22/10/2024: Then it's tried, and some things you only need to try once. Was going to the theater to celebrate my mother's birthday, as you have to confirm the reservation I note this, the flag never really arrived. The waiter seemed new, but in general the service was to be overlooked - we had to wait 30 min for the starter and between starter and main course 45 min, my mother had to start with the main course which meant she waited for food 1.5 hours from the time we sat down, so we had to snack on bread - both ours and the neighboring table had to actively ask for refills. The restaurant was in no way filled more than it should have been, so an excuse that the kitchen is extremely busy sounds like a structural and capacity-related problem, and a poor excuse. The entertainment that you have heard of down singing, seemed completely off as their hearing - in the middle of exuberant albeit hungry conversation, young voices begin to sing, which interrupts everything social - it had been lively good performances fair enough, but it was more like a kindergarten set up in a backyard and in no way contributed anything other than polite indulgent smiles. The food, was genderless and misrepresented, soft croutons, chewy tartar, dry pork jowls, a sensible baked salmon but without any spice or flavor - all parts doused with a sauce reminiscent of something poured from a supermarket box after a trip to the tepid microwave oven. As the icing on the cake, the red wine was served at a warm room temperature. Now it's tried, it won't be a return visit or a recommendation to others. However, the performance was absolutely exceptional, scenography, choreography and singing voices in absolute Danish top class.

29/10/2024: Really unpleasant behavior of employee. I have been to the bodega a few times before but will never go back. Around 00:00 on Friday, me and my friend had to pee before a long bike ride to Brønshøj. We had just been to a comedy show and were not drunk but wanted to end the evening with a bottle of beer. My friend goes in to pee, but while I'm waiting for her there is a lady with long dark brown hair sitting at the table by the toilet, who starts to look away from me while saying loudly "I'm tired of little girls coming here" and uses the toilet”. She herself also says she works here and is not at work right now, but she says I have to go. I apologize and say we just really had to pee and would like to buy a beer afterwards. However, we don't get the chance to do that because she then gets up and says "I hate little girls like you", and starts pushing/pulling me out by my jacket. My friend comes out of the toilet and we leave, but I'm still pretty dumbfounded by this citation and have never experienced such an unwelcome behavior.

16/11/2024: After waiting around twenty minutes in the evening outside in the cold, the cook told us that the kitchen closed at 9 p.m., it was 8:30 p.m. and we were refused entry...

20/07/2024: I stayed here Sunday - Monday in early July on the last night of a 12 day Scandinavian trip. I stayed at Nobis hotel in Stockholm previously and was a little nervous because I didn't enjoy that experience. I was initially drawn to this property as Marriott rewards member. We stayed at another hotel during our three nights in Copenhagen earlier in the trip. This night was just a lay over for our flight back home to New York. I thought the hotel was beautiful. The service and attitude of everyone there was great. I booked the superior loft roof and it felt pretty spacious. When I booked the room back in April, it was about $460 per night. The hotel is centrally located in that is pretty close to the main train station but the immediate neighborhood around the hotel feels like a bit a dead zone; however, it is not a far walk to get to a more livelier area. I went to the hotel restaurant for dinner around 745pm. The restaurant was dead and almost nothing was available on their menu. I had the Caesar salad which fine but certainly not worthy of the price. Overall, I thought my room was nice and I enjoyed the hotel better than Nobis in Stockholm. I'd stay here again if visiting Copenhagen and I would recommend it.

17/07/2024: The furnishings are nice, and the staff is friendly. However, the lofted rooms are deceptively small. You can see from the photos that the bathroom is maybe 2 square meters. Also, a solid third of the room is unusable because the roof slopes down, and there's this giant box. If this were half the price, it would be acceptable, but at $500/night, this room is terrible. The other rooms looked great from what I can tell, so I'd avoid the lofted rooms if possible. Also it seems like a lot of flies migrate up to the higher lofted floors. The icing on the cake is that they don't honor Bonvoy benefits. They say they are not a Marriott property when you ask for them but are listed on the Bonvoy site; hence they benefit from patrons like us who book there because we expect the loyalty benefits.

17/08/2024: Ordered 2 pizzas also it gives me the wrong one and says it's my fault. They wouldn't make what I ordered and told me to take the wrong order. The quality of the food has also really gone down!

04/11/2024: Nice cosy hotel. The rooms are small but the staffs goes out of the way to make you feels welcome. We have sudden change in our schedule and have to leave the hotel early. Breakfast starts at 7am we spoke to reception and they accommodate us to eat early at 6:30am Their happy hour at 5-6pm was fantastic. You can have free wines free of charge. Very different hotel but would definitely come again.

30/10/2024: Hotel very well located in the city center. Very good welcome and service (very complete breakfast) but rooms much too small to stay 2 nights with family. 2 by 5 meters, the bed is at the back of the room under the window, without being able to get around it and the toilet sink is in the room. No photo let us imagine this configuration. Damage!

04/11/2024: Very good bakery, the ice cream coffees are very good and the pastries too. Small downside (maybe it's just me), but I paid an additional tax as a foreign card (while I paid with Revolut)

03/11/2024: Hang in there, what a poor experience that was. Over the years, I have often visited Bagt in Hornbæk and in Gilleleje, and this was a completely different bad experience. The worst Pain de Chocolat I can remember (think taste a la bake-off overnight in a fridge), thin coffee, and a shabby interior. I did not get to know the operator (others did).
