10/09/2024: Virkelig lækker mad. Vi kom flere gange efter pizza på vores ferie. Nøj hvor var de gode. Også brugeren var virkelig god. Meget venlig betjening. Kan absolut anbefales.

22/08/2024: Aug 2024. We met their little cart at Wonderfestiwall and had to go down to Vang and have lunch. Such a wonderful place with delicious sandwiches and airfry fries. Good coffee, wonderful location, wonderful young people who just make us want to try it all. Primarily seats outside - very small inside. They probably close for the season at the end of August.

22/08/2024: You sit comfortably with a view of the small harbor. Small dish, delicious panini.

11/08/2024: You get good service, a large selection of food, drink and ice cream. And the food just tastes really good

11/08/2024: After a hike around and over the Hammerknuden, it's exactly the right place to stop, drink coffee, eat ice cream or whatever else you want. Incredibly friendly and friendly service. I would like to go there again. See you soon Annette

23/09/2024: A gem of a restaurant. No menu, just a menu (in the off-season) but it had it all: a procession of incredible flavor explosions through individual dips of sauce and fresh herbs. Great.

21/09/2024: There were 7 of us on a Thursday evening, there was only a set menu, with wine to choose from. The waiter was definitely not a trained waiter, spoke bad Danish, which i.a. prevented him from presenting food and wine, the food starts with 5 small snacks, very tasty but small. Main menu consisted of 4-5 other servings, not much bigger, could be eaten in 2 small mouthfuls. The main course, if you can talk about such a thing, consisted of a slightly too red duck with the consistency of an eraser with three small beetroots and nothing else. Several left because of the consistency and taste. Wine was a little different and since we got no presentation of any kind it was a flat feeling. Boring bland decor and you didn't feel very welcome. We paid around DKK 11,000 for around 300 grams of food per person. Man, this is not a place I would recommend, it may be that most of the food tasted good, but some did not and you were in no way full, and that applied to all guests, maybe you had a bad day, but you can't have that at that price. PS One of the guests was sick the following night, maybe a little too bloody?

23/10/2024: Very delicious food and wine. The service was top notch. There weren't that many guests as we were there in the off-season, but the atmosphere didn't fail.

17/09/2024: Probably the best ingredients I've had in years. Not fancy, but just delicious and good flavors on everything.

03/08/2024: Tapas June 2023; great! Burger and fries July 2024; just ok. And 220 kr. for burger and fries is wild.

11/08/2024: Vi ankom kl 18 til restauranten der næsten ligger i vandkanten - sikke en udsigt. Vi blev modtaget af venligt og imødekommende personale, der hurtigt ledsagede os til vores bord. Vi blev præsenteret for 15 retter koncentreret omkring fisk og skaldyr - alt fremstod smukt anrettet og var yderst velsmagende og ledsaget af vin der var smukt parret. Restauranten fremstod nydelig og toiletterne var rene og pæne. Personalet præsenterede de enkelte retter kyndigt og perfekt og var yderst velvillige til at uddybe og svare på spørgsmål. En rigtig dejlig oplevelse, vi kommer gerne igen.

22/07/2024: A unique place for a special birthday. Everything was perfect. Extremely delicate cuisine, a relaxed and ultra-professional welcome, and of course a magical setting. We loved it.

20/10/2024: Unbelievably nice atmosphere and happy, smiling and service-oriented staff. The food was lovely. We got the Thai tapas menu and an extra starter. It tasted great.

23/08/2024: Specialties from Iceland, the Faroe Islands and Georgia. September 2024. So much flavor in ALL dishes and Icelandic IPA as well as wine from Georgia. Pleasant, friendly and attentive service. Delicate and high standard for all ingredients and preparation. Unfortunately these wonderful Icelanders are quitting after this season to go to Georgia and grow wine as I understand. HURRY up to book a table. Bornholm will miss you 🫶

13/09/2024: Not the first choice for drinking coffee among the Bornholm competition. There was only rhubarb cake and cookies. I paid 16.35 euros for two small cappuccini and a cookie self-service, the quality was good.

12/09/2024: Beautiful view of the lake and harbor, various seating options, order in the restaurant. Delicious and relaxing. The café can be easily reached on foot, by bike or by car. Also suitable for people with walking difficulties!

26/10/2024: Fresh hotel with nice spa. Good breakfast buffet. Great for a weekend getaway!

03/09/2024: The hotel on Bornholm offers an impressive location with a beautiful sea view, but unfortunately the impression does not live up to expectations when you enter the room. The first thing that catches the eye is brown stains on the worn carpet, which immediately gives the impression of a lack of maintenance. The furnishings appear worn, and even the bedding, which should signal cleanliness and comfort, was stained with brown marks. I would remove all the carpets in a heartbeat if I were part of the operation. The hotel building itself is more reminiscent of an older municipal institution building than a cozy hotel. There is a lack of both natural and mechanical ventilation in the rooms, and the only form of heating is a rusty radiator under the floor, which only contributes to a sense of decay. The indoor climate is therefore anything but pleasant. The staff do what they can to create a positive experience for the guests and are both sweet and welcoming. The check-in process was also relatively smooth. The restaurant at Griffen delivers an excellent experience, but there is room for improvement. The staff are friendly and welcoming, but appear a bit inexperienced, which can be felt in both the pace of service and attention to detail. The food was fine, but disappointed a bit by reminding a lot of what you would expect in a cheaper cafe. Although the dishes were well prepared, they lacked the extra level of finesse one would expect from a restaurant in a hotel like the Griffen. All in all an okay experience, but nothing that stands out.
