31/01/2025: Great place and idea behind it, however due to bad service cannot be enjoyed entirely. I tried communal dinner which was pretty alright as taste and people around were friendly , despite a monologue of irrelevant jokes from the staff that takes nearly 15 minutes Today I am back from painting workshop and I was surprised how unwilling was the person leading it, beginning with the warning that paintings will be thrown if not collected, not showing any presence during the workshop , and making the whole joy of the activity a bit forced . The feeling of workshop experience and the painting process that is creative and valuable was not a case . It felt that the person leading is being kept against her own will in there, just waiting for us to leave / grumpy that we made a mess. I still recommend the place but I warn people to be patient with the service

23/12/2024: Super hyggeligt, lille, stemningsfuldt og originalt sted. Ikke et luksushotel, men et rent og pænt sted med mange kunstneriske detaljer. Et skønt sted med et simpelt koncept, god stemning og lækker mad i deres egen lille restaurant. Vinyl på værelset var et kæmpe plus - virkelig god stemning! Der er mange muligheder for gåture i naturen i nærheden. Området er virkelig smukt, og der er et gammelt fungerende fyrtårn i byen, hvilket var hyggeligt om aftenen. Note: Madbaren har bl.a. udsigt til Industrihavnen i Hanstholm – ikke ligefrem idyllisk, men stadig fem stjerner for det autentiske.

07/12/2024: Var til fællesspisning efterfulgt af koncert. Det var en fantastisk skøn aften med udsøgt, anderledes og meget velsmagende mad. Maden blev serveret ved langborde med ti personer, hvor retterne var til deling, og der var absolut mad nok til alle. Et virkelig skønt koncept - som vi meget gerne vil deltage i igen en anden gang.

29/12/2024: Absolutely stunning property. Very friendly staff. We had a problem with our accommodation at Dancenter and walked into the b&b to ask for recommendations for another place to stay in the area. Two ladies did absolutely everything in their power to help us find a place to stay. Would give 10 stars if possible.

Cozy surroundings that match the area's history and atmosphere. 👌 Friendly staff and the food comes quickly - maybe just fast enough, and generally the only thing that slows down is the pace. It goes too fast with serving and cleaning up. No presentation of the food or follow-up on the serving. The wine is OK, but there is no recommendation for the dishes. The food is really good, but it will stand a bit on its own. If the rest had followed suit, it would not be a problem to take 2-300 kroner more per person. envelope in our opinion. Thanks for the food. 😊

25/01/2025: The food was fantastic, the restaurant has the most beautiful view over the fjord. The service was top notch, friendly and very attentive. Definitely worth a visit.

25/01/2025: Today we have been delivered the most fantastically delicious gourmet tapas - all our guests and ourselves, were wildly excited - everything tasted heavenly - it is no problem to have many guests for a party dinner with such a delicious menu - it can really be recommended. 1 million stars from us 😍

20/01/2025: I give 5 stars on everything except quantity. I must say that the place is incredibly cozy and the service is almost familiar. However, I would say that in relation to the price, it is a shame that you leave hungry. I chose a Beouf Onion and there just wasn't enough to call it a meal. Usually when I order a steak I prefer to get one piece of meat and not 6-7 strips

04/11/2024: Rarely have I experienced something so unfriendly. The night before you spend good money on mediocre food and portions that are far too small. The children enjoyed making candles (we were also ripped off here. We were told a price of 79 crowns per candle, when they were finished they suddenly wanted 99 crowns, that's not possible!) and were told that we had to make the candles on Pick it up the next day between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. and the children can then decorate them with glitter. When we arrived around 2:40 p.m. the owner was very stressed, she wanted to finish work and would now just wait for us. The tone and manner didn't work at all. After we were there for the second time and experienced the unfriendly manner, we will NEVER see this restaurant with its current staff again!!! I hope that a great successor will be found, because the ladies no longer feel like continuing with this, they said that themselves! Maybe under new management, you can eat there again... That remains to be seen!

30/10/2024: Very unfriendly staff, candles are advertised as cheaper, but then cost 20 crowns more. If you come in the afternoon you may be kicked out of the restaurant. Otherwise good food 👍

22/01/2025: Sehr schöner kleiner Hafen mit sehr guten Restaurant.Inhaber und Bedienung sehr freundlich.Im Hafen liegen auch die sehr guten Boote von Mommark Charterboot welche man für einen erfolgreichen Angeltrip mieten kann.

31/10/2024: Yes, there is our popular fish fillet again with fries and a small salad bowl. It's a little more expensive than last year, but still just as tasty. They are two good pieces of fried fish, which sets them apart from other competitors. It is much more fish meat with a crispy breading. The fries are served crispy, with remoulade, and a bowl of carrot sticks, raisins and lemon slices. If the weather is not ideal (on Bornholm?), there is the option to dine in a large room. When the weather is good, there are enough outdoor spaces. The very friendly staff brings the ordered food to the table. There are various parking spaces available, but if there aren't enough, there are more free ones opposite, to the left of the former cannery. Various fresh fish, salads and preparations are offered from the in-house smokehouse. The fish cakes are among my most popular. It's definitely worth a visit!!

22/10/2024: Nice place, expensive but not so good food. Ordered hot smoked salmon with salad & bread. The salmon was a bit dry but good. The salad was brown-edged, the bread sparsely added and the dressing probably from a bottle of Italian dressing from the supermarket poured into a small plastic jar. We felt cheated.
