05/03/2025: Unfortunately, they only delivered just over half of the food, forgot chopsticks, and when we called we were first told that you can write an email. When we then explained that it was too bad when we sat and had to eat, the solution was that we had to leave the table again, to drive 20 minutes in and pick up the missing food and then 20 minutes back home... then just 40 minutes passed, petrol and atmosphere from the birthday...

10/09/2024: Danish review: I have been a regular customer for several years and a big fan of their pho soup. Unfortunately, I have been disappointed that they have raised the prices significantly. The prices also vary in a way that makes me feel like they're ripping me off just because I've been there often. They have raised the price of the pho soup, while at the same time saving on the meatballs and much of the meat and noodles. The soup doesn't taste like it used to either, but they still expect me to acknowledge them. Recently I was there again and asked if I should have had meatballs in my soup. They replied that they don't usually put that in my soup, which is strange since meatballs are a classic ingredient in pho soup - especially when you consider that they often charge extra for it. The soup used to cost DKK 80, but now it costs DKK 95, and I always end up paying DKK 125. without drinks because I'm paying for meatballs I don't get. There have also been problems before - I have been served dishes with flies in them, but today was the last straw. I found a small piece of kitchen sponge and hair in my soup. When I complained, I was talked down to in a very condescending way. I'm usually very indulgent and think they're busy, but I don't want to be talked down to and manipulated. I have long enjoyed coming there because of their friendliness, but that is no longer there either. It cannot fit that he claimed that piece of kitchen sponge was pepper. 30/05/2025: We visited Restaurant Amalie in Vorupør with high expectations, and the experience ended up being a mixed bag. The place definitely has potential, but it is also clear that it is still early in the season. The biggest plus was undoubtedly the sweet and welcoming staff, who did their best to create a good atmosphere and help along the way – it lifted the whole experience. The food was very inconsistent: – The children's dishes were served long before the adults', which created imbalance and confusion. – We ordered dry-aged steaks, but I have my doubts whether they were actually dry-aged. One was tame and without much flavor – a disappointment that cannot be recommended. – Fortunately, the spareribs pulled up – they were tender, juicy and tasty. – The whole grilled beef fillet was the highlight of the evening: tender, perfectly cooked and full of flavor – a really good experience. – The potato bar and salad bar worked well as side dishes and allowed a little freedom in the meal. When it comes to the price, it's a mixed experience. 2,000 kr. for 4 adults and 2 children is probably fair by today's standards, but some prices seem completely unreasonable – for example 60 kr. for a glass of milk. It's hard not to feel like you're in a tourist trap, where price and quality don't always go hand in hand. All in all, Restaurant Amalie is a place with friendly staff and some really good dishes – but also with far too much fluctuation in quality and prices, which makes you feel a bit ripped off. With a little more focus on consistency and reasonableness, it could be a recommendable experience. So far: an average experience, lifted by the atmosphere and a few bright spots.

22/05/2025: Incredibly loud noise level from the staff behind the counter. Good that you get along well with each other. But it's too much when you can clearly hear personal conversations. It has happened to me several times and is very disturbing and frankly inappropriate.

14/04/2025: Jeg havde en ubehagelig oplevelse igår ved Starbucks Skalborg! Man bør ikke besøge jeres cafe, hvis der er medfølgende børn. Vi var sammen med venner og to små børn på 1 og 3 år, der blev gjort en bemærkning til os, at børnene grinede højt. De er kun små børn, ikke voksne mennesker , hvordan ville I forvente, at små børn opfører sig som voksne? Det var vigtugt at bemærke, at der 4 andre kunder i cafeen på det tidspunkt. Dette var en dårlig måde at behandle kunder med børn på den måde! Vi er ked af at sige det, men desværre,bliver det sidste gang mefbesøg på Starbucks for mig og mine venner!!!

19/03/2025: We were 3 guys who went in for a milkshake, all 3 milkshakes were watered down and really didn't taste right. When we tried to get a hold of an employee, no one came so it was just empty, incredibly bad experience, not recommended. Won't be coming here again :-(

22/02/2025: Lite enklare snabbmatsrestaurang men med en hel del husmanskost att välja på. Vi åt här två gånger då uteserveringen vid hamnen var stor och lockande. Trevlig personal och god mat.

22/10/2024: New owners and poor cleaning and washing of the tables. I miss that they take the job seriously. How is it in the kitchen? Have been here regularly for 13 years as a holiday guest. 5 May 2024 / visited now 20 October looked like they had closed
