17/07/2026: One of my absolute favorite watering holes in Odense! Nice selection of both classics and new beers. Good outdoor area. Nice dark "krostue". The service is top notch and you can eat your food from the surrounding eateries. Definitely the best draft beer place in town! 🔥

31/05/2026: Came in after a concert and wanted to drink a beer and get warm but no you could only sit on the covered terrace the tables were covered up until today which only opens today at 11.30

22/06/2026: Very dated hotel, not very well maintained or cleaned., with no air conditioning, so your only source of fresh air is opening a window. Rooms are noisy, as windows are quite dated. I do understand that hat this is a historic building, and that one may want to maintain its originality but I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels located inside heritage and historical buildings, which managed to keep the original feel but at the same time bring it up to today’s minimum hospitality standards and cleanliness. Hiding behind the statement that this is a preserved historical building, is not an excuse. Would definitely consider other hotels in the area during my next stay. This one has failed miserably in even preserving the history of the building.

19/06/2026: This breakfast was unbelievable. The room is nice enough. No handicap ramps have to carry your luggage up the steps and down steps all over. The hotel looks like it acquired 2 other properties so it could expand. No refrigerator but they allow you to keep things in one at the front desk. Clean and neat. Parking is a mess they don’t have any so hopefully you caught the train or ride a bike here. If you have a car you have to park down the street. Not in either of the parking garages they don’t have any agreements. Other than parking lovely and located right in the heart of the dinning area.

03/06/2026: We were six guests who had booked a table for a Friday evening in May. We were warmly welcomed by the waiters, who served us in a light and informal manner and showed us to a table near the entrance and close to a party room. All six ordered the blackboard menu. We also ordered some oysters to share. As well as bubbles and wine. The evening started really well with oysters followed by a delicious starter. 4 of the guests had chosen fish from the blackboard menu, while the last two had chosen bavette. The dishes were served at the same time, but unfortunately the beef was cut incorrectly, so it was tough and inedible. It was therefore sent back. A while later a new serving came, where there were fewer pieces of meat than on the first dish – and the kitchen had forgotten to prepare potatoes for this serving and these only arrived when the dish had been eaten. A shame not to be able to eat together as a group. Then there was dessert – cake or cheese. The cake was nothing special. Unfortunately, there was a party next to us, where the noise level increased in step with their wine intake. The waiters tried in vain to get them to quiet down. There were many other empty tables in the restaurant, but even though the waiters apologized for the noise, we were not offered another table. We could have asked for it ourselves, but…. I was sitting at the far end and had difficulty hearing what my fellow guests were talking about. It got worse when the other party broke up and had to leave the restaurant, where there was very loud talking, tending to shouting, at the exit… right next to our table. As compensation, we were given a discount on the price of two cups of coffee and two glasses of red wine – due to the noise and delayed serving. Whether that is a reasonable discount I must leave to others to judge. Actually, I was on my way out the door this Friday evening ready to give 1 star, as the evening fell far short of my expectations, but a few days later I will let the place's potential benefit them and give 2 stars.

03/01/2026: The best Indian on Funen. One of the items was forgotten in my order. I didn't check it in the restaurant, so I only discovered it when I got home, but after a short call I got a refund.

07/06/2026: What an amazing evening. We chose the nine course menu, which follows a kind of social dining principle, where several courses are put in the middle of the table and you share. Ranging from creative little delicacies to honest local staples, the food is very satisfying and tasty. (Although there could have been a few more vegetarian courses for my taste.) There were two surprise dishes, bringing the total number of courses to 11! And the craziest thing: on Fridays and Saturdays, the menu includes all you can drink wine, beer, sodas, water, coffee, tea.. Basically any drink you can imagine including alcohol-free wine. You serve yourself from a bar or ask the very friendly staff for the drink. The location is modern but in a traditional building. You get vibes of the old Odense. We can wholeheartedly recommend!!

05/05/2026: Burnt legs… corn on the cob with butter… where the corn on the cob is so cold before the butter has melted in the slightest. (Impressive) Baked crust with garlic butter that is so cold that the solid butter blob was hotter than the potato.. - and no refund / discount / deduction. Even though you complained
