23/12/2024: Super hyggeligt, lille, stemningsfuldt og originalt sted. Ikke et luksushotel, men et rent og pænt sted med mange kunstneriske detaljer. Et skønt sted med et simpelt koncept, god stemning og lækker mad i deres egen lille restaurant. Vinyl på værelset var et kæmpe plus - virkelig god stemning! Der er mange muligheder for gåture i naturen i nærheden. Området er virkelig smukt, og der er et gammelt fungerende fyrtårn i byen, hvilket var hyggeligt om aftenen. Note: Madbaren har bl.a. udsigt til Industrihavnen i Hanstholm – ikke ligefrem idyllisk, men stadig fem stjerner for det autentiske.

07/12/2024: Var til fællesspisning efterfulgt af koncert. Det var en fantastisk skøn aften med udsøgt, anderledes og meget velsmagende mad. Maden blev serveret ved langborde med ti personer, hvor retterne var til deling, og der var absolut mad nok til alle. Et virkelig skønt koncept - som vi meget gerne vil deltage i igen en anden gang.

27/09/2024: Restaurantens beliggenhed ved havnen er intet mindre end fantastisk - med en smuk udsigt, der sætter rammen for en uforglemmelig oplevelse. Maden var som altid vidunderlig, med lækre retter, der både overrasker og forkæler smagsløgene. Det hele fuldendtes af det skønne værtspar Lea og Søren, som med deres varme og nærvær gør besøget endnu mere særligt. Fem stjerner herfra - en perle, der absolut er et besøg værd Jette Glendorf

We had a problem with our accommodation at Dancenter and walked into the b&b to ask for recommendations for another place to stay in the area. Two ladies did absolutely everything in their power to help us find a place to stay. Would give 10 stars if possible.

29/11/2024: Var på Strandgården med et hold venner til aftensmad. Tre tog deres laksetatar og en fik carpaccio til forret, gode forretter. Til hovedretter, blev der bestilt to stjerne skud, samt to “Dagens fisk” Rigtig lækkert mad, alle var godt tilfredse, sød og hurtig servering. Rigtig god aften👍

29/12/2024: A best place where you can have a nice wonderful meal with the best service ever and lovely friendly atmosphere. The lady there and the chef were always cheerful and full of power and energy wearing their lovely smile and speak in a very good English! I love the place and I recommend it always for all fish lovers. Also they have the best taste French fries ever you can have it!

04/11/2024: Rarely have I experienced something so unfriendly. The night before you spend good money on mediocre food and portions that are far too small. The children enjoyed making candles (we were also ripped off here. We were told a price of 79 crowns per candle, when they were finished they suddenly wanted 99 crowns, that's not possible!) and were told that we had to make the candles on Pick it up the next day between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. and the children can then decorate them with glitter. When we arrived around 2:40 p.m. the owner was very stressed, she wanted to finish work and would now just wait for us. The tone and manner didn't work at all. After we were there for the second time and experienced the unfriendly manner, we will NEVER see this restaurant with its current staff again!!! I hope that a great successor will be found, because the ladies no longer feel like continuing with this, they said that themselves! Maybe under new management, you can eat there again... That remains to be seen!

30/10/2024: Very unfriendly staff, candles are advertised as cheaper, but then cost 20 crowns more. If you come in the afternoon you may be kicked out of the restaurant. Otherwise good food 👍

27/12/2024: Det er to år siden vi besøkte denne fantastiske og særegne restauranten under vårt forrige besøk her i Skagen. Vi har derfor sett fram til et nytt besøk på restauranten og en ny, kulinarisk opplevelse. Vi ble absolutt ikke skuffet denne gangen heller. I år ble det fiskerestaurantens egne og helt spesielle juleplatte. Den bestod av ferske reker, revet andebryst, gravet laks med en nydelig saus og tyttebær, spekeskinke, fritert sjøtunge, fritert torsk, aioli, pesto, rugbrød og lyst brød. Til drikke valgte vi, etter servitørens anbefaling, en tørr riesling. Dette ble en opplevelse uten sidestykke, helt topp! Alle som besøker fantastiske Skagen bør virkelig unne seg et måltid på denne restauranten. Vi kommer garantert tilbake igjen!

31/10/2024: Yes, there is our popular fish fillet again with fries and a small salad bowl. It's a little more expensive than last year, but still just as tasty. They are two good pieces of fried fish, which sets them apart from other competitors. It is much more fish meat with a crispy breading. The fries are served crispy, with remoulade, and a bowl of carrot sticks, raisins and lemon slices. If the weather is not ideal (on Bornholm?), there is the option to dine in a large room. When the weather is good, there are enough outdoor spaces. The very friendly staff brings the ordered food to the table. There are various parking spaces available, but if there aren't enough, there are more free ones opposite, to the left of the former cannery. Various fresh fish, salads and preparations are offered from the in-house smokehouse. The fish cakes are among my most popular. It's definitely worth a visit!!

22/10/2024: Nice place, expensive but not so good food. Ordered hot smoked salmon with salad & bread. The salmon was a bit dry but good. The salad was brown-edged, the bread sparsely added and the dressing probably from a bottle of Italian dressing from the supermarket poured into a small plastic jar. We felt cheated.
