04/01/2025: Nice hotel. Pool area good. Heated pool and spa. Big Sauna. Rooms are simple and ordinary. Beds very good.

03/01/2025: A very nice hotel on the outskirts of Skagen. Very quiet location. There are enough parking spaces, there is a train stop nearby, which takes you easily to the center of Skagen, and it is also within walking distance. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar. The rooms are large and spacious and clean. The wellness area is particularly nice with a sauna, a whirlpool and a swimming pool. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is Scandinavian, international and very tasty. I'd love to come back there. -Tak for the holiday.-

07/06/2025: Nice cozy restaurant, good prices and good food. But it can also feel a bit claustrophobic due to its small size. I would still reccomend.

20/04/2025: Absolute "top pick" in Aalborg! EVERYTHING on the menu is super delicious and prepared quickly, as soon as you order. The sushi is world class and in a completely different league than any other! The staff is very friendly, polite and accommodating. And it's definitely not an expensive place! Biggest recommendation from here. My absolute favorite restaurant now!!! Everyone I have recommended the place to says the same thing.

29/05/2025: Couple dinner with my wife. We like to eat fish but especially to eat fish without adding other flavors. So this evening we had dinner with excellent Halibut and vegetables. A delicate saffron sauce accompanied the dish. Excellent value for money. Professional and attentive to customer needs also the reception service. Well done

23/08/2024: We went in for dinner last night and had the most wonderful food and wine! The staff includes themselves in their guests, we felt very welcome. It's like you step into a time warp and it's just done from top to toe. Easy to get to if you're on the train. We'll be back! Regards, Mikkel, Betina and Signe

18/08/2024: Absolutely fantastic little hotel! Run by a couple and their daughter, and everything is very familiar and nice. For example, we were sitting in the living room in the evening and the owner came in and said that they were going to bed now, but that we were welcome to stay. Then she showed us where to turn off the lights and asked us to blow out the candles before we left. The food was delicious and traditionally Danish - for breakfast you got a personal small plate of scrambled eggs and bacon that they cooked to order (in addition to the breakfast buffet itself). Dinner consisted of the best fried plaice I have ever eaten, with traditional side dishes. The rooms were just okay, but the atmosphere and the experience overall make it a definite five! It was like stepping into the Badhotellet from the TV series, but with 70s decor. Highly recommend!

10/05/2025: Very nice hosts, very attentive. German-speaking and hard-working. You can pay in euros (cash) or by card. The prices are reasonable, the food is plentiful. We ate burgers with a good portion of fries and shared a crab salad. The name Krabbensalatn is absolutely justified because there are more crabs than you are used to in Germany. Lots more crabs. Everything was very tasty. Since the two (presumed owners) run the shop alone, it may take a little longer the busier it gets. But that should be understandable. We felt comfortable and enjoyed the visit. It was nice to be able to sit outside near the beach. Locals kept coming to get food to take home, which also speaks for the restaurant. A little tip: leave some room in your stomach, because next door at Cafe Karlsson there is a huge ice cream to take away for dessert. Also very worthwhile. *Update 05/25 Apparently there are new owners. Still very nice. However, the food has diminished. My steak was by no means medium rare and the whiskey sauce was very familiar. So not homemade.

28/04/2025: I’ve attended DGI Huset Nordkraft for almost three years but have decided to cancel my monthly subscription. Mostly, this is because there are not enough good yoga classes; most of them are not very challenging, and I don't enjoy the instructors' approach. I have also attended other classes such as cycling, Zumba, Pilates, etc. They are all good, but not exactly my favorite way of exercising. The place itself is in need of renovation, as well as new equipment. However, the price is good for what you get ☺️

30/05/2025: The first thing I have to write is that in April we were at CafeVores. It was my boyfriend's birthday. We mentioned it and were given the Danish flag, and my boyfriend didn't have to pay for his meal. Today we were at CafeVores again and I had visitors from Germany: my sister. It's her birthday today, May 30th, and I had the idea... let's go out for a nice meal. We've always enjoyed it so many times. And now here's the thing... I told them it was my sister's birthday, and the waitress wished her congratulations, and also brought the Danish flag to her table. Everything was lovely; we were in the birthday mood. Then the boss came into the restaurant, and I said to my sister, "He's a very friendly man." Today I was so disappointed. I wanted to pay, and the waitress pointed out that we hadn't made a table reservation for her birthday and that we would have to pay in full, which meant everything. I asked, "When did that start?" She replied, "Always." Then the discussion began. I was shown the menu (see attachment), and it said...! Please read it yourself...! It doesn't make it clear that a binding reservation is necessary for the birthday offer! I've lived in Denmark for many years and am fluent in the language. The boss's statement, "But she pays!", revealed his behavior.

30/05/2025: I had a tough T-bone steak with dry potato wedges and a mini salad from the day before yesterday for 229 DKK. The waitress was very nice, the atmosphere was good, but the food was a disaster. Why serve a T-bone steak if the chef can't prepare it? It's a waste of the beautiful meat. No reason to go back.

23/10/2024: Super delicious food pancakes. You get plenty.

24/08/2024: Both food pancakes and dessert pancakes can be recommended. It's always nice to sit outside in the sun and there's rarely a long wait. We come at least once a year 👍👌
