23/08/2025: Really nice experience. We were 4 people and everyone was extremely satisfied. They can really cook a good steak to perfection. They take pride in cooking good food, and not least being there for their guests. The menu changes continuously throughout the year. They have few dishes, but on the other hand they are really good at making those dishes. They know their wines, and white wine is of course kept cold in an ice bucket at the table. We will definitely come again and again.
18/08/2025: Super nice experience and fantastic food. Most of the waiters were super sweet and nice, one was a bit too smart in a hurry, but I was told that he is only there as a holiday/summer helper due to busyness 🙈

29/08/2025: It was a weird experience. The food was good, the ambience is great and the location is also very nice. But one of the staff gave us a very weird experience. We were in a group of 4 with a baby (about 1.8 yrs) The mom simply asked the staff whether they had a microwave to heat up food for her baby. The staff, a balding guy, got all rude and started scolding her, "in all of Denmark we don't allow to heat food for guests.... " He could have simply said no 🤦‍♂️ In the menu they also have weird rules like ... Sharing food is not allowed, order your own food per person. I get that it's not a beer garden where you can bring your own food but no sharing? ... So weird 😕

19/08/2025: The pizza dough wasn’t chewy but had a crispy texture. The taste of the pizza was excellent. The staff were also very friendly.
31/07/2025: Although we sat on a stoop outside the restaurant, for the experience, I still rate the atmosphere as 5-star all things considered. As others have said, this was VERY reasonable pricing and the guys were very friendly. Pizza was hot and flavorful, and it’s worth noting that the beer was also very reasonably priced (25kr). I did not eat a sandwich but I witnessed one being made and it looked mouthwateringly delicious. It’s worth a trip for all, except those who value pomp over circumstance.

15/08/2025: Havde bestilt bord dagen før og har gjort dem opmærksom på at min datter er algerisk, men at vi ønsker en bestemt ret. Ved ankomst får vi af vide at den ene ret, som jeg har nævnt vi ønsker ikke kan imødekommes eftersom der er mælk i som jeg specifikt har nævnt hun ikke kan tåle. Får besked på at de har forsøgt at kontakte mig en time inden vores ankomst. Det vanvittigt uprofessionelt og ikke et sted vil anbefale andre med nogen form for allergener, så står man uden bord en fredag aften på vores datters fødselsdag. Tak!
06/08/2025: I was a little disappointed that the fish was deep fried. That took away from the pleasure. On the other hand, I loved the dip. I felt trapped in the 2-person space under the table with my legs

12/08/2025: Today we visited this charming, picturesque, and unique place with high expectations. The food was quite good, with enjoyable flavors, and the wine list was excellent, offering something for every taste. However, what truly stood out was the lack of professionalism and empathy from the two servers attending us — a blonde woman and a man. They were rude, brusque, and almost mocking toward us as tourists. Unfortunately, we are restaurateurs ourselves and know the world of service and hospitality very well, and these two simply should not be at the front of a restaurant. It’s unfair to the rest of the team, who clearly put great effort into their work. Perhaps it was just an unfortunate night… but it left us with a disappointing impression. Thanks
10/08/2025: I have been to Norrlyst many times. The food is always delicious and I always look forward to visiting Norrlyst again. Today I ate with my youngest son, who is a vegetarian, he also enjoyed the lovely open sandwiches.

02/08/2025: I visited the place to go to the cinema, had a really good cappuccino in the café beforehand. The film was really good, but the cinema is worn out to the point of embarrassment, on the second floor where we sat, the seat covers are worn out in several places so much that a large part of the foam rubber is visible, on top of that they smell so bad of old dirt, a pretty disgusting experience. It really needs a renovation. 3 stars for the good coffee.

16/08/2025: Food was alright. Long wait times, 20 minutes until I had my drink and another 20-25 until food arrived. Additionaly unfortunate was, that the starter arrived at the same time as the main. Otherwise service was friendly.
16/08/2025: What should have been a pleasant evening with a table for 8 booked in advance turned into a nightmare due to the exceptionally poor service. The food took an incredibly long time to arrive, with a full hour of waiting between starter and main course. We had to wait in vain for drinks. It took 20 minutes to pay because the neighboring table was also dissatisfied. Even with a calm and patient mind, 1 star service is too high a rating. The only plus - the chef knows his stuff.

