18/09/2025: I had to rush to get some quick food at Kennedy Arkaden before my bus left. I got my order in a few minutes, but had problems with payment when my card was repeatedly declined. I didn't have any other payment methods with me and was just about to drop off my sandwich when the nice clerk said I could just take it with me anyway ❤️

17/07/2025: On the Dot is practically a take-away. And what a fantastic take-away it is! Delicious burgers with juicy meat and exotic variations with a twist. In my opinion, On the Dot simply delivers the best burgers in town, and they are good enough for guest food at the better end!

26/09/2025: Friday 26-09-25 we redeemed our deal at Duoro bar, Tapas for 2. Can only give them 5 out of 5 stars for the whole experience.
Maybe I was lucky with the choice of red wine, but overall experience, service, food, coziness, etc. We will definitely come back.

17/10/2025: We got our food very quickly, but it was missing a pancake and even the pancake dish was NOT as described AT ALL. There were 2 tiny vanilla lumps with a splash of syrup on the plate. On the other hand, their sandwiches were super good.

We read that it was fresh ingredients, but their Fish’n Chips were anything but fresh. The “fish” were partially frozen and their fries tasted like rancid fries. The poor waiter apologized and offered another round. My wife refused and I really should have too, because I had to give up eating it after a few mouthfuls and left the place with a sickening taste of fries in my mouth. We will never return so we were offered a free meal, ugh 😠

28/08/2025: Got takeaway tapas and steak bearnaise and there was plenty. Everything tasted great. There was good and friendly service. We will come again. Next time in the restaurant 😄

06/09/2025: We had a Margherita pizza, chicken rolls, and half a chicken. The chicken was good, but the chicken rolls could have used a bit more dressing and seasoning, and the salad was also good without any of it. Perhaps not quite what German tourists are used to. The pizza was really not good; the base, while thin, felt like cardboard, and the cheese seemed to be a cheap imitation cheese. It was absolutely useless, unfortunately.
The staff was very friendly, though, and the wait time was acceptable given the busy times.

09/10/2025: A charming place in Hirtshals that really surprised me positively. Easy access and parking, beautiful location and a short walk to a fantastic beach. The apartment is elegantly and practically furnished, with spacious rooms and a large outdoor area with nature and activities. You can eat well and enjoy yourself on site. The host is incredibly nice and helpful in all situations. I will definitely be back!
31/07/2025: We stayed for two nights in mid July. Very hospitable and friendly owner, rooms were large and as advertised. The kitchen was well equipped, and the whole apartment was fresh and clean. We will for sure return!

21/07/2025: We got sushi take away, I must honestly admit it was tasteless, almost no dressing on the sushi, very little garnish, rice tasted like it was overcooked, worst sushi in a long time
18/05/2025: Service was good, not a finger to be put on there, young sweet girl.
BUT the food was not very good, the rice from the sushi was dry and the fish did not taste fresh.
The seaweed around the sushi was not very good either
