18/04/2025: My wife and I had yet another great meal at this restaurant this afternoon. The two course meal was outstanding, the dessert was a whole ‘nother kind of good. We have been going to this restaurant off and on over the past two years. Always great (and friendly) customer service plus we have never had a bad meal… the food has never disappointed. Well Done to all at Den Blå Bistro!

Can't say how the experience might have been earlier in the day, but 10 min. before closing time it's as good as closed, as all service etc. is gone...
(The food was also thrown into the bag, and napkins had to be found back..)
28/03/2025: The food is okay, one screen is broken. We are told we can order takeaway as there is 15 minutes until they close.
The young boy who makes our burger is angry, rude and throws our food together and into the bag.
The burger tasted fine because of the ingredients, but it was just thrown together and fell apart in the bag.
Also, bags were just thrown across the desk as well as with a flabby attitude. The bag contains no napkins.

05/10/2024: Cozy place, was only there a short time.
10/08/2024: Most expensive and worst burger. No love in the kitchen. Missing onions, missing a pack of fries. DKK 343 for 3 very boring burgers. The bun was hard as a rock, the composition of the burger was completely wrong, mayo on the bottom and ketchup on top with salad. Spend the money elsewhere.

07/03/2025: I called and was told the pizza was ready in 20 minutes, when I arrived I could see they were busy and I got no help at the counter. After waiting 20 minutes OVER THE TIME I got impatient and made some eye contact indicating I needed help. Then a girl came over and said they were going to process my order in a few minutes.
That means it should take 20 minutes, but it would take over an hour?!
I just moved to vamdrup and I now know where NOT to order pizza.
Cannot be recommended

17/06/2025: Generously sized pizzas in a restaurant which is more for takeaway than eat in. Friendly service and quick.
20/04/2025: Second time we ordered food. It was stupid. Not very appetizing. We had to look for brown salad and the chicken in a sandwich. Ordered fries with salt, got soft and sloppy fries with seasoning. It was the very last time we ordered from there. Edit and add

14/06/2025: The new owner is extremely rude, not at all service minded. Twice he has made an order wrong by the same person, where he can easily make the others right. Last time he didn't bother to make the order again. He hadn't even made the right order, even though he had it repeated 3 times. Rude, and the quality obviously depends on how much he personally likes the customer.
10/06/2025: It's pathetic! A toasted hotdog, a bit bland and small and they charge a whole 45kr for it!!! The sausage tastes cheap and very watery, the bread bland and soft, can't recommend it. High prices and bland food..

13/07/2025: We always use this hotel, good location in the middle of the city and always clean and tidy, and friendly service.
And good breakfast, and parking nearby.
13/07/2025: Nice location and the staff do their best with what they have, but the hotel is a poorly made-up corpse and the omnipresent and overwhelming smell of air freshener makes me nervous about what it is intended to mask.
Footsteps in the hallway are so clearly audible that you could wake up and think someone is walking around your room, if it weren't for the fact that it never gets completely dark because of the thin curtains.
It seems reasonably clean apart from the smell, but all in all it is neither a nice nor relaxing place to be.

20/07/2025: Nice place. Good food. Good bubble tea. But on a hot summer day you can't sit inside. We were lucky that we could get one of the few tables that were outside.
