15/05/2025: D'un mepris sans nom de la part du personnel, le jeune à la caisse nous a prit de haut + on me sert un café sans sucre, je demande du sucre mais sans cuillère. Pas grand chose mais c'est une mauvais expérience.

13/05/2025: Two gifts and a good coffee Some mornings you wake up in a hotel and think: “No thanks to the buffet – I want a café!” It was one such morning in Aalborg. Fortunately, I had heard a bird had sung about Café Penny – that it was perhaps the very best café in Aalborg. And that is saying a lot. Because in this city, where competition between cafés, pubs and restaurants is fierce, it takes something special to stand out. You have to know your craft. Have your own bakery. Serve your own cakes. And you have to put emphasis on service, atmosphere and genuine presence. I found all that – and more – at Penny. At Penny, they bake their own cakes, have genuine smiles, and the coffee tastes as if someone has taken good care of the beans. The brunch plate was a gift in itself – but then the unexpected happened: The door opened, and in came Kirsten, my colleague for 40 years in the air. Wing to wing, now side by side at the café table. Two gifts in one Monday. I'm not complaining.

24/04/2025: Plenty of parking, a very extensive selection, only a bit crowded at peak times. Typical Danish prices.

09/04/2025: Nice and wide range. There are a lot of beautiful things here that you can't get in Germany. Then I had to strike. I also liked that there are self-service checkouts.

20/12/2024: I am very disappointed about it, I ordered some sushi, I got 4 pieces which were wrong and the other six pieces were also wrong😡 I tried to call in there but they didn't understand what I meant even though I tried to explain them in English, but they didn't understand what I meant😡 really bad service!

18/12/2024: Dejlig 3 retters + Hors d'œuvre afstemt juletiden Forret: Let tørret og let røget laks med rigtig god saltbalance mellem tilbehøret og fisken Hovedretten: Fantastisk confit de canard med anis noter og rigeligt garniture. 2 vine ledsagede hovedretten, en spændende rød med fylde, bouquet og charme og en hvid med stærk note af petroleum. Perfekt til retten Desserten: gæsten var nu mæt, grundet rigelig garniture og vin i hovedretten ! :) Ris á la mande med sorbet og nøddetop. Tak for en mega spændende mad- og vinoplevelse. På gensyn. Hvor er I dygtige!

30/05/2025: Fantastic lovely stay with the sweetest and friendliest hosts. The clamping tent was wonderful and equipped with a lovely double bed. The duvet was warm and cosy and there were all the necessary amenities. Headlamp, heater, wine glasses etc etc. The breakfast was also 5 stars. It was so beautifully presented and nothing was missing. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will definitely be back again.

10/04/2025: Best pizza in Øgadekvarteret! The dough and flour used for the pizza is really good, there is not a bite that felt disappointing. They serve quite a few pizzas with higher quality ingredients that come from Italy. Have eaten 3 different of their pizzas over the last few days and they are all really good. They use olive oil and better cheese on their pizza, it makes a big difference. The quality of their pizza has been really good for the last 2-3 years since the pizzeria opened. Pizzas I will buy again: 4. Prosciutto 5. Bresaola 7. Parma 10. Filetto di manzo 13. Greco Pizzas I won't buy again: 11. Pepperoni 12. Diablo

25/04/2025: Fantastic cozy place with good service, Havs has built by Nørlev Strand, with a huge terrace area for children and adults! Stopped by on Easter 25 and will definitely come again.

28/04/2025: Delicious and very well topped pizzas. We didn't have to wait long for our food. We had the pizzas O' Solo Mio, Nico and Parma Special. Decent prices. There was a television that was on, but we would have preferred some pleasant music. Would love to come back again.

12/06/2025: Hyggelig restaurant med ude servering . Hurtig og meget venlig betjening , vores to frokost retter kom hurtigt , selv hunden fik en skål vand samt lidt snack Vi hade en super oplevelse

11/05/2025: Fantastisk lækker buffet med alt man kan ønske sig til en brunch og lækre råvarer. Dertil fri dejlig kaffe og flere slags juice lemonade. Betjeningen var søg og uhøjtidlig og køreturen helt fra Skanderborg var hele brunchen værd.
