De bedste restauranter i Bornholm

02/11/2025: Humiliated for your own money - this is a short summary of visit to so much praised restaurant. We visited this place back in 2021 and now in 2025 I’m still traumatized from the experience. Both me and my husband had hair in one of the dishes, I do not know how is it even possible, but it unfortunately happened. Chef of the restaurant (his photo attached) not only did not come to us to comment something about the hair but scolded the waiter who served the dishes quite harsh in our plain sight. I was astonished how mean he is to his own staff, who I heard are working for free being trainees and taking it as an honor to get experience from such a “respectable” restaurant. For me, it’s just bad, bad culture, wrong values and pure abuse. I just delivered my baby less than a year ago, so I was trying to get back in shape and count calories and out of curiosity I asked how many calories was in the set menu that we ordered. Waiter said that he doesn’t know, but he would ask the chef. Later waiter came back and said: “Chef told me to pass it on to you, it’s not my words, but this is what chef told me to tell you. Our food has half of the Mc Donald’s meal calories” This left me speechless, was the chef also insulting us for asking about his food? Waiter nevertheless apologized and said that they should know the amount of calories, but they do not know it unfortunately. I mean if that’s the case, couldn’t the chef just say so instead of trying to insult and humiliate the guests? This reaction from chef was very telling - guy is full of internal issues and unable to handle his emotions so that he just spits his frustration with aggression towards both staff members and customers. Very sad experience. Totally do not recommend. Even the food is not worth it.

20/08/2025: Dining here was a formidable experience, thanks above all to the staff (both service and kitchen), whose warm service and thoughtful presentation made us feel genuinely welcome. They went out of their way to accommodate food restrictions — we even found some of the gluten-free variations more flavorful than the originals. The fish smell of one dish was otherworldly, something I’d happily bottle as a perfume. Pricing is very fair for smaller bites like aperitifs, while the ambitious 15-course menu is certainly a commitment in every dimension (culinary, attention span, financial, ...). The mixed wine-juice pairing was a highlight, with juices adding a creativity and diversity that outshines many wine lists, even alongside some wonderfully unusual bottles.

13/08/2025: Unique creative space, with the best coffee we’ve had in Bornholm. We appreciate good beans and a nice milk technique and it has not been easy to find on the island - except here!

01/08/2025: Great takeaway restaurant. No pre-ordering necessary for the daily specials. Fast and easy. Great taste. We'll be back.

29/10/2025: Open 24 hours.... But no staff and the door didn't open here at 2:55 AM. Fully lit

09/09/2025: Maybe you should make sure to edit the opening hours on Google Maps when, like us, you choose to drive to Årsdale for beer and burgers in early September.... only to find out that you have already CLOSED the 2025 season??🇩🇰😎💯 If you drive somewhere like this, you as a customer expect that it IS open on a sunny Sunday in September, especially when it is over 20 degrees🌞 - and Google Maps says it IS open

06/09/2025: Great bar with awesome food and atmosphere. We enjoyed relaxing outside while eating the well prepared burgers and greatly enjoyed the variety of well crafted beers.

12/09/2025: Had heard about their large Wienerschnitzel. It was large, tasted fantastic, and the service was good. This won't be the last time I'll eat here.

11/09/2025: Very nice, and in good weather you can sit outside. The "Bornholmer Riesenschnitzel" is highly recommended.

17/10/2025: Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025, I invited a good friend for lunch and chose Brøddam, as it looked promising on the internet. However, it was a disappointment, I have never experienced a buffet so poor. I only found one thing, small muffins, that tasted good. Chicken salad, omelette etc tasted almost of nothing. And most of it seemed like it was picked up from Netto and decoratively placed in small bowls. Now I have warned you who are considering food at Brøddam. Kind regards to everyone who prefers a good culinary experience on a beautiful sunny day in nature. Sven Sonnenberg, Svaneke

04/10/2025: Without a doubt the best restaurant on Bornholm! The buffet is super deliciously composed, and with things I had never tried before. The pizzas are super delicious, with lots of filling and a really delicious and airy dough. The staff is super nice and always welcomes you with a smile and humor.

17/08/2025: They also have a complementary offer from a Swedish supplier like Kalles and prices are almost the same as in NETO and 100 steps from the boats in the port 🤗

13/09/2025: Beautiful campsite behind the dunes. Now, in mid-September, there's hardly anything going on; the site is getting emptier and emptier. Nice terrain, even for tents. The restrooms are good. Fresh rolls and sweets are available in the morning at normal prices.

23/09/2025: Handmade ice cream of the highest quality – creamy, intensely flavored, and with exciting flavors you won't find everywhere. Served with good coffee in a relaxed atmosphere in the heart of beautiful Svaneke, it's the perfect place for a break while strolling through town.

05/09/2025: The ice cream is just amazing. No waiting in the morning, and when there is no queue, the ice cream just tastes better.

25/10/2025: We go on vacation once a year and always get breakfast bread from Kock and as an old baker I can only say good things about the breakfast bread.

29/12/2025: Bought bread this morning they were a little too dark should have been thrown away if you make a mistake like that you have to throw them out and bake new ones you simply can't sell them for 9 kroner a piece you should be ashamed of yourself
