Very friendly staff!
03/07/2025: The food was ok. The fish was overcooked. But it tasted great. It was also a little overpriced. I paid 149 kr. The atmosphere was very nice. I sat outside and ate while looking at the harbour.

22/06/2025: A very friendly welcome from young people. Great view. The restaurant is very warm. The food from the blackboard (Danish) is explained in detail and translated. Overall, good bistro cuisine. If you're in Hanstholm, just stop by. Reservations are recommended in the evening.

01/07/2025: We ordered fish n chips for 155 kr per person, which we thought was on the expensive side.
The cod was very anonymous in taste (tasteless) and lacked salt, we didn't finish it.

The tables are on the beach which added to the atmosphere

01/06/2025: We got fish there.
We knew the usual prices per kilo.
But the store beats everything.
160 kroner per kilo more than we paid later on the Baltic Sea.
Everywhere the price is displayed per half kilo.
Here it's per 100g.
And unfortunately, the taste didn't compare to the other fish we bought.

20/06/2025: Quite a good restaurant. The two of us paid €450 for the 10-course menu with wine pairing. For that price, I think it's a bit lacking in quality. Exciting wines, though the red wine was a bit too cold; good dishes, but the lamb lacked salt and pepper, etc.
Professional service and nevertheless worth a visit, if you can tolerate the minor flaws and the rather high price...

04/05/2025: Vi holdte vores datter konfirmations fest på Normanns , Godt samarbejde med planlægning og ønsker, ,super venligt personale. Vi mødte op og alt var til ug, virkeligt flot borddækning , lige efter vores ønske. Maden var fantastisk hele vejen igennem, køkkenet går virkelig op i at alt er i orden. Super lækker fiske og skaldyrs tallerken til forret. Meget velsmagende buffet , lækre salter, vil lige nævne meget lækker oksemørbrad og pommes bl.a og 2 lækre sauce , mm.
God dessert
Kan varmt anbefales at holde fest hos Normanns, vi er så tilfredse og vores gæster ligeså

17/06/2025: Total disappointment – never again.
Visited on June 8th, 2025 after weeks of anticipation. Ordered mussels and ½ lobster. The waitress misunderstood me even after I pointed at the menu. She brought langoustines and insisted that was the lobster. A second waitress confirmed it was a mistake and took a new order.
After waiting while my friends ate, I was finally served… a cold, tasteless ¼ lobster without a tail.
Just look at the photo – that’s what they call "½ lobster"?
To top it off: one mussel was spoiled.
€160 for this? Laughable and insulting.
Never coming back, and would never recommend this place to anyone.

The location right next to the North Sea with a fantastic sunset completes the incredibly lovely food and wine combination.
The service could not be complained about either!
25/04/2025: A real gem in Lønstrup. 2 nights with 2 dinners at Villa Vest. Cosy, quiet and quality are key words for the place, though. The food and wine selection at their Villa Vest restaurant is exquisite. Young staff, but nice calm and relaxed top service. We have spent the days on creative work, where there are many corners - where you can sit and work - inside and outside the hotel. Thank you for 2 lovely days. Best regards and see you soon

14/06/2025: We had the most delicious picnic/tapas from here today. Everything was packed in nice disposable bowls, with handwritten menu cards. We picked up the day before, so we got extra service, as the herbs were packed separately in 6 other bowls. They were all so fresh and delicious. I would really recommend thinking of their tapas as a picnic. Wow, it was simply fantastic to have delicious gourmet food out in nature. Super nice service with the 6 extra bowls and notes about where they belonged. THANK YOU

21/06/2025: We absolutely loved the fish buffet and it tasted amazing!! Unbeatable value for money. Great dishes. Even if you're not a big fish eater, you'll leave feeling deliciously full. The fish soup: a poem! ❤️
Even though the waitress was so young, they did a great job! 🦾
We've always loved coming here on our vacations and are thrilled that it remains such a great place for us!
13/06/2025: Since there was nothing vegetarian on the menu, we asked in advance as hotel guests passing through and were served a vegetarian dish, which was very tasty.
Unfortunately, breakfast wasn't prepared for vegetarian food either, and there was no buffet (yet), but rather ready-made plates. The waitress quickly replaced the sausage with cheese, but you could have asked in advance what you'd like for breakfast.

04/07/2025: Karlssons Fisketallerken and Stjerneskud are recommended. And it was nice to have a place that offers children something other than the usual nuggets, fries and meatballs. The youngest in the family was happy that you could get Stjerneskud for children 🥰.
Service was top notch and with attention to all guests.
There is limited space inside and in windy weather it is quite cool on the terrace - but all in all a really nice place.

The steaks didn't taste of anything and the bearnaise sauce didn't taste good.
07/07/2025: Came to Denmark on. Motorbike for the day via Norway. Had just enough time to find lunch and make the ferry back. This place was spectacular unlit, quaint, on the harbor, overlooking many boats, the owner and staff we genuine and a pleasure to talk to. Will definitely find my way back.
