26/09/2026: The best dining experience I've ever had! It currently holds 1 Michelin star but in my opinion is worth much more. Kadeau Bornholm offers fantastic food combined with a truly unique location (hut on a cliff overlooking sunset over Baltic sea) and very nice relaxed atmosphere. Restaurant offers a tasting menu that mostly focuses on seasonal vegetables, regional techniques (salmon inspired by Bornholm's "røgeris" - smokehouses - which was one of the stars of the evening) with a single meat dish throughout the dinner. Everything is fresh, delicious and full of taste. Service is perfect (and super quick!), the staff is super friendly always eager to provide more details or answers any questions you might have.

14/09/2026: An Extraordinary Culinary Experience Our visit to Kadeau on Bornholm was a truly special experience. The restaurant's location alone is breathtaking: the direct view of the sea creates a wonderful connection to the landscape and nature, which is also reflected in the cuisine. The menu itself was exceptional, creative, and full of surprising flavors. Each course had its own distinct character, yet together they formed a wonderfully harmonious culinary journey. We were particularly impressed by how consistently regional ingredients and the natural beauty of Bornholm are incorporated into the cuisine. The fact that they also grow and process their own ingredients makes the concept even more authentic for us. Overall, we were very impressed by the sustainability behind the cuisine and the entire concept. Here, you get the impression that origin, quality, and a conscious use of available resources are not just a trend, but are genuinely practiced. We also loved the restaurant's atmosphere: stylish, understated, and pleasantly quiet. This allowed us to fully concentrate on each course and the many different flavors. The service was attentive, warm, and exceptionally courteous without ever being intrusive. Each dish was beautifully explained, and we always felt like we were the focus of attention. For us, Kadeau is much more than just a restaurant visit. The combination of its fantastic seaside location, unique atmosphere, exceptional food, attentive service, and compelling sustainability concept makes it an experience we will remember for a long time. A definite recommendation for anyone who appreciates exceptional cuisine and a truly special dining experience.

18/07/2026: A very good bakery! They don't have a huge selection, but what they do make is excellent. The rolls and bread are still fresh even after three days. The pastries are delicious too. We are very satisfied and grateful!

04/09/2026: We come in with 2 children aged 1 and 3, not the norm at a wine bar. But we were welcomed and seated perfectly shielded in the corner. You order at the bar, it works perfectly. The staff are incredibly nice and chatty, drinks are brought to you right away. The food came quickly and tasted really nice! We were offered more main courses and bread if we were extra hungry. The other guests were incredibly nice and the atmosphere was buzzing and wonderful. Really good acoustics for so many people in a small room. All in all, a perfect evening, we were so happy and grateful for the experience when we went home, we will definitely go back when we set foot in Gudhjem again.

16/09/2026: Absolutely awful experience from start to finish. First of all, the staff were incredibly passive-aggressive. I could literally hear them making nasty comments about me while apparently assuming I couldn’t hear them. Completely unprofessional and extremely uncomfortable. Then came the food. I ordered a hummus sandwich, and the hummus tasted genuinely horrible. The dark bread also seemed stale and old. I honestly couldn’t believe something like that was being served to customers. I would strongly advise against eating here. The whole experience was disgusting and completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, I later developed what I believe was food poisoning after eating there. This place seriously needs to be looked into by the relevant food safety and sanitary authorities. Based on my experience, I would never eat here again.

01/08/2026: Simply superb. We're on a walk around the, stopping in Boderne and this place was perfect. The food (crepes and ice creams) were just fantastic. Coffee, hot chocolate, apple juice and strawberry shake were lovely. The service at the order point and on delivery of food to the table was really friendly and welcoming and helpful. Thoroughly recommend.

16/10/2026: It's a great place to eat, the prices aren't too high and the food is good and comes out pretty quickly. From what we ordered, they seem to really like their food to the strong side.

26/09/2026: We had tapas, and got chicken dumplings instead of shrimp in green curry soup. Some of the best tasting Thai food we've had both in Denmark and Thailand. Lovely balanced flavors. And the lovely owner who served us was fantastic. Thank you for your smile and lovely mood. 🙏🙏 In my opinion, completely fair prices considering the quality and service. We'll be back!!
