05/11/2024: Reservation is recommended. Great place with more than 1000 board games for free to play there and others to rent, also you can buy. Great beer and nachos.

Dagens fisk, torsk, rigelig mængde vellillavet lækker rørt tartar, og sluttede med en god gammeldags pandekage- et besøg værd inden tur i Operaen
18/10/2024: We booked lunch on our arrival day in Copenhagen and were seated at a table in the courtyard before the water. It was quite busy (reservations definitely recommended) but the tables were spaced well so it did not feel crowded, and service was attentive and very courteous. We shared a platter of smørrebrød - fried fish, herring, shrimp - and it was extremely fresh and flavorful. This is a lovely place to enjoy a delicious meal and linger a bit over conversation.

18/10/2024: We had lunch at the Københavneren restaurant – one of the oldest addresses in the city, dating from 1861 – during our visit to Helsingør in May 2024.
Typical Danish tavern/brewery atmosphere, with an efficient welcome and fast service. The menu offers all Danish specialties, accompanied by photos to avoid any hesitation – a very nice plus. The cuisine is traditional, unpretentious, but well executed and tasty. Ideal for a simple and delicious lunch.
The quality/price ratio is quite reasonable, especially in a country where prices can quickly rise. A nice place to remember in Helsingør, perfect for a meal with friends or family after a day of visiting this charming coastal town.

01/10/2024: It would have been a nice choice to spend dinner with friends, but surprisingly in the evening they don't serve tables with food but you can only drink as if it were a bar... we're still thinking about it!!! I would mention this in a little more detail.

You're lucky if there's a free table,
At lunch I suggest the Tartar open sandwich.
Outdoor heated seating - smoking allowed.

01/01/2024: Even though me and some of my buddies only went in for some water on this very hot summer day, the atmosphere and service was cozy, and delightful. I have been here a couple of times before, eating breakfast and lunch. With my family, and they all loved this cozy place. It’s a shame to see that the Little Yellow Coffeeshop is closing down, as it was one of my go to places in Copenhagen after arriving with train.
