07/09/2025: A cult fish restaurant. You place your order at a window. After about 30 minutes, you're called to pick up your food. Very friendly staff. Mostly outdoor seating.

Charming restaurant with personality, vinyls and high-quality food.
They have changing “board dishes” suitable for sharing. Very delicious!
As a basic menu they have beef, fish and veggie burgers.
Also delicious drinks and good beers.
We ate there twice in the evening. It was a pleasure.
Don't know anything about their rooms.

30/08/2025: A lovely, authentic fish restaurant right on the beach. You're practically sitting among the fishing boats moored on the beach in Thorupstrand. Enjoy a delicious fish and chips with the sea in the background, the waves and wind providing background music. Delicious.
My girlfriend and I went there last week and both ordered the fish and chips with a nice beer. The fish is served in a bun, which is absolutely delicious. It looks amazing. Add some fries and enjoy. Yes, just enjoy it without any frills, and after dinner, watch the fishing boats on the beach. Fantastic!

15/08/2025: A fantastic restaurant experience on our last evening in Blokhus. We had a reservation and received a very warm welcome. Before we were shown to our lovingly set table, the attentive staff explained all three buffets to us: appetizers, cold fish delicacies, the hot buffet with a roast station, and then the dessert buffet. Everything was beautifully presented and constantly replenished. A wonderful restaurant experience.

04/08/2025: We were a group of 6 adults and 2 children. We chose the large tasting menu + wine package. Very good! Also very nice and knowledgeable service. Even the children (6 and 8 years old) were happy with the food and service. As an extra plus we got our own room.
Update 2025: still top notch - fantastic food and nice and personal service. Same room as last year.

24/06/2025: The fish is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. If you want fries with it, go to the McDonald's across the street. At Fiskehuset, the fries are dark, crispy, and dry.
04/06/2025: Stopped here spontaneously for lunch; very friendly service and a great view of the marina. The fish was really delicious, too. Parking right in front, everything was great.
