28/02/2026: We went for dinner with my husband, and it was one of the nicest experiences we’ve had. Everything was excellent! From the food to the wine. All the recommendations from Maxi were perfect! He was fun, kind, and really knowledgeable, guiding us through what we should try. I highly recommend this place and their wines. Maxi will help you choose the perfect options and make your experience even better. I will definitively come again soon !

04/08/2026: Terrible service. Waited over 25 min for a baguette and when I asked information about, they told me they forgot about my order. Received a insincere apologies. Do not recommend, overpriced and low quality.

28/07/2026: They are very friendly, I don't understand why they received such low ratings. I ordered a classic morning plate and an iced coffee and paid 139 Kr, and they tasted very good. If you want a basic Danish breakfast in a quiet setting, I think you can come here.

03/08/2026: We have just visited Copenhagen for four days , family of four with two teenagers who usually crave chicken burgers. We ate dinner here twice as the food and service were lovely we had to return. We stayed in Brygge area at hotel Brygge guldsmeden. Cafe Alma is a few minutes walk along clean safe streets. We were served by Gustav and Soren who are excellent danish hosts with perfect English. All of our dishes were super, children ate steaks rare and med rare , and other night Caesar salads, my vegan wife enjoyed the veggie burgers although other options available. I had steak tartare as a main and on second visit the hake which was super. Gustav mixed a lively G&T. Seating inside is good as is outside on street with very warm wall heaters or blankets. Staff setting and service great. Chef clearly knows his dish strengths. Make a visit for lunch or evening meal if you stay on east side of the city.

27/06/2026: Hidden gem. Surprisingly good food, highly recommend chicken salad Smørrebrød, Caesar salad and affogato. Can only guess rest of menu is also delicious. The Ukrainian waitress was wonderful and friendly. Definitely going back if have the chance!

16/05/2026: Lovely stay with our little one. No kettle in the room (used to it in the UK rooms :-) ). Clean, friendly staff, delicious meals and good breakfast choices.

06/05/2026: There are not enough parking spaces at the hotel, so if you arrive only in the evening, it can be difficult to find a space. The lack of air con. Paid parking has been added since I was last here, so another minus is that you have to pay 131 kr. / day 🤬

03/05/2026: I've been coming here for years and it's always been the best place in town. Open until 3am on weekdays and 5am on weekends and despite that still the crispiest fries and good kebab. Plus the staff are always in a good mood and welcoming. Spice is the best.

24/06/2026: Super good pizza - got it with starling salami and nduja. The place is highly recommended!

12/06/2026: Nice and rustic restaurant. We ordered Dubrovnik meat skewer Sablja (no. 26) and Gypsy schnitzel (dish no. 23B). The food was very good and tasty in its simplicity. The meat on the skewer was well cooked and tender.

03/08/2026: Had a 3 course menu. Scallops for starter, chicken with greens and parsley potatoes and strawberries with ice cream for dessert. Super nice service, good atmosphere and great view. Too bad our parsley potatoes were undercooked and inedible. It's not what you associate with a gourmet restaurant. Didn't get a picture of the dessert.

27/07/2026: It surprise me for the atmosphere there as the view is so nice as you can see all boats moving slowly with nice weather. It was not busy at all there and very quiet and able to enjoy very much the good time. Staff is a very sweet girl and cheerful at all. Good service Food — we order seafood set and can’t believe how much food they offer. Seafood plate - oyster are really good, shrimp & crab is ok and scallops fresh, but the sauce they put aside is very so so. Lobster hot dog is surprising Good ! Price is fair for the portion as well as good quality Highly recommend especially for summer time

22/10/2025: Really delicious food and really good service! The only downside was that it was way too hot and there was a lot of noise when the restaurant first filled up.

23/08/2025: Lovely atmosphere and ridiculously limited and meager food. 5 pasta dishes with oil and garlic. 4 people, total 150 euros. Ridiculously expensive and we left hungry. Move on quickly. The waitress explained to us that that's how it is in Italy. We laughed. We're Italian and we had a good laugh and ran off to find something else to eat afterward. I absolutely do not recommend it. Infernal noise. Catastrophic evening.

18/07/2026: We were there for the 120th birthday and for the owner Adam's 50th birthday, lovely atmosphere and nice people to take good care of us all. Definitely a fantastic place to experience 'The Brown Tavern' again 👍

04/07/2026: Now it's not exactly my area but I'm willing to do anything, stopped by when I was driving home after a trip to Farum when I was at the Danish dog breeding championship, my bred Czech/Slovenian wolfhound just won it all, I'm super proud of... myself of course, so I just thought I could celebrate with a walk in the city after dropping the dogs off at Mogens "the breeder" Olsen so he could look after them, but yes a lovely old friend that I've known for a long time. We met when we both started breeding dogs so yes many memories, but yes what a place, filled the whole bar with beer bottles, so yes a cool place

25/08/2026: Have been there before. This time we had a deal/special. Before and now prices should be taken with a grain of salt...you get 10 servings and if you order 10 dishes from the menu the quantity would correspond to what we were served for 2 people. But if we add up the prices it corresponds to the offer we paid for 2. So really no savings. We also ordered a bottle of wine and tap water..tap water for 2 totaling 140 kr. When I mentioned that I had never paid that for water before. (It is also not clear from the menu what tap water costs.) I was told by the waiter that it was because I had a deal/special. Said that I was surprised and then the owner came, I think it is, and said that it was of course a mistake and was given 100 kr in my hand. Is a nice place, but will not come again after this experience.

08/08/2026: Was there on a deal. Everything was fine, but nothing was wow. The waitress said we just had to ask if we wanted more bread. She forgot to say it would cost extra though..

26/07/2026: A fairly widespread chain of stores in Copenhagen: I'd previously visited another store in a shopping mall (I don't remember the name). The decor is standard, and the food and beverage selection is equally standard. The quality of the drinks is good: I particularly enjoyed the freshly prepared fruit juice (you can choose from various fruit combinations). There's no table service, but the food and beverage reservation and delivery process is very efficient and streamlined. The staff is very friendly.

24/07/2026: Staff made the wrong drink and refused to change. Avoid.

04/06/2026: Good rooms for a short stay, but a bit dark.
