Forget about stars and reviews – here it's all about real, uncomplicated gastronomy. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted by a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The staff are both professional and friendly and are always ready to help. It is clear that they love their work and it rubs off on the guests. The menu offers a number of delicious dishes, and if you are in doubt about what to choose, the staff is helpful with good advice. I myself have had the pleasure of tasting their famous shooting star several times, and each time it has been an extraordinary taste experience. The fresh ingredients and the creative preparation are in a class of their own. I've eaten shooting stars in many places, but none compare to Nerd. It is simply the best I have ever tasted. I was so excited when I first visited the restaurant that I could hardly believe that it was possible to make such a perfect shooting star. But every time I return, the quality is just as high. 13/09/2025: We chose the café over the restaurant, and it was a great experience: the fish and chips were excellent, the prawn dish (rajemad) superb, the staff were welcoming and helpful, and the location was beautiful. Well done!

11/09/2025: This restaurant is located right on the entrance "where the North Sea meets the Baltic Sea." The service was very friendly. Unfortunately, the selection was limited to a single slice of cake. There were also warm dishes available, but we didn't want to eat them due to time constraints. The ambiance is unfortunately dated. However, the view of the beach is very nice.

03/09/2025: The worst flatfish I've had. Burnt outside, uncooked inside. Waited 2h for my meal. We were 12 people, everyone got their meals in different times. I will never come back.

02/09/2025: The location is excellent; we love the proximity to the sea and the taste of the water. We sat outside and felt very comfortable and well served. The service was very attentive and explained to us how things work. The food came quickly and was very good! The mussels were great, the crab cakes were great, and the dessert was great. Everything was top-notch. The drinks were also amazing. Cool atmosphere, nice young people, and excellent food. I'll probably come back today 😋

21/09/2025: Five of us ate together and it was a real pleasure for all of us. The food was absolutely fantastic – fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The service was warm, attentive and made us feel really welcome. The restaurant was a wonderful discovery for us and we will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

10/04/2025: We got a 3-course menu (and a simple side dish, of interest) with a wine menu. Both the food and the wine were a super nice experience, it's a place we will return to and can recommend it warmly. Although the restaurants were almost full and a large self-catered next door, we can't put our finger on anything.

13/09/2025: For the very steep prices of this restaurant, you get to little food. If I pay 25€ for food, I expect to at least not be hungry after eating. Sadly the food also wasnt very good. The servers were very nice.

03/09/2025: Just ate shooting stars at “Friske Fisk” If I was blindfolded, I wouldn’t be able to guess what I ate. It’s the worst shooting stars I’ve ever tasted!

18/08/2025: A nice selection of fresh and smoked fish. However, the smoked varieties were very salty. Quite high prices for e.g. cold cuts. Their fish dishes are really good.

12/10/2024: Fantastic food in a wonderful ambience. Service top notch and the food is always amazing. We had lunch and happy about the lunch menu being smaller portions. It has always been a fantastic experience eating in this lovely restaurant.

04/08/2025: Could be a full pot of stars but the customer toilet is a let down. The toilet was disgusting the underside of the seat was several days of dried urine and black pipe bend missing hand paper not cleaned the pizza tasted a bit strange and I think there were black dots on the underside. But otherwise the price was okay

06/09/2025: We were greeted by smiling and friendly staff, and the service was quick. Unfortunately the food was not very good, my husband got chicken salad, a very small portion, and there was more salad than chicken!!! My fish fillet was fried in rancid oil! So we were not as satisfied as the last time we were here.

30/08/2025: The atmosphere was nice and cosy until a pungent odour of drain suddenly hit us! We sat just opposite of the kitchen door and next to the toilets. It was awful but luckily we were done eating. The fish was too salty, unfortunately. Main meal very small with a little piece of cod and 3 tortellinis. Dessert was a chocolate mousse, quite nice but topped with a tasteless and chewy merengue. Unnecessary! More chocolate mousse and less trying to be chichi. Most surprising part of the dinner: the bill If you choose entry of the day, main of the day and dessert of the day you pay less then for the 3-course menu consisting of the exact same 3 dishes. The waitress argued that if’s the chef who sets the prices and this is how it’s done in Denmark. Well, so be it, but we won’t return in this case and felt a bit fooled. However, lovely Pinot Noir!
