01/09/2026: We had a really lovely experience at Admiralen. The restaurant is incredibly cozy and has a warm and relaxed atmosphere, where you immediately feel welcome. The food was really good and had the touch of good craftsmanship and good ingredients. The dishes were tasty and well-prepared without being unnecessarily complicated. We had a starter of lobster and a main course of pigeon with chanterelles and blackberries. The pigeon was well-prepared and very tender. What made the evening especially special was the high and very personal service. The service was sweet, attentive and professional. When I accidentally ordered a Gewurtstraminer, which I usually find too sweet, the waiter immediately offered to find something else that suited my taste better, despite the fact that he opened the bottle for me. I ended up with a lovely glass of Burgundy, served in a real Burgundy glass – a small detail, but a good example of the sense of guest experience that we experienced throughout the evening. A really nice evening with excellent food, good ingredients and service at a high level. We will definitely come again even though we don't live in Kolding.

16/07/2026: This is a good restaurant. The view is excellent and so is the atmosphere. The make OK burgers. The taste is well balanced and with the supplied double cheese and bacon it is quite good. The other dishes they serve are also very good. Enjoy your meal with good wine or beer Prices are very reasonable, the service is great so this place gets my recommendation.

15/06/2026: Do not eat here if u don’t want to be disappointed!!! The food was actually quite good, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed what could have been a pleasant breakfast. When we were asked what we would like to drink, we simply requested water. At no point were we informed that this water would cost an additional 70 DKK (10€) for two people. Only after paying did we notice the charge on the receipt. What made the situation worse was the attitude when we asked about it. Instead of a professional and understanding explanation, we were met with a sarcastic tone that made us feel unwelcome and as if our question was unreasonable. Customers should never feel uncomfortable for asking about charges on their bill. The water itself was also disappointing. We were told it was good-quality water, yet the taste was unpleasant enough that we barely drank it. Paying extra for something we hardly touched and were never properly informed about felt frustrating and misleading. Transparency matters. If water is not complimentary, customers should be clearly informed before ordering. A simple warning would have prevented this entire negative experience. Good food alone is not enough to make up for poor communication, unexpected charges, and an unfriendly attitude. Sadly, despite enjoying the breakfast, we left feeling disappointed rather than satisfied. I would not return, and I would advise future customers to carefully check the menu and ask about every extra charge before ordering.

10/08/2026: Bendixens Fiskehandel is definitely worth a visit. You can get most fish and good homemade fish salads. The prices are ok. Note that the store also has a smaller fish grill shop that is open when the store selling fish is closed. A portion of Fish and Chips costs around the price is approx. 100 kr. I myself use Bendixens Fiskehandel a lot when I want to serve lunch with a number of small fish dishes. Guests usually ask with interest where they can buy the tasty fish themselves(?) In Svendborg the answer is always - Fish is best bought at Bendixens Fiskehandel!

23/09/2026: Practice! Practice! Practice! What a shame - Blåvand Fiskerestaurant is in no way what it used to be! Today it has been transformed into a tourist trap, where the goal is to cram as many people as possible into the smallest possible space and get people out the door as quickly as possible, so that a few more times can be turned over at the same table. I have nothing against making good money, but now it has become far too crude and far too obvious that it is now only about profit maximization. The food is not at all what it used to be, it lacks decoration, richness, the impression of being made with pride and grandeur. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very bad with incredibly LOUD SPEAKING, people almost have to shout to drown out other guests, as the acoustics are completely lousy, as there are plaster ceilings. You can clearly hear everyone else's conversations from a long distance in the restaurant. Some partitions and some acoustic ceiling could remedy the problem. At the same time, there is absolutely NO coziness or environment in the restaurant - it is only a feeding place for those who wander in. It is probably typical one-time tourists by now. We have found a far, far better alternative to the restaurant in Hvide Sande instead, which has coziness, good atmosphere and absolutely fantastic food.

18/09/2026: Unfortunately, I can't comment on the food, as we weren't served and left the restaurant after some time without having ordered anything. The woman who served us was then very unfriendly. Never again!

31/08/2026: A very nice place with a great view of the harbor. Fresh fish in several forms with friendly owners. Other dishes too (burgers, etc.), but we return only the fish. We were not disappointed.

30/08/2026: Delicious shooting stars and plenty of them

07/09/2026: Cozy atmosphere and good location. Unfortunately the soup was half cold and thick as gravy. The pan-fried plaice was soft, moist and without much flavor. As someone who eats a lot of fish, often some that come straight from the cutter, the plaice didn't seem particularly fresh. It came with 7 small new potatoes, which I could have wished for more of as they were the best part of the main course. On the other hand, the Ærø pancakes were super good and a positive end to an otherwise somewhat disappointing experience. So 2 stars for atmosphere and dessert.

07/08/2026: An authentic, small restaurant on the island of Livø. The buffet offered local cuisine in all its forms, from the unusual to the exquisite – there was something for everyone. We certainly enjoyed it and will fondly remember this restaurant.

10/09/2026: We weren't very satisfied. The smoked salmon was way too salty. The Krydder sild tasted very strongly of cloves and was overly sweet. The fish cakes, however, were good in terms of taste and seasoning. 😌

27/08/2026: Got 2 x delicious shooting stars and a fish dish for the dog. Lots of food at a good price, left full.

09/09/2026: The herring salad was very good, the lobster bisque was okay. I found the prices rather high considering the portion sizes. Terrace with a lovely view of the small harbor.

05/09/2026: I've had lobster soup all over Copenhagen, and nothing there comes close to this one — it's simply the best I've tasted. The beef tartare was equally impressive. You could tell straight away that the chef genuinely knows his craft; the flavours were beautifully layered and wonderfully complex, without ever feeling overdone. The beer selection is excellent, and it's a lovely touch that you can pick up a bottle of wine to take home with you. The desserts were plated with a level of finesse that wouldn't look out of place in a Michelin-starred restaurant. I'd especially urge you to try the biscuit cake — it was an absolute delight. And to top it all off, the sea view is simply gorgeous, making the whole experience even more special. Highly, highly recommended.

05/08/2026: My girlfriend had a birthday on 03-08, and it was to be celebrated. We have eaten countless times at OASIA, and the food is always good. However, the service has been admittedly lacking. But this time 03-08, we were completely blown away. There was one female waiter for the entire restaurant (Not a busy day). She was very attentive to whether you were missing anything, and showed great enthusiasm. So it was the best experience we had had in a long time.
