07/12/2025: Super nice hotel. The breakfast buffet has what you need without being flashy, but no one leaves hungry. Nice to have a restaurant on site, and the food was really good. Cozy atmosphere with decorations in December. Spacious rooms.

10/09/2025: The staff is very nice and the room was clean. The room itself was also very comfortable, I had a good night. The pasta and dessert was really delicious, I can recommend the Mallard duck

26/12/2025: After a trip to Tingbæk limestone mine we drove to Stor Økssø for lunch at Mosskov Pavillonen. A really cozy place. The staff were welcoming and made us feel welcome. A good lunch buffet with a good selection. Definitely recommended. And there is a good selection of non-alcoholic beer.

23/11/2025: A fantastic shooting star for a late lunch. Good ingredients and pan-fried fish fillet. And a delicious glass of white wine to go with it. A wonderful experience can definitely be recommended.

26/09/2025: I think it was a very negative atmosphere on the part of the waiters and when you had to choose food from the menu they came back relatively quickly so you didn't have time to choose anything.

27/09/2025: We had a bad experience. Ordered a fried chicken BBQ burger and what we were served was raw. I commented on it and was told that's how they are. Ended up paying 150 kr and threw it all out except for the fries. Last time we eat there..

19/09/2025: A very authentic snack bar, with rustic tables and chairs. But it's cozy and hyggelig. The fish and chips were excellent. Exactly what you'd expect. The staff is very friendly, and the fried fish was really good. We felt at home.

23/11/2025: One of the oldest, if not the oldes, bars in Aalborg. Very laid back atmosphere. Good selection in both beer and other drinks. You are allowed to smoke inside, which is very rare in Denmark. This can be either a plus or a minus, depending on your preferences.

17/03/2026: During a recent business trip to Aalborg, I dined at Cafe Vi2 with a colleague. While burgers are not typically my first choice, I decided to follow the crowd and ordered an open-faced burger featuring chicken, mozzarella, and salad, with a side of chips. The chicken was cooked adequately, yet it lacked the distinct seasoning or flair that would allow it to distinguish itself. Overall, the burger felt rather unremarkable; the flavors were muted, and at times, the dish bordered on bland, failing to leave a lasting impression. The chips, however, were a delightful counterpoint—crisp, well-executed, and full of flavor. On the service front, our waitress was attentive and genuinely service-minded, which added a positive note to the experience. On a final note, I highly recommend their ginger tea—it was a standout. If you visit, that’s worth trying.
