14/05/2025: Consistently perfectly cooked fish and veg; good service; pleasant atmosphere. Good location, on the harbour. The only downside is that the outside eating area is in shade from about 7pm in May. In my view the best fish restaurant in Skagen.

10/04/2025: We got a 3-course menu (and a simple side dish, of interest) with a wine menu. Both the food and the wine were a super nice experience, it's a place we will return to and can recommend it warmly. Although the restaurants were almost full and a large self-catered next door, we can't put our finger on anything.

11/05/2025: So I saw Google reviews and they were good. Decided to get a quick lunch - thank good I did not get the big platter. I got 2 salads and a fish , a fish salad is also a fish btw. So I got the octopus salad , kimchi and chickpea salad. Apart from the octopus both the vegetarian salads were just salty - and too salty. No depth of flavor no other flavor , just lots of salt. Kimchi was also not a kimchi not at all spicy or slightly sweet and sour , just salty .. the octopus was alright , I went home ate it with ketchup 🤦🏻‍♀️ I mean ….. I wouldn’t try this again. Maybe I would tho give their fresh seafood produce a try and cook it myself since at least the ingredients were fresh. So two stars for fresh ingredients and cleanliness 👍🏻🫡

11/05/2025: Bought a box to eat at the hotel for dinner. We chose 3 fish and 3 salad mixes with shrimps, crab, calamari, edaname salad, tzatziki and artichoke salad. It was generous and very good. Although a bit oily in my opinion. However service could be improved!

25/04/2025: Bought a fish plate today, as stated, it was from yesterday afternoon. The green herbs had become soft and not tasty. It should not have been sold at full price. Unfortunately, I did not take a photo.

10/09/2024: My mother and I went there to drink coffee and eat cake, although my mother only drank one water because she was sick from the crossing. So we asked twice for 1 piece of white bread to combat the nausea, which eventually came. As we left I asked the blonde waitress how much we had to pay for the bread. The waitress said get in line, it's not your turn yet. In between, another waitress came and asked me if she could help and I asked her the same thing. Whereupon she said you didn't have to pay, but then the blonde came and demanded €5 for the slice of white bread. I said outrageous, but she didn't care. I told the other waitress and she just shook her head and confirmed that it was a rip off. I will never go there again, thanks for the hospitable impression.

12/10/2024: Fantastic food in a wonderful ambience. Service top notch and the food is always amazing. We had lunch and happy about the lunch menu being smaller portions. It has always been a fantastic experience eating in this lovely restaurant.

02/05/2025: The food was super delicious. The halibut melted on the tongue. We had an attentive waiter who came to our table to hear that we wanted more sauce etc. Cozy atmosphere with soft music in the background. Great view of Svaneke harbour. Table reservations are recommended. We would like to recommend this place and we will come again.

19/05/2025: Waited for a while and being told that the kitchen closes. Took fish and chips as plan B cuz that’s the only thing they still offer as food. I didn’t imagine fried fish could be served raw and cold. I was speechless and shocked by it and they offered another plate of it. Food was ok after cooked yet the portion really wasn’t adequate if you were hungry. The vibe was pretty nice however wouldn’t recommend if you go for food. As mentioned by other comments the amount I paid doesn’t match the amount on the receipt. Seems like although I opt for no tip they still add 3%tip anyway.

17/05/2025: Unfortunately, the taste wasn't that great, but otherwise it was pleasant and nice. The prices are a bit expensive, but understandable given the ambiance.

13/03/2025: Out of season, we booked a table on a Thursday evening. Owner called mid-afternoon to ask our food choices, fish or meat! We got a nice big flatfish, well fried, with potatoes - and butter sauce! There were just the two of us and the owner and the conversation went on all evening.

10/05/2025: The only place in the world where you can see Baltic and North Sea. Astonish view. The waitress was nice and courteous. The food is okay. You get what you offer from the menu. We had fish and chips and the bread with shrimp. All were self-made but for both of us too greasy/oily. Especially the bread with shrimp. The shrimp were fresh but the bread was full of oil or butter but what I said, you get what you ordered. It was described in the menu. But it wasn't our taste. But nice place and typical nice danish service. I love it.

10/05/2025: Well worth a visit. Very good food. I had the prawns which came on toast with a lovely sauce. Great views of the sand dunes and ships in the distance. Internal and external seating
