11/12/2023: Makes good bakery bread, but you have to stay away from their pizzas. We first ordered a pizza - it broke in the oven, then they tried to make a new one, which was served to us, even though the bottom was completely black and burnt. They gave us the money back, but we had spent 35 minutes waiting, spent money on drinks (which we didn't get back), and we left hungry. We will not come again, even though we have a house on Bornholm and otherwise do a lot to support the business life there.

18/10/2023: Extremely good bread and pastries. You can also drink coffee ☕️ and eat something in the store. Interesting range of special foods.

02/04/2024: The best fish buffet I have tried on Bornholm. One visit each.

01/04/2024: After reading about smoked eel and seeing posted pictures of mussels, I expected more from the buffet. Someone wrote that it is a cafeteria with restaurants prices, I agree with that. But I must admit, I really liked the shellfish soup and some of the herrings. I think the place would benefit from adding more sides, for example, rice . I had only fries :/ .

15/01/2024: My girlfriend and I visited Det Gamle Posthus in Allinge on 10 September, where my girlfriend and I got a really nice cup of coffee and a very delicious waffle cake as well as very friendly service! My boyfriend and I returned to Bornholm a few days before Christmas 2023, as we wanted to spend our first Christmas and New Year on the island. Since we are both not the best in a kitchen but would like to have something delicious and support the island's restaurants, etc., we chose to order the large take away package from Det Gamle Posthus. We ordered both the Christmas menu, Christmas lunch and New Year's menu. It was simply one fantastic taste experience after another!.... In addition, very nice dishes!... The meat for New Year's, veal tenderloin, was so tender you could pull it apart with your fingers! It was so delicious!!.... The quality has been at the very highest level on all dishes, lots of fantastic taste, large portions and not least and not to forget, we have had fantastic service and management throughout..... They are the sweetest, weirdest and friendliest employees you meet in the Old Post House in Allinge. When I return to the island, this place is high on my list of places to visit again! ....⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️....

05/10/2023: Det var super god mad, søde mennesker og skønne omgivelser. Det kunne ikke være bedre. Vi var på Bornholm i 3 dage og var her for at spise 3 gange. Det var så godt 😁

04/10/2023: Så ledsen och besviken åt en spätta som bara var stekt på en sida till ett mycket högt pris. Varit här många gånger oftast nöjd men idag sa till om detta och fick till svar att den skulle se sådan ut alldeles vit

17/12/2023: Great bakery and pizzeria! Was on Bornholm for a week with the kids this summer, and after the first visit to Brødre, I had to come back every day and buy my morning bread and pastry. The pizzas are undoubtedly the best on the island - maybe in the whole country?!? And you have to look for a good atmosphere and nice, welcoming and smiling staff for a long time. Must visit if you are on Bornholm! I will definitely be back next summer.

30/08/2023: For me, the host is a second home. As a child, we stayed at the guest house when we went on holiday on Bornholm. This is no longer possible but a visit and a concert brings back memories. The atmosphere is as good as ever. However, the food was not worth the money, there was a cold dish with a very small piece of heated meat. Miss the good summer buffet with barbecue and salads. The bar is as always good and cozy 😁

13/03/2024: Le restaurant a accepté de rester ouvert pour notre déjeuner (directement depuis le bateau) malgré le fait que l'heure du déjeuner était passée. La nourriture était excellente, avec des fruits de mer de qualité (crevettes, thon saisi, salade de poulet fumé). La vue est incroyable et par temps clair on peut voir la côte suédoise. Ambiance très agréable. Très bon rapport qualité-prix. // The restaurant accepted to stay open for us for lunch (straight off the boat) despite the fact lunch hour was over. The food was excellent quality seafood (Shrimp, Seared tuna, smoked chicken salad). The view is incredible and on a clear day one can see the Swedish coast. Very nice ambiance. Very good value for money.

30/12/2023: Worst food I've had in a long time. The waiter got incredibly angry when I said the food was not good.

06/09/2023: We ordered different dishes for 6 people and it was very delicious. We will come again next time👍🏻

03/09/2023: We spent a week at the RV park nearby and can recommend treating yourself to the Thai takeaway available here. We had the Veal Panang not once, but twice! Wonderful quality and the chef honored our request for extra vegetables and extra extra extra spicy. Spring Rolls were also wonderful! We took it back to our campsite, but the interior was cozy and the patio looked great!
