03/09/2024: A cute little coffee with delicious food and nice conditions in a very nice atmosphere. It's a good place to eat ice cream and drink cafe. I would recommend it to everyone!

25/08/2024: Diese Eisdiele in der Fußgängerzone von Aalborg hat sehr leckeres Eis und Guf. Auch seltene Sorten wie Købnhavner und Panna Cotta. Preisleistung passt. Hebt sich von den durchschnittlichen Ketten-Eisdielen positiv ab.

08/11/2024: Overall assessment 3/5 Very good value for money. It is DKK 499, all inclusive, per person on a weekday. Drinks were on a table in the middle of the restaurant, but it is ad libitum. The atmosphere is good, but a bit noisy because the tables are very close together. There is something relaxing about the fact that the choices have been made for what is on the menu and you can sit back and enjoy the experience. Some of the flavor combinations don't quite hit the mark, but overall it was good food and good drink. You won't be disappointed, but you won't be overwhelmed either. Aperitif 3/5 nothing special, but quite ok. The mini mozzarella was good and fun. Appetizer 2/5 There was a slightly mixed reception to the appetizer. The starter seemed a bit haphazardly put together and the flavors were not allowed to interact freely. The juice(?) of shellfish and citrus tasted more like old fish, possibly just too much fish. There was one who really liked the starter but not the pears. If you are looking for the most wine for the money: 5/5. The wines are good. The red wine was a bit cold and the white wine too warm. I wonder if they have switched between red and white wine? The elderflower evening cannot be recommended, it tastes nothing. Main course 4/5 Here the flavors went better together, especially the stuffed leek was a positive surprise. The meat was tender and went well with the pickled plums. For some, the main course brought associations to childhood and good memories. Dessert 4/5 There were slightly divided, but overall very positive opinions about the dessert. Some thought it was refreshing to have a dessert without salted caramel or chocolate, while others missed something salty or bitter to contrast with the overwhelmingly sweet apple-dominated mousse and ice cream. The hazelnut ice cream was outstanding. The dessert wine was impeccable and pulled up to a four. Coffee and sweet with a sharp one The apple brandy had no apple flavor, but was perfectly fine as a brandy. The room was nothing to write home about, it is not recommended. There was too much alcohol in the room. Good coffee, but a bit thin. The cake with the coffee was also good.

14/06/2024: Truly merchantship of the old luxury class. Anyone who needs a gift in the form of coffee or tea, I never buy anything else than from Kronen. Probably the best service in all of Jutland.

28/05/2024: The crown is top class. Beautiful shop with delicatessen, tea, coffee and other delicacies. The staff are really skilled, provide a competent service and it is a pleasure to visit Kronen every time.

02/11/2024: Once again great pizza at Mike Arvblom's. The bottom is absolutely unbeatable. We come back time and time again for pizza that is second to none. Always good service and great atmosphere.

19/10/2024: Really good food and really good service. However, the dessert was nothing to shout about, it was actually a bit strange... so 4 stars. One for each dish that tasted good. There were also a few things on the menu that were not part of the dishes, e.g. polenta in them first course, and some salted lemon peels in another course. But it was not lacking as such. We were also a little forgotten when we had to have dessert, but we got free coffee and an extra glass of wine/juice, so they handled that for UG+. All in all a really good experience and we would happily eat there again if we are in the area.

29/11/2024: We had a very nice experience with Scandic Ålborg øst. Got super service when rooms had to be changed and the rooms appeared recently renovated, clean and with good beds at normal height. Good selection at breakfast - only I discovered there were two tables with some distance between cold and hot food.

13/11/2024: A simple hotel with a great breakfast not far from the motorway and yet in a quiet location. Small rooms, but we were only there to sleep.
