29/12/2025: fishmarket, a fish restaurant smack in the middle of the centre. good menu with a danish/french orientation. we had a 3 course meal with cured salmon, cod and a sticky toffee pudding. paired with a bottle of taittinger rosé. the flavours where balanced, portion sizes where good and the service was friendly, happy and fast. prices where in line with what u expert in kopenhagen. so if you are in the centre, craving for fish and want a cozy bistro setting go here. we will be back if we are in kopenhagen again.

11/10/2025: Despite high demand and no reservation, we managed to get a table for three. There was a German menu, and the wait staff also spoke quite good German. This is mostly possible in Denmark, but not a given. We'd be happy to come back.

25/10/2025: Was here for lunch with the family. Very welcoming staff who are at eye level with the guests and are able to be relaxed. The food is, for lack of a better description, fantastic. Both the Bunkerburger in the regular version and the mini were perfect. In addition, we got board dishes that fully lived up to expectations and more than reasonable for the price. All in all, a superb experience.

03/02/2026: Wow.... what a surprise. Best food in a long time. Everything from entrance to exit..... so good. Plenty of different wines and beers. We chose pasta with king prawns and pasta with fried salmon.... hard to stop eating.... forced me to drink some wine every now and then. Quiet, clean, warm... best place to eat in Hirtzhals? So far at least 👌 Don't rush, just take your time, every minute is good. Very affordable👍

22/12/2025: Absolutely top-notch! Fresh fish cooked to perfection, generous portions, and incredibly flavorful. The service is attentive, quick, and genuinely friendly – ​​nothing forced. You can immediately tell that quality is paramount here. The price is right, and the atmosphere is relaxed and clean. For me, it's one of the best fish restaurants around. I'll definitely be back and can recommend it without reservation.

18/01/2026: A birthday with good food. And the food was really good. Not gourmet food, but deliciously tasty. In relation to what you got, the price is on the high end and for that reason alone, I will not go there again. Unfortunately, there were three guests who did not show up and five who left right after the main course, which was a shame, since the food had been paid for in advance. And now that the food had been paid for by the guests, I was somewhat surprised that I could not get an extra dessert, since there should have been eight portions left over. The staff told me that there was nothing they could do about it. When they were not there, I was not allowed to have that dessert. It is really bad style and another reason why I will not go there again. The tables are catastrophically bad, so it was not possible to hold a speech so that everyone could hear it. Also, you could not see anything but half of the party. Another reason not to hold events there again. So in short. If you like expensive food that does not quite live up to the price, please visit the place. But remember to make an appointment at the local ice cream parlor so you can drive home from the city completely full and satisfied.

08/01/2026: The New Year's menu was excellent and a great dining experience. Delivery was super well organized and we enjoyed the many dishes at home on Orø. If you will consider recycling the large use of plastic packaging, there are five stars next year 🙂

14/02/2026: The unconventional shooting star (fried fillet, hot smoked salmon, soy marinated tuna) is highly recommended, the dessert was pretzels, not usually one of my favorites, but very delicious when served warm here on site.

16/03/2026: The fish and chips were perfectly edible, and you could probably try the shrimp, too. It's probably the only place in the entire Elsinor Street Food chain where you can clearly see what you're eating. The service was pretty fast, but the furniture has definitely seen better days. It's understandable that it's probably "part of the historical image," but on autopilot, you constantly try to wipe away the stains under the varnish. The ending was particularly infuriating – tell me, where do you throw away a cardboard box stained with grease and a plastic bowl full of sauce? In paper? In plastic? In the biowaste?

11/02/2026: Honestly, it was the best fish and chips I ever ate. I've eaten a lot of fish and chips, from Bristol to Newcastle and from Southampton to Lossiemouth, and honestly, this one was better than a vast majority of them. Great work to be honest!

11/10/2025: Amazingly good food in a cosy setting. We went for the 5-course and were simply blown away by each one. Special thanks also goes to the friendly and attentive crew who served and impressed us. Give this chef and restaurant its star already, Michelin!

Champagne & customized wine/juice menu The whole molevitten for 1200,- (That's cheap😅) The evening starts at 6:00 PM and ends when we're done 🙂 Absolutely fantastic menu, atmosphere and service! 30/12/2025: Clear recommendation from here, had bought sweetdeal with 6 course menu and it was worth every penny. Bought a bottle of wine, water and a mocktail menu for 3 people, it was a bit on the expensive side, plus there was an environmental surcharge of 20 kr. It's probably the way the times are, but it certainly doesn't change the service and food experience which was top notch.

26/10/2025: I went with my friend for Copenhagen dining week, and it was about 385 dkk each for a five course meal, and we were both very happy with our experience! The dishes were wonderful, the sushi was great, and the meat sticks were very tender and nice. We really liked the croquettes (korokke) and sushi in particular.

18/10/2025: We came two days in a row. No matter what you choose, everything is amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful in choosing a menu based on your taste. I highly recommend it. The beef tataki is my favorite.

13/01/2026: The pre selected course menu is great, especially with the wine recommendation of the friendly waitors. The food is amazing and tasty, worth trying! The seating is not the most comfortable, but it fits the fish market diner atmosphere.
