15/10/2025: Sunday brunch at Steenbergs.👨‍🍳 Cozy hotel with a nice view of the square and the harbor. Nice selection of homemade buns and sourdough rye bread. Cold cuts from the local butcher. Nice selection of warm dishes. Thise butter and cheeses.🧀 Delicious cake and fresh fruit. 🍇 ☕️Coffee tea and juice. homemade juice. Smiling and skilled staff.

16/09/2025: Special. Renovated old building on the harbor. Comfortable, excellent breakfast. Since the building is very old, the ceilings are low.

22/11/2025: Beautiful and cozy restaurant. We had some really nice pizzas and everything was as it should be.

20/11/2025: Great for beer and pizza. This is my second time here in three months for Italian food. The food is good, perfect for a meal or a chat. The atmosphere is great. Highly recommended!

26/10/2025: Nice food, but there was a lot of variation in the garnish. Some got root vegetable chips on the soup, simple was missing serrano ham, some were missing mustard seeds, others got 5 slices of meat while others got 2. Some potatoes were just enough while others were perfect. But it tasted good. There was just a lot of variation in the dishes.

15/10/2025: This is how they ruined a 40th birthday… 😢🇩🇰 We had reserved a table well in advance and were looking forward to a nice lunch – but when we arrived, our table had been given away to someone else. The waitress just looked down at her computer and said: “I see your reservation, but your table has been given away.” No apology. No solution. No respect. A table was left in the middle of the chaos – perfect if you love noise, passing guests and the feeling of being a decoration. We left instead. It wasn’t the 40th birthday present we had hoped for. But considering the level of service, we didn’t dare ask them to wrap it up – it had probably gone to someone else anyway.

14/10/2025: This place is fantastic! No less. I have been to a lot of steakhouses around the world. They know what they are working with at Amalies. Great service from staff, cosy atmosphere - and most importantly - well prepared meat in solid quality. Grilled over flaming coal and served with a smile and local craft beer. Definitely recommended!

30/09/2025: The service is nice, but the place has seen better days. The rooms could do with an upgrade. The training faciliteter are great, though.

11/09/2025: Nice relaxed atmosphere, no forced music and good, not worn out machines. Several activities all in one place. For example, swimming pool and paddle.

08/07/2025: We had ordered beef steaks with side dishes. I'm sure it wasn't beef steak but a flat-cut veal schnitzel. The taste was okay and we were hungry so we ate it but when you pay for a steak, that's what you expect.

19/10/2024: Food was very nicely cooked, with good quality, fresh ingredients. Staff is nice and discreet. The venue was a bit dirty (for Danish standards) and had no nappy changing table. The toilet was overall clean except for the door handle. The venue looked a bit neglected, though it was tidy. I found it overpriced, and the worst thing is that the charged us 20 DKK for tap water for a child, despite we took some of the most expensive food on the menu, and I had already been charged for the same tap water. I consider it taking advantage of tourists, which is not nice at all and won't make me go back there nor recommend it.

26/08/2024: Skuffende… Rødspætte filen, var skamstegt, “sovsen” var mega sur og løgene var rå 😕 Kvalefilen tja den havde også fået rigeligt, ingen spurgte hvordan den skulle steges. Der kom et par ind med hund, og det er åbenbart helt okay, tjenerne var endda over at give god bider til hunden.

02/10/2025: I had a very good experience at Airport Hotel Aalborg. The staff was friendly, the service excellent, and the stay very comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone traveling through Aalborg.

02/10/2025: I advise against booking this hotel for corporate travelers. I made a mistake by choosing this place, as the experience was quite disappointing. The hotel staff does not clean the rooms regularly, and if you require housekeeping, you have to pay extra fees. The rooms have an overall feel reminiscent of a hostel, especially with wires hanging openly above the beds and unappealing. When I booked, I was expecting standard-sized beds for adults, but I was given two small beds more suitable for teenagers. The blankets provided are so short that I was unable to cover myself properly, making for a very uncomfortable stay. Overall, it was a pathetic experience, and I will never stay here again. I stayed because all other city hotels were fully booked, and I paid approximately £30 to travel each way by Uber into the city. The location is inconvenient nothing nearby. Secondly the skylouge is a joke. I expect I could have some drinks so I took a colleague to have a drink but when I reached it's just an empty place with sofas for a smoke. No service.

11/01/2025: Jag var färdig med museet och tänkte ta en öl i väntan på familjen skulle bli klara. Fick vet av en i personalen att restaurangen var på väg att stänga men fick ändå köpa en öl (i plastglas) och ta med ut på terrassen vilket var vänligt och tillmötesgående av dem.

13/10/2025: First time I've been here since I'm not from the area. Super good takeaway pizza 🤪My favorite pizza no. 34 with a little chili and garlic. Will definitely order again if I'm passing by. 😊 Went in and ordered and waited 15 minutes.
