15/02/2026: Super delicious food. The steak was cooked perfectly and buttery tender. Delicious side dishes. Will definitely come again.

14/02/2026: The unconventional shooting star (fried fillet, hot smoked salmon, soy marinated tuna) is highly recommended, the dessert was pretzels, not usually one of my favorites, but very delicious when served warm here on site.

11/10/2025: Amazingly good food in a cosy setting. We went for the 5-course and were simply blown away by each one. Special thanks also goes to the friendly and attentive crew who served and impressed us. Give this chef and restaurant its star already, Michelin!

11/10/2025: 🦞Really delicious! 🦞 🦞 Lobster Evening 2025 🦞 For many, one of the many favorites of the sea! 🦞 That's why we have created an evening where we pay tribute to the lobster 🥳 This is expressed by an evening with the lobster in focus 🦞🤩 We start with 3 snacks with lobster and a nice glass of Champagne “Origin” from the house of Coutelas 🥂🍾 - Then the evening is off to a good start 🥳 Following this, a 5-course menu: 🌺 Lobster tartare with lime leaves & rose hips 🌭 “Lobsterdog” 🥣 Lobster soup with fish, garlic & grilled bread 🦞 Black lobster Wellington 🌿 Raspberries & herbs Inc. Champagne & customized wine/juice menu The whole molevitten for 1200,- (That's cheap😅) The evening starts at 6:00 PM and ends when we're done 🙂 Absolutely fantastic menu, atmosphere and service! 21/12/2025: Disappointing experience on 12/20 at 5:30 PM (they didn't close until 7 PM) My husband, our son and I have been Christmas shopping and then decide to end the day by going in and getting mulled wine and apple slices at Penny Lane on Boulevarden. When we enter we are greeted by sweet and smiling staff. We are directed to a table and we place an order. My son gets a raspberry slice and a hot cocoa. My husband and I get our mulled wine. We sit patiently and when 15 minutes have passed I ask if our apple slices are on their way soon. - they are not homemade apple slices so that is not what is causing the wait. The girl at the counter says that they are on their way. Another 5 minutes pass and we are seated so that we can look directly into their kitchen where the food is being prepared. We can't see a shadow of the apple slices there. There is a good atmosphere among the staff, they laugh, eat bread and actually seem quite indifferent to us and that we have been waiting so long. There were a maximum of 10-15 customers in the store and four at work, so it was not because of busyness. I go up again and approach the staff, and only then does she come in more directly and ask where our apple slices are going. They have apparently forgotten a timer on the oven so they were burnt, I was told. Only then do they get the freezer bag with apple slices and heat them up. I ask for two new mulled wine as these have become cold, which we also get - we had hardly drunk the ones we returned. At 6:10 pm what we have ordered finally arrives, but what was supposed to be pleasant actually ended up with us being irritated and frustrated and actually just wanting to leave. The young man who took our order said he was sorry for the wait. We left, and there was no goodbye or anything like that. I have had a shop in Aalborg for more than 13 years, and I generally don't like people reporting via such platforms as it can unjustifiably harm a company, but I'm fine with this. I was in the café as late as the day before Friday morning eating breakfast with a friend. We do this often. There has been nothing to complain about. However, we have agreed that we will take a break from Penny Lane for the time being.

22/12/2025: Foodies, listen up! We were traveling in Denmark again and looking for a good restaurant. My father-in-law said, "I saw something in Blokhus—a fish buffet." My immediate thought was: Fish + buffet = I'm in! So, on a Friday evening, we went there for the dinner buffet. We received a very warm welcome at the door—as it turned out, from the owner himself. He asked if we wanted to eat from the buffet, and when we agreed, he showed us around the restaurant and explained everything to us at length. The buffet consisted of a cold section, hot dishes, and a selection of desserts. Afterward, he showed us to a cozy table—even though we hadn't made a reservation and the restaurant was getting quite full. What was especially nice was that most of the guests were locals, which is always a good sign. Apparently, it's a real hidden gem! The buffets were all very extensive and left nothing to be desired. Everything was fresh, attractively presented, and constantly replenished. The staff were consistently attentive, friendly, and well-organized. The entire restaurant was very clean and well-maintained – as were the staff and the restrooms. It was particularly impressive that the buffet still looked as if it had just been set up, even though there had been many guests before and after us. And best of all: all this at a very fair price. We will definitely be back!

05/12/2025: Fantastic evening right from the start with a nice reception by the waiter, introduction to the large buffet, and the two waiters were fantastically service-minded. The food was incredibly delicious, varied and beautifully presented.

12/02/2026: This is one of the best grocery stores in all of Denmark. An incredibly large selection. Wonderful delicatessen counter with knowledgeable staff. Cheap. Large parking lot. Very large dog park nearby.

16/11/2025: How amazing was that?! A restaurant located right on the beach/landing site – the ambiance alone made it unbeatable. Enjoying freshly caught plaice fillet with whole-wheat bread in the midday sun – incredibly delicious – pure holiday bliss!
