25/06/2025: This adorable little restaurant is the epitome of a hidden gem. Tucked away in a little side street in vesterbro, you may miss it but for the green fun MadGlad sign. There's a meal of the day ( either veggie or meat) which comes with a selection of beautiful and colourful salads. The vibe is super cozy. If you are looking for an affordable dinner option while in Copenhagen, this is your place. We had a nice time. The lady who served us was a delight. Highly recommended

25/06/2025: Spectacular pizzeria with a family atmosphere. The pizzas are like we haven't had in a long time. The staff treats you like you're at home. Make sure you leave room for the tiramisu—absolutely delicious.

06/07/2025: Perfect. Good selection, both classic and new varieties. Lots of flavor, good consistency. Long queue, but with enough staff to keep things moving pretty quickly. There was a very sour smell in the place, so we chose to eat the ice cream outside.

07/07/2025: We chose this place to try traditional Smørrebrød on our first visit to Copenhagen. It is a small and cute place. Since it was full, we sat at the table in front of the door. We tried the chicken salad, spicy pickled herring and egg shrimp. All three products we tried were delicious. The presentation was very nice and meticulous. The salt content was high because the herring was pickled. The staff was very kind and inviting. Thank you 🌿

03/06/2025: Really great fresh Smøresbrod in a very nice atmosphere! We had the Lachs and Avocado, Danish Meatballs and special white and green asparagus. All were very tasty, we really enjoyed it. All at a reasonable price. I recommend coming here!

16/05/2025: Great tradicional danish food. Smorrebrod which is like open face sandwich. We tried different ones but I would like to specially mention meckerel one and cod cakes one. We were 5 people and had 8 dishes to share. Great service and quick. Toilets cleaned. Thank you!

24/06/2025: Fantastic and attentive service. Food was slightly underwhelming - ordered the arancini was somehow both under seasoned and overly salty. Calamari was the highlight. Burrata with peaches that weren't ripe and burrata was of low quality. A generally nice ambience although music didn't really fit. The cost did not justify the quality, would not return but again service was really good.

17/06/2025: I visited the place with my erfa group of about 14 people. We had incredibly delicious food and absolutely fantastic service from a young Italian waiter, who did everything he could to ensure that we had a really nice evening. When I wanted to skip dessert because I can't tolerate refined sugar, he (with the help of the chef of course) conjured up a sugar-free dessert for me. I highly recommend the place ☺️

29/04/2025: Best coffee I had during my 6-months staying in Copenaghen without any doubts. I suggest to try this wonderful cup of coffee with one of their Cardamom bun and/or a Bolle med Ost, which were both great. Price range is the standard for a CPH cafeteria, with the sole exception that this one worth every kr.

02/07/2025: Phew... It's really hard for me to write this, but it's a fact: For our current visit (end of June 2025), I can only give the above rating. I'd give the service half a star - but the second waitress that evening ended up calling us "stupid Germans who have no clue," which was really unpleasant. And for the food, I should actually deduct half a star if you compare it to the first meal at Høfde4. To explain the "frequency" of our visits: Whenever we're on vacation on the Danish west coast, we try to plan an evening there. The first time we were there, the food really blew us away! Incredibly creative, innovative, extremely high-quality food, as regional as possible. Explosions of flavors not just in every course or starter, no: in almost every single bite! Our Irish waitress was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating—and not a single one of my many questions was too silly for him; quite the opposite. Yes, it's definitely expensive. And, yes, the portions are relatively small (which is perfect for me). But what was offered was (at least for my husband and me) an absolute experience! Five-star food Five-star service The second visit, a year later, was also very good, no question about it! But perhaps we also had very high expectations. Nevertheless, it was another wonderful evening with very delicious food. The last visit: Our first waitress was very friendly, explained everything to us, including why she would reschedule a chosen intermediate course, which we gratefully accepted. Unfortunately, the waitress changed after the second of five courses—we're not used to that. This lady was very tense, avoided eye contact, and didn't smile once. When I then told her (when asked if she enjoyed it) that I found the heavily truffled sauce to be too strong for the Wagyu beef, that was all over. About the food - but not in detail, just the points of criticism: For one course - you can choose from up to six courses plus side orders, etc., and there are two dishes to choose from each - I persuaded my husband to have "Pani Puri": Indian street food. These fragile, small, crispy dough balls with a filling and usually also a liquid (e.g., mint water or something similar) are always placed whole in the mouth and have always(!) offered me an explosion of flavor. Well... there definitely wasn't any here. I don't even think it's a big deal that they didn't make the dough for the puri themselves, but used wafers instead. The truly disappointing thing was that the most important ingredient, namely the "pani," the seasoned water that makes EVERYTHING, was missing! The filling wasn't that dry, but it also wasn't even close to what Pani Puri is all about. I wouldn't even give it a single star for that: pure disappointment. As for the "extra treat," the Wagyu: I'm fully aware that Wagyu is extremely far from "low-fat." The small piece I had was also surrounded by thick patches of fat on the outside. Okay, tough luck. But the fact that the advertised "truffle sauce" really overpowered EVERY meat flavor was a real shame. Of course, the truffle sauce was advertised, but we've never been disappointed in terms of aromas and flavor, so I trusted it. Despite carefully "scraping off" the sauce, the disappointment was still huge. Now, a quick word about the "wild garlic gratinated crown of lamb": The meat was so extremely fatty and sinewy, unlike any other crown of lamb I've ever eaten, whether homemade or in a restaurant. It didn't look any better on my husband's plate. And (perhaps I'm being picky here), by "gratinated," I don't mean lukewarm herb paste. All in all, it's just a shame.

07/07/2025: I have to say that there are some nice people behind the counter, but I was very disappointed when I saw that there was almost no meat on the salad pizza I bought. I will also say that it is quite a price for what you get. 200kr for 2 okay pizzas, so I will not buy from here again.
