Room, restaurant and bar
27/03/2026: Lovely hotel, close to the pedestrian streets and great breakfast buffet.
We only stay at the Grand Hotel when we are often in Odense.

I went over again to buy chicken in curry and Peking duck, it was delicious as usual.
It is a good restaurant, they are friendly and polite and provide a good service.

31/01/2026: I have previously been satisfied with ChiliHouse, but today the experience was unacceptable. I received the wrong dish and there were rotten vegetables in the food. The staff did not take responsibility when contacted. The quality and portion sizes have clearly deteriorated. I will not shop here again and will contact the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration.

07/09/2025: The food is really good, made while you wait, so freshly prepared. The price is moderate. The interior of the place is a bit boring, could be more cozy.
You can eat on site outside and inside. You can also get food taken out

18/01/2026: We passedby asked if we could have something to drink and maybe some bites. A young girl pointed to a corner where we could pick a table ourselves. After 15-20 minutes we left without any further contact with the waitresses. They never came by and we had a lot of neighbors with empty glasses and dirty tables. Upon leaving there where just three girls busy talking to eachother behind the cashier, that they didn't even notice us leaving.
11/01/2026: It's really slow going and the waiters are just standing around drinking coffee.

23/01/2026: Got two durum delivered 30 minutes late. Both were completely inedible. Poor quality meat, they were roasted and heated so much that all the vegetables were completely cooked through. The bread was soggy that the rolls fell apart

15/02/2026: Absolutely delicious takeaway from a family-run micro-restaurant. Not cheap, but very few places are in Odense, and the quality was absolutely top notch. Bear in mind there is an extra ~10% charge for paying with a non-EU card (even Monzo!) and prices seem to be a little cheaper if you order online rather than in person. The owner was very patient with us while we figured this out. All in all, highly recommended - especially the shrimp in lime sauce!
07/01/2026: Small restaurant with space for 14 people, very nice atmosphere and a friendly host couple. Delicious food and large portions, cooked with love. We ordered fried rice, duck in a red curry sauce and sweet and sour chicken.

Small, cozy and intimate restaurant.
Lovely interior environment.
The only thing I have to say was that I thought I waited a little long for my main course, even though I ordered it at the same time as the appetizer. Otherwise, it was simply wonderful food.
