17/10/2026: We've been here before, and it will definitely be our last visit. The food has always been absolutely fantastic. The only thing to keep in mind is that this isn't fast food, meaning you'll need to allow some time if you want to eat around lunchtime. But the restaurant definitely deserves it, and it gives you a chance to slow down a bit. If you're in a hurry, you can order by the window (at least in summer, otherwise it's too cold) and sit outside. That's probably a bit faster than eating inside. Either way, the food is so good that it's definitely worth it. 👍

17/10/2026: Really nice food and there was plenty of it. The atmosphere was a bit ruined by all the Halloween crap that was around.

16/08/2026: The city's absolute best-tasting pizza. Limited selection, but with a focus on quality. The outdoor seating is cozy, the atmosphere indoors is not as cozy.

20/08/2026: We ate here on Tuesday. We've known the place for a long time and were really looking forward to it. The food was fantastic again; my highlight, believe it or not, was the salad dressing—a kind of garlic oil, or something like that. The weather should cooperate for eating in, as you can only sit outside, but you have a great view of the harbor. Absolutely fascinating! Highly recommended!!!

09/09/2026: Nice breakfast, interesting to see many people gathering here. A cheese sandwich, granola+yoghurt, chia pudding, egg and filter coffee was 100 DKK. Wanted to come for dinner but spaces are booked for like a week ahead.

21/09/2026: We were here in September 2026 to see the fishing boats on the beach. Afterwards, we wanted to grab a bite to eat and stopped at Fiskehus. We received very friendly service, and the fish was delicious. Because of the weather, we ate inside, which, with its cozy atmosphere (and view of the North Sea), perfectly suited our needs. We highly recommend Fiskehus 👍🏻

24/09/2026: This is a very good restaurant. Despite having to alter the reservation to one person only I received an excellent welcome. The staff throughout were faultless. The food was inventive, beautifully presented, and the flavours were defined and balanced. I ate the chefs choice five course menu and was delighted with this. The matching wines were well chosen and good quality. Hirsthals is a small town and is fortunate to have this restaurant.

05/10/2026: What a freaking joy it was to eat here. This place truly knows how to serve seafood. We enjoyed every single dish. Fresh fish freshly done. My favorite was the friend shrimp, while my wife’s was the softshell crab. For two hungry people, sharing 4 seafood dishes, a massive portion of moules marinières, and a generous side order of fries was more than enough food to keep us happy. Had a great spicy margarita too! Prices were reasonable, by CPH standards,for the super quality. We loved the cozy, vacation-like vibe of the place, and the waitstaff were all very nice, with quick service overall. We will definitely be back!

30/09/2026: A really fantastic and fun place to eat. Being from Brooklyn, it does convey a certain Bushwick-y vibe, even if the clientele isn't a mostly hipster one. The seafood was fresh and delicious with a lot of great options. They oysters--fantastic. Our waiter was terrific and we appreciated being allowed to move outside with a wait since the inside was too hot. A great night. Looking forward to returning.