30/06/2025: Denmark = Hygge. Doesn't this mean anything to you? Aarhus in East Jutland boasts several Michelin-starred restaurants. We visited two. Nordic cuisine used to intimidate me. Too dogmatic. They rake the forests and meadows, ferment whatever they find. Bycatch, no problem. Oh, an ant, great, who needs lemon? You know every producer personally, ideally for generations. Food that can't be shipped to the kitchen by cargo bike because the producer is located too far from the kitchen is taboo. And what do you end up with? Perhaps a Redzepi 😊? That's quite biased, because there's no doubt that Mr. Redzepi, together with Ferran Adria, has significantly shaped the culinary world over the past twenty years, and that deserves recognition 🏆. We saw Wassim Hallal, the chef of the Frederikshoj restaurant, as a guest chef on Ikarus (Servus TV). We liked his style and personality. The restaurant has just been redesigned. It appears elegant and tasteful. Dark tones dominate, but the overall impression is anything but cold. The ambiance exudes quality. There are no tablecloths, which, in my opinion, seemed rather out of place here. There are a few works of art on the walls. Overall, it's rather minimalist. We felt very comfortable, as the details we appreciated were present. The tables are generously spaced. The chairs are comfortable. From our table, we had a magnificent view of the sea. The air conditioning was pleasant, as was the background music. There was a small side table for the phone and the lady's bag. Parking was available in front of the restaurant. The guests were a diverse mix and mostly dressed casually. We appreciated all of this. We were greeted by the restaurant manager and co-owner, Jeppe Lund. He was supported by a friendly and attentive service team. Mr. Lund was the one who played a key role in ensuring that I enjoyed the evening so much, despite my mediocre English skills. Eating out in Denmark is more expensive than in Germany. This is partly due to a sales tax rate of 25 percent. We enjoyed 14 courses (including two desserts). The "Greetings from the Kitchen," as we are used to in Germany, was not offered. Bread was also not served. Water was not charged. The wine list is extensive. The dishes served to us delighted us from start to finish. We didn't encounter any dogmatism here. Many ingredients were regional, but why forgo Danish lobster, oysters, and potatoes? All of these "local" products were of the highest quality. All the dishes were highly aromatic, yet very subtle. The entire process was executed with utmost precision. It's hard to imagine a tartlet or other treat that's finer or crispier. Each cube is cut as precisely as the next. I love this kind of precision; it's not only a testament to good craftsmanship, but this work also undoubtedly makes a difference in terms of feel. I'll refrain from singling out a single course or describing the meal in detail here. Every time we thought it couldn't get any better, Chef Hallal and his team went one better. We were more than impressed. A magnificent menu. Who's surprised that I was able to enjoy the best Canelés de Bordelais of my life with coffee at the end of the evening? Jeppe Lund told a nice anecdote about it. Chef Eric Kragh Vildgaard celebrated his third Michelin star here, which he received for his restaurant Jordnær. He was said to have been so impressed by this pastry that he consumed considerably more than one. I'll have the opportunity to ask him about it next week, as Jordnær is our next destination. According to Mr. Lund, it's going to be fantastic, and I'm happy to believe him.
25/05/2025: Sublime, nothing less. Craftsmanship and culinary art merge into a higher unity. Care has been taken to ensure that you get the full sensory impression of the experience.

22/07/2025: 👎 We ordered some pasta and it was overcooked. Also, in the menu was written that the pasta was homemade, but it tasted just like the cheapest pasta from a store. 👎 We wanted to eat out on the back terrace, but it was very ugly and the table was not even stable. 👎 No toilet paper at the bathroom. 👍 The only good thing about the place was the friendly staff.
20/07/2025: One day the staff was service-minded and friendly. Very nice meal. Nice atmosphere and cozy atmosphere. Day no. 2 we were greeted by a less service-minded employee. We were not allowed to sit where we wanted, despite many empty tables and no reserved tables. We asked nicely, but no. So we left without eating day no. 2.

02/08/2025: We ordered a lunch steak and a Ferdinands burger. The lunch buffet was tough, boring and ONLY served with potatoes (even though you pay 300 kr for the feast). The burger was nice, but the steak was dry and unseasoned. Overall, way too expensive for the quality. Disappointing.

11/08/2025: MUST TRY! 超好吃!一定要來!BEST MEAL I had in Copenhagen! Fantastic atmosphere, cool interior design, friendly and fast service, and most importantly, brilliant, brilliant food!! There wasn’t a single dish that I didn’t like. In fact, I had a hard time picking my favorite, because everything was just so so so equally amazing! Absolutely love it! I was even a bit sad to leave 🥲
08/08/2025: There were four of us and we reserved a table online. The food was impeccable. The staff was very friendly. We ordered various tapas and a ribeye steak. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. We recommend the artichokes and omelet. Since it was chilly outside, we ate inside. The kitchen ventilation doesn't seem to be the best ;) I definitely recommend this restaurant. 5 stars
