06/09/2025: We were at Hals Strandcamping three weeks ago and had a really great time. The site is very clean and pleasantly quiet. We especially liked the pool – not too big, but with a great slide that our kids had a lot of fun on. 🏊‍♂️😊 The on-site shopping options are rather limited, and there isn't much to buy at the reception. The employee/owner didn't seem quite as friendly or cheerful as we've come to expect from other campsites – but that didn't spoil our stay. Since we were there outside of the holiday season, it was wonderfully relaxed. Besides a few permanent campers, there were maybe five to eight other campers there, so we felt like we almost had the place to ourselves. 🏕️ A real highlight is the beach: very clean, beautifully situated, and with extremely shallow water – perfect for children. Since there was hardly anything going on, we had almost the entire beach to ourselves. 🏖️✨ All in all, a very nice, quiet campsite that we can happily recommend. 👍

03/09/2025: We wouldn't recommend the campsite. They advertise a swimming pool, and then it's been closed since August 29th, even though it was still beautiful sunshine. We were there for four days, and the restrooms weren't even cleaned. For us, it was our first and last time there.

05/06/2025: The pizza is so delicious here! I highly recommend the roasted vegetarian pizza. 🍕 Their sauce is always great and consistent every time. Also, the service is top notch! They are always so kind to us and put us in the best mood. 😊

08/07/2025: We had ordered beef steaks with side dishes. I'm sure it wasn't beef steak but a flat-cut veal schnitzel. The taste was okay and we were hungry so we ate it but when you pay for a steak, that's what you expect.

15/09/2025: A very friendly, cozy restaurant with delicious offerings. The shellfish dishes must be ordered in advance. We had made a reservation there for the evening because of the mussels (moules frites) and overlooked the fact that this local dish is only available on the lunch menu. The friendly waitress offered to ask the kitchen if it was still possible, and so we got our requested dish. So delicious!

16/09/2025: I only had a cup of coffee. It was good and the restaurant was very cozy with a glass case containing many fine wines.

27/08/2025: We had a wonderful meal and drinks on the terrace. A good bottle of rosé wine accompanied by tapas made with homemade or local ingredients. Our dog was also welcome and was immediately given water and a biscuit. The friendly waiter was happy to explain their wine and food to us. We're also going to try pickling some vegetables ourselves :)

21/09/2025: Djengis Khan Mongolian Barbecue is an incredibly cool buffet concept – with lots of exciting experiences in addition. Here you will find a large selection of ready-made hot dishes, different types of sushi and a fresh salad bar. The highlight is undoubtedly the wok buffet, where you can choose your own meat and vegetables to taste. The selection is impressive – everything from pork, beef and chicken to more exotic options such as wild boar and kangaroo. The chef then prepares the dish exactly as you have put it together. The dessert buffet is an experience in itself, with cakes, sweets, fresh fruit, a soft ice cream machine and even a chocolate fountain – a highlight, especially for the children. A restaurant that combines food enjoyment, variety and entertainment in a great way. Perfect to take the family, and we will definitely be back!

27/08/2025: Large selection of dishes, good salad bar and good selection of desserts. Very cozy and modern surroundings. The food is definitely in the high class when it comes to similar buffet places.

30/07/2025: Really delicious buffet with fresh ingredients

28/07/2025: Had been looking forward to a shooting star, but upon arrival we found that you could not get it and that it only offered a buffet of sandwiches. Since we were hungry we bought 2x buffet. It turned out to be boring half pieces of sandwiches on too thickly sliced rye bread. The buffet was over quickly. A dry and boring experience. The payment system did not work, the waiter ran around confused and forgot several times what he was doing.

04/09/2025: Bådehavnsvej 4, 9000 Aalborg, Denmark Wow, this parking spot is about 30 minutes from the city center. But I've never seen such clean restrooms at a public parking lot like this!!! Really great! And paying for electricity, etc., was super easy, too. If you want a delicious breakfast, just head down the street to Grøn Bakery & Café. Truly delicious

28/08/2025: In the 90s, a bøfsandwich (steak sandwich) was a Danish national dish that you could get at every grill bar. The sandwich you get at VB is a further development of this wonderful dish bathed in brown sauce. If you want to try something very Danish, this is the right place to order a bøfsandwich. It is almost always in the final sprint when Denmark's best is to be chosen. Fantastic surroundings with a view of the marina and friendly service make this place a cozy gem.
