16/07/2026: The food was fantastic, each table holds 7/8 people and the portions were good leaving everyone full. The dirty lemonade went down a treat this day because it was so hot. Great food, company and vibes

07/07/2026: Absalon in Copenhagen is a truly special place for lunch. The converted church creates an atmosphere that's rarely experienced: open, uncomplicated, and yet very pleasant. We particularly liked the concept of the long tables where you sit together with strangers, many of them locals. This makes the visit feel less like a typical restaurant and more like a small, communal gathering. The food was good, down-to-earth, and perfectly suited to the relaxed setting. The beer selection also pleasantly surprised us and went well with lunch. Overall, the atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant, lively, but not hectic. I'm deducting one star because, while the food was good, it wasn't exceptional. Nevertheless, Absalon is highly recommended if you're looking for something different from a traditional restaurant in Copenhagen.

06/08/2026: Went there for lunch. Pretty empty for a Thursday. Service was good. We got the fish of the day and it was superb.

06/08/2026: The food was amazing, we ordered one portion seafood platter to share because we wanted to try other things, the staff was very nice about it, didn’t pressure us to order two portions. We had mussel bisque and catch of the day after. Vibe was nice, with outdoor seating and indoor. Would highly recommend anyone who wants fresh seafood.

27/07/2026: Today we went to Gamle Rogeri Nexø to buy some fish to take home. Everything on offer looked incredibly appetizing! Given the rather high half-kilo price of the fresh fish, we ultimately opted for cod cakes and smoked mackerel and herring. Delicious! The smoked fish was very mildly smoked and succulent, and the cakes were the most delicious I've ever eaten! They were even gluten-free, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to eat them. I would have definitely been missing out!

24/07/2026: Went here shortly after arriving in Copenhagen after checking in to our accommodation. We picked this place because it was close to where we were staying and we wanted something light. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sushi and sashimi.

10/07/2026: Matches price value. Authentic, stylish and cozy surroundings!!! The setting is set for a meal in a special class. Professionally and enthusiastically presented and served by the discreet, and clearly experienced waiters. Service in a class you rarely encounter today, from the welcome at the door, to a fine rounding off of the experience

15/05/2026: Best shrimp burger! If you don’t know what to order from the street food market, then I would recommend this place. The bun is also very good!

15/05/2026: I ordered the fish burger with fries, both were quite delicious, but there wasn't much fish. Next time I come, I'd like to order the fried fish. P.S. The thick-cut fries were delicious. The seating and ambiance were very interesting!

26/07/2026: A very delicious fish restaurant with outstanding quality. We had the fish tower with a large selection of raw fish – everything was incredibly fresh and tasted excellent. It was accompanied by a perfectly paired wine that complemented the meal beautifully. The value for money was also excellent. We were completely satisfied and will gladly return.

17/07/2026: 5 generations of smokers. Professionals who are passionate about fish and customer experiences. Fresh fish is smoked every day. They start smoking at 3:30 am every night to have fresh products and the experience of the fish being taken out while you eat lunch. Wide selection.

15/07/2026: The smoked fish is so good! We tried the "smoke duet" for two and we both loved it. Unfortunately they were out of herring when we arrived (around 18:30) but we got another smoked mackerel instead. The view overlooking the ocean was lovely. The staff was kind and helpful. There wasn't a kid's menu so the portions were a bit big for a child. Would definitely recommend a visit if you want to eat at a røgeri in Bornholm. The smoked salmon was the best I've ever had! Loved the different sauces as well.

22/07/2026: Food was not particularly interesting compared to the prize. We ordered a Toledo Dish which was way too small and not anything special compared to the price. The poke ball was okay, but again compared to the prize not worth. You could probably make it more interesting yourself. The desert was just a scoop of chocolate ice cream … not worth the money at all…

11/08/2026: Such a nice afternoon spot for small seafood plates, wine and relaxing. Oysters, fish and chips and drinks were great.

11/08/2026: Despite being extremely touristy and featuring a very basic atmosphere, it remains a must-visit for first-time visitors to Copenhagen. Qualitatively, it's one of the best seafood restaurants in the area. Dishes are beautifully presented and carefully crafted. The Turbot is one of the signature dishes you should try at least once.

17/07/2026: We had to go to the waiter and ask for more drinks. Our main course arrived 80 minutes later, after we had reminded him again.

11/08/2026: Ok so the food was great but I had a very long wait to be seated. It appeared that there were only one server and a host working and running food,drinks etc. There were also many tables. Additionally I had to wait a bit before the server came to my table. Anyways the food was delicious and the I really liked the atmosphere and the menu. I came for lunch during a trip to Copenhagen. I think it's worthy of 5 stars. Maybe they had someone call off that day or something but they could potentially need to beef up service bodies. Their menu is also posted outside so you can see what they have to offer. Also in a popular area/central location.

12/07/2026: On one of the hottest days of the year we just had to have some lunch. Oh my, a small mango salad. How delicious... And it was so small...!! For 99 kr you expect more than half a handful of boring salad and four (yes FOUR) pieces of hard mango. Fish & chips... Thats, haddock that had been in the wishing well for 2-3 hours too much - in short it had gotten so much that it was dry and about to fall apart All in all. The view and the service are nothing to put a finger on. If you want something to eat you have to dive very deep into the molehill to get full.

22/07/2026: Very accessible, easy to find, lots of space, and just at the harbor of Hundested. A table outside can easily fit 6 people. You raise a little wooden flag at the table if you're ready to order, but I think it makes it difficult to spot especially if multiple flags are up on different tables and there's not a lot of service to go around. The plates are very generous. The stjerneskud I ordered was delicious, the breaded fish wasn't overcooked.

21/07/2026: One hour and five minutes of waiting for lunch - that's simply too long. We've visited the place several times, and the food is absolutely fine. The same is the beer, and the staff is smiling and friendly. But a Tuesday in the high season obviously exceeds the capabilities of logistics and planning. We waited 20 minutes before we got in touch with a waiter and ordered. Our beer then came quite quickly, but after that we waited so long that we finally had to get up and ask if we had been forgotten. We hadn't - but they couldn't keep up with the demand, was the answer. We would have liked to have known that when we arrived. We had expected a wait on a busy summer day in the middle of the high season. But over an hour of waiting for lunch is too much.
