11/08/2024: Perfect food and atmosphere. Loved the paninis and cinnamon rolls. The waiter was very friendly. Could improve on the service timeliness - I suppose it is not easy to keep a good flow when you have an unexpected influx of customers and few employees.
10/08/2024: Go hearty breakfast made from local ingredients. We received quick service and enjoyed the visit before taking the ferry to Ystad

Super dejlig personlig service af venligt personale.

Lovely people at this place.
10/09/2024: Vi har været på Restaurant Gudhjem Bakke 1 gang i sep. 2023 og 2 gange i sep. 2024.
Stjerneskud til frokost i 23 og 24 samt wienerschnitzel i 24.
Der har ikke været en finger at sætte på maden. Stjerneskudende bestod at to store filletter og rigeligt med rejer. Man går bestemt ikke sulten fra bordet efter sådan en portion. Wienerschnitzelenerne var også store og flotte. Alt i alt god mad.
Ejeren som samtidig agere tjener, kan i første omgang virke ganske kontant og lidt af den gammeldags skole. Men Det er et glimt i øjet og ikke langt til friske bemærkninger.
En facon jeg godt kan lide :D
Jeg kan kun anbefale stedet.

29/12/2024: We were there in December. Was very empty and fantastic for the children. Lots of different activities. Certainly very crowded in summer. But it's worth it in any case

27/10/2024: Tanken er meget populær, nogle gange mangler der parkeringspladser. Mange der blot skal handle i butikken parkerer foran pumperne.
Fin butik med god mad og venlig betjening.

15/03/2025: I went to Svaneke Brød a few years ago.
I think about the croissants every day, and have made it a goal to find ones as good as this place. My mission has failed and I fear I will never taste the perfection of croissants again this place managed to produce. When I say that I think about them all the time, I am not exaggerating. I just spent the last half an hour on Google Maps trying to locate this place just to write the review.
09/03/2025: Absolutely phenomenal and kid friendly service. The charming service we received cannot be beat. The bread and pastries are good.

29/10/2024: We two adults had three visits to the property to eat. The dinner, steak with mashed potatoes on a wooden plate, was very tasty. It was the same again on our last visit. We ordered without an appetizer - shrimp cocktail - but still got one with 2 forks. We assumed it was a greeting from the kitchen and ate it up. The steak/puree was delicious again. I then paid for the meal and we got dressed. Suddenly it was pointed out to me that we still had to pay for the shrimp cocktail that we hadn't ordered.
It was our last visit to the Goldener Hahn! I do not accept such an approach. Too bad!!!

16/10/2024: Must say it was the most boring food we've had in a long time‼️
Spareribs taste like the cheap ones from Brugsen and could well stand 5-10 more on top.
The lask was too salty.
The steaks were boringly prepared.
Bearnaise sauce, you could clearly taste that it had been bought, it takes 5 minutes to make it from scratch‼️
On the whole, it all tastes like something that was bought in Brugsen as a quick dish‼️
05/10/2024: Under all criticism. There were 9 of us who were down eating at 6pm on 5 October 2024. The service was simply too poor because there was no one where they were supposed to be. It can't be that you have to get up every time you want something. That's about an ounce. And not even a thank you was said when we left. Frankly is not ok
