01/06/2026: Restaurant Frederikshøj – must be among Denmark's absolute best restaurants. From the first step into the restaurant you are greeted by smiles, presence and an impressively high level of service. The renovation has been carried out with great taste, and both the service, wine menu and servings fully live up to the beautiful surroundings. For me, Frederikshøj is simply the best Michelin restaurant on this side of the Great Belt.

02/07/2026: stumbled across this place because i was too tired to drag my luggage from Central station to my intended destination for lunch, so i deviated here without even looking at the reviews. the staffs were super friendly and welcoming and i thought why not? ordered the Pork Tenderloin and goodness it was really delicious. the onions, the jam compote blended so well together and the pork was so tender - effortless cutting. it was super cosy to just sit outside and enjoy the breeze while sipping a glass of local lager. highly recommend and i will come back again when i am in town.

13/06/2026: Another fantastic lunch at Café Gammeltorv. You are always greeted by the sweet owners with smiles, warmth and a feeling of being welcome – and there is always a table ready. The kitchen is constantly creating little masterpieces on the plates, where both presentation and taste merge into a higher unity. The food is not only beautiful to look at, it also tastes absolutely fantastic. It is clear that love and care are put into every single dish. We will definitely be back – in a month at the latest.

22/07/2026: Food was not particularly interesting compared to the prize. We ordered a Toledo Dish which was way too small and not anything special compared to the price. The poke ball was okay, but again compared to the prize not worth. You could probably make it more interesting yourself. The desert was just a scoop of chocolate ice cream … not worth the money at all…

16/07/2026: Really delicious and flavorful food and super friendly and fast service. We ordered the evening burger, luxury shooting stars and fish'n chips, which were really deliciously prepared and super flavorful. Worth all the stars.

03/07/2026: There was a party sitting somewhere in the far corner, they needed a microphone and that meant that the speech was broadcasted through all the restaurant's speakers. It should be possible to disconnect the speakers. It was disturbing for our small party (4 people) that we were forced to hear the other party's speech and it was quite loud, so we had difficulty hearing each other.

03/07/2026: The only cinema in Odense that has everything for a real movie night. Great atmosphere, lovely café with delicious food and friendly people to serve us, as well as new cinema halls! I'm already looking forward to my next trip 🌟🤩🌟

29/07/2026: We ordered pizza to go, it was very tasty and all pizzas were available gluten-free. I've never had such a good gluten-free pizza in Germany.

29/03/2026: We had the pleasure of visiting restaurant Vår last Friday. A truly fantastic and cozy evening, with incredibly delicious food and top-class wine. The service and atmosphere from Jacob and his amazing staff was super good, professional and relaxing. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

09/03/2026: Restaurant Vår A gastronomic experience of a very high standard. The expression and taste of the dishes are right up to Michelin level, and the wines are both interesting and well chosen. The calm and pleasant service completes the experience in the finest way. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

19/07/2026: A wonderful boutique bakery with delicious products and exceptionally friendly staff. They have been in business since 1900, and you can truly feel the tradition and quality. We went there for breakfast and tried four different pastries—each one was absolutely delicious. Our child asked for a glass of milk, and they kindly didn't charge us for it. Such a thoughtful gesture made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

25/06/2026: Herthadalen provided the most beautiful setting for our summer wedding. From planning to the execution of our wedding, we were in safe hands with the sweetest staff. I would not hesitate to hold other events here again.

18/06/2026: Beautiful view and lovely landscape. Very friendly service. It was definitely worth the visit. Coffee was good. The hot food, and pastry (carrot cake) however, didn’t feel fresh at all. And the price charged was higher than in the online menu :). Below butter chicken picture.

17/07/2026: Heard beforehand that this restaurant was excellent but my experience was nothing short of catastrophic. The staff asked me to switch table in the middle of the meal, the kitchen subsequently messed up our order, a catastrophic dinner. Asked to pay the bill before finishing the main course so I could leave. Ruined the date with my wife.

11/07/2026: Came for lunch. We were the only ones in the restaurant, so a bit of a tame atmosphere. Food ok, but not a big menu.

22/07/2026: We were drawn in by the Michelin Guide listing and the prospect of Danish fine-dining at moderate prices. To put it simply: we were not disappointed! Whether the four-course menu for just over 70 euros or individual appetizers and intermediate courses – everything arrived at our terrace table perfectly prepared and presented, or was finished there. We were particularly impressed by the fish and seafood dishes! The way these delicate ingredients are handled immediately reveals whether the kitchen truly understands its craft. Superb! Since the service was also friendly and attentive, we felt very comfortable from the very first moment. On a side note: one thing we'll never get used to in Denmark are the absurdly high restaurant prices for wine.

19/07/2026: Nothing less than excellent food and the friendliest service and with absolutely ok prices when you taste the different dishes which were super well composed. We will be back soon ❤️
