13/09/2025: I visited ILUKA about a year ago, and it’s still one of the meals I think of whenever I think back to Copenhagen. Everything was so flavorful I could hardly sit still while eating, and even the simple oysters were outstanding. I’d love to come back again!

16/07/2026: This is a good restaurant. The view is excellent and so is the atmosphere. The make OK burgers. The taste is well balanced and with the supplied double cheese and bacon it is quite good. The other dishes they serve are also very good. Enjoy your meal with good wine or beer Prices are very reasonable, the service is great so this place gets my recommendation.

09/03/2026: Today we had a lunch reservation at your restaurant to celebrate our wedding together with my husband and my parents. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived. When we entered, a waitress in her fifties with short hair immediately asked us, in a rather abrupt tone, whether we were planning to close the door behind us or if she had to do it herself. We had not noticed that the door had not closed automatically, so this came as a surprise to us. She did not show us where we could hang our coats, so we brought them with us to the table. Shortly afterwards, she approached us again and told us, in a very rude manner, that we were putting her health at risk and that she might slip on my coat and “break all of her bones.” We were shocked by the tone and the way we were spoken to. As a result, we decided to leave immediately and celebrate elsewhere. What was meant to be a special celebration for our wedding turned into a very upsetting experience. I would strongly encourage you to look into how your staff interacts with customers, as this was by far the worst service experience we have ever had.

27/11/2025: The ordering’s so easy peasy! Wait time after ordering was perfect—no dragging. Tons of dish options, and the kids went crazy for ’em. We had an absolute blast that night!

13/11/2025: Not sure about anything. We got "All You Can Eat" and ordered over 2 rounds. The second round took 30 minutes, so I had to ask the waiter if the order went through. 3 minutes later she came with half the order. We weren't the only disappointed customers that day. Another table experienced the same problem as us, and also went up and asked for their order after a long wait... A Take Away customer only got a small part of his large order and had to wait for the rest. Chaos evening. The food was generally good, but maybe made quickly, as some of the fish on my nigiri was almost freezer cold. It's usually good at Izumi Frederiksberg, so I'm very disappointed with Izumi Charlottenlund.

10/08/2026: Bendixens Fiskehandel is definitely worth a visit. You can get most fish and good homemade fish salads. The prices are ok. Note that the store also has a smaller fish grill shop that is open when the store selling fish is closed. A portion of Fish and Chips costs around the price is approx. 100 kr. I myself use Bendixens Fiskehandel a lot when I want to serve lunch with a number of small fish dishes. Guests usually ask with interest where they can buy the tasty fish themselves(?) In Svendborg the answer is always - Fish is best bought at Bendixens Fiskehandel!

15/06/2026: Do not eat here if u don’t want to be disappointed!!! The food was actually quite good, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed what could have been a pleasant breakfast. When we were asked what we would like to drink, we simply requested water. At no point were we informed that this water would cost an additional 70 DKK (10€) for two people. Only after paying did we notice the charge on the receipt. What made the situation worse was the attitude when we asked about it. Instead of a professional and understanding explanation, we were met with a sarcastic tone that made us feel unwelcome and as if our question was unreasonable. Customers should never feel uncomfortable for asking about charges on their bill. The water itself was also disappointing. We were told it was good-quality water, yet the taste was unpleasant enough that we barely drank it. Paying extra for something we hardly touched and were never properly informed about felt frustrating and misleading. Transparency matters. If water is not complimentary, customers should be clearly informed before ordering. A simple warning would have prevented this entire negative experience. Good food alone is not enough to make up for poor communication, unexpected charges, and an unfriendly attitude. Sadly, despite enjoying the breakfast, we left feeling disappointed rather than satisfied. I would not return, and I would advise future customers to carefully check the menu and ask about every extra charge before ordering.

24/08/2026: Definitely the best fish sandwich in town! Made fresh to order with high-quality, fresh ingredients. Highly recommended, also for takeaway. I'll definitely be back next time.

15/08/2026: The fish was well fried, but the parsley sauce tasted of absolutely nothing and you had to look for the parsley for a long time. It had the appearance of being a base sauce from a bucket, a bit of a shame considering the price.

15/08/2026: Cozy place by the water with the opportunity to relax or enjoy good company with friends or family. Possibility of different types of food in various stalls. And at events you must have booked a table. Super nice statue and the opportunity to walk to the long line or up towards Copenhagen

05/08/2026: My girlfriend had a birthday on 03-08, and it was to be celebrated. We have eaten countless times at OASIA, and the food is always good. However, the service has been admittedly lacking. But this time 03-08, we were completely blown away. There was one female waiter for the entire restaurant (Not a busy day). She was very attentive to whether you were missing anything, and showed great enthusiasm. So it was the best experience we had had in a long time.

30/04/2026: I've been really excited about this place, but I think they're slacking off a bit. This time I ordered a menu for one person, it seems like it's usually fresher and the wasabi was decidedly dry. Practice, practice, tighten your buttocks and get back to the good and varied quality.

18/08/2026: You don't feel particularly welcome here if you just want coffee and cake. The "Chocolate biscuit cake with almonds" is only available if you've ordered one of the main courses beforehand. The espresso was from a Nespresso capsule. A group's bill cannot be split; this is clearly stated on the menu. There's a smell of rotten seaweed coming from the harbor. The coconut cookie was good, though.

09/08/2026: The food was very underwhelming. And make sure to not get the potatoes, they are expensive and taste like they come from a can.

23/05/2026: We went as a larger group of around 40. Despite circumstances causing us to be over an hour delayed, the restaurant gave excellent service, didn't rush anything, and provided a nice and relaxed atmosphere. Even with such a large party of people, they managed to serve everyone at the same time, so no one had to sit and wait while other dined. The food itself was good, and portion sizes very fitting. Can recommend if you are in the area.
