "Big Yes-Hat" menu, which sounded like a good way to try a variety of dishes, but it ended up being a letdown. The snacks were fine, good bread, the prawns, salmon, and steak bites were decent, but everything after that felt rushed and poorly thought out. The salads had very simple flavour profiles and forgettable. One of them was literally green beans with broken crackers on top, presented in a tin. Poor presentation. A few minutes later, all the main dishes arrived at once, which felt chaotic and way too much food at once. The mussels were also questionable, many were barely open (a crack and I had to pry them open with my hands) and when I asked the server, she said the kitchen hand-checks them. Well. Not really a high standard considering the high price. The cauliflower dish I couldn't tell was baked, it was so soft and almost mushy it seamed over-steamed. The pork and puree was okay, but it also felt like a very simple taste and not what I would expect from a rather refined restaurant. Servers were nice but I had empty glass on my table and one of them didn't check in til later, even after clearing dishes and noticing empty glass. For 478 DKK per person, it felt way too expensive for what you get. I had much better meals the following two days at much cheaper prices. Oh and the trifle was also just okay, wayyy too much jam. I'd prefer quality over quantity, this was too much quantity and uncohesive and poor quality.

06/06/2025: I found this place on the Coffee Trip app. It was super convenient being near our hotel. Even better was the wonderful staff and atmosphere of the cafe. The coffee was delightful, we had the flat white and a plan black coffee. The pastries are delicious!! Try the almond croissant and the cinnamon roll.

20/01/2025: Very simple and easy to go to, with a few dishes to choose from at ok prices - cozy inside the Tivoli food hall. Deal at half price super nice, but not a place that is out of the ordinary at the normal prices, but outstanding and with accessories you can wear yourself.

27/08/2025: Nice art gallery, with changing exhibitions. The one we saw was several artists, one of which was a Swedish painter of high quality. While the rest was old industrial waste and cheese chips on the windowsill, it was hard to see the amazingness in this.

20/12/2025: Really bad experience. Had to wait 45 min to get our table, several items from the menu were sold out and service generally did not live up to expectations. Maison seems outdated, needs an update!

18/10/2025: The food is insanely delicious! You must try the anchovy toast, the perfect steak, and the scallion salad. The service is supremely professional...the prices are fair for the quality of the dishes. Anyone coming to Copenhagen cannot miss it.

12/12/2025: The service is just top notch at Mynte Thai and the food is good. I have been there several times on Fridays and they have the same sweet waiter. I stopped by today to order take away. Unfortunately the order was wrong and had to come back. But they were quick to fix the mistake and the sweet waiter made sure I left with a smile and a good experience. A clear recommendation from here if you want good service and delicious Thai food.

11/12/2025: Cozy place Good service The food is AMAZINGLY delicious with fresh ingredients. We started with soups and then main courses. There was plenty of food, 3 people could easily have 2 main courses.

07/04/2026: If you're tired of milk ice cream that tastes like everywhere else, stop by Kødbyens Is and experience what ice cream can taste like! Homemade, high quality, friendly service. Worth the money!

05/04/2026: Without a doubt the most shawarma-filled durum I've ever had in Copenhagen! Stop there was a lot of meat in it! In addition, I was allowed to take a free soda with me from the sweet employees. Mega cool experience, highly recommended. My go-to from now on!

19/12/2025: The worst, soggy pizza I've ever had. Oh my, it was covered in a thick soggy mozzarella, totally dry, nothing to do with a Pizza and absolutely no taste. It went straight into the bin along with an equally bad calzone. Never again will I eat from this place, amazing that they haven't learned from all the negative reviews???

05/10/2025: Even though I haven't lived on Øen (as Ama'r is called among the locals and other well-to-do people) or in Denmark for many years, Cafe 5-Øren is still my regular pub 😊 good prices, nice (regular) guests and chatty staff. Incidentally, also a meeting place before and after Fremad Amager's first-team senior matches.
