30/08/2025: The staff was not outgoing and were more busy gossiping than serving a paying customer. The place was super nice and had a fun style

30/07/2025: Nice atmosphere and decent prices. But the temperature was extremely hot. Not pleasant.

28/11/2025: Nice vibes. Popped in here at Friday lunchtime for a beer and a wine. Friendly service and decent prices. 65 kroner for a large bottled beer and 100 DKK for a Sangoviese wine.

11/10/2025: It's completely run down outside. There are always euro pallets, broken things, broken glass and cigarette butts floating around. No responsibility and totally unappealing to sit in. It's a shame, the place used to be so much better.

14/09/2025: Fantastic sushi, by an even more fantastic owner and chef. Super delicious and fresh ingredients. It's world class.

16/08/2025: My wife and I, were glad we chose this small Japanese restaurant. The service was so friendly, the food was top quality and the atmosphere in the small restaurant allowed for peace and relaxation.

10/10/2025: A cozy place. The young girl who greeted us speaking English was really sweet and smiling. But the one who became our server really shouldn't work there. She neither smiled nor made it a good experience. Even my children asked if she was angry. She also took and cleared the table before we were finished👎 the food was ok, but no culinary experience. Note picture 2 with a discount for poor service and food, so I wonder if they have experienced complaints before. We just didn't feel like complaining, so we paid and left

23/08/2025: First we were greeted by a grumpy and unengaged waiter who clearly would rather be somewhere else. That set the tone for the visit. Eventually her replacement arrived, who was fortunately more service-minded, but the overall impression was already ruined. Unfortunately, the food was no better. The vegetables for my baked salmon came straight from freezer bags and were watery and tasteless. My boyfriend's Caesar salad consisted of pre-cut bag lettuce, pre-cut parmesan, fried chicken from the freezer, etc. At those prices, you expect fresh ingredients and quality, not something you could just as easily have whipped up at home. All in all, an experience beyond criticism, and certainly not a place we can recommend.

11/12/2025: We were a group of 8, 3 of whom were wheelchair users. No disabled toilet Had booked a table in advance. The food was booked in advance. A 3 course Christmas menu. Starter fine which consisted of 2 types of herring and salmon. Main course confit duck leg and pork roast with potatoes and gravy. , red cabbage. Dessert , rice salamande with cherry sauce. The plate for the main course was a dessert plate which was too small, as we had disabled people with us who had difficulty steering it. And it is rare to get cake plates for duck leg and pork roast which almost filled the plate by themselves. The only thing that was dissatisfied with was the brown potatoes which were clearly glass potatoes and lacked taste and color. The service was great. Friendly young man who made it nice to be there. The fun was a bit off when a young girl came and asked if we were going to leave soon, as she had a table reservation for another party. Our disabled people take a long time to eat, and they enjoyed themselves since it was their Christmas lunch and they only come to Copenhagen at Christmas to enjoy themselves. But there is no shame in leaving when you are asked to do so in a figurative sense.

01/08/2025: They no longer use Midori for their Midori Sour, instead they use an off-brand melon liquor which tastes like those pick-and-mix watermelon bubblegum.. it's waaay too sweet and is a massive downgrade from their previously delicious Midori Sour cocktail. Very disappointed.

09/01/2026: Really delicious cakes that they make themselves. They have a nice gluten-free selection of cakes and the coffee is served in French. Nice people. The place may look a bit boring. But this is a bit of a hidden gem.

03/01/2026: A lovely café with fantastic cinnamon rolls – OMG! The tea selection is also great. The saleswoman with the glasses was very friendly and gave us excellent advice. A big compliment!!!

31/08/2025: Several vegetarian and vegan options. Tasty tasty, I had the Mix Veg Combo menu - great taste, crunchy broccoli, generous portion. Samosa was great as well, just the right amount of spicy. Many dishes are below 100 DKK, the combo menus are slightly above. This is my favorite food stall at Reffen so far. I’ll surely come back again, next time I’ll try daal and pakoda.

31/08/2025: HEY GUYS!!! It’s me again, and today food blogging from Reffen - Copenhagen. This pectatural spot caught us because we have been craving momos for a really long time. And also because we have missed Nepal so much 🤣 STAFF- the staff was friendly, the guy was obviously Nepalese and he liked to talked about it, but he was really slow. Which was weird because he didn’t cook anything, he just warmed things up. FOOD - well … we have been disappointed… the momos itself were good, not like in Nepal but the taste was similar, but the soup?? It was really watery with no spice. It was literally just a water with coriander and tomato puree . The food was obviously made for white people that had never had any Nepalese food in their lifes. Normally it’s really flavoured with lots of spices and really thick texture. OVERALL - I would say for your first experience of Nepalese food it’s a good start, but it’s nothing special. Next time would skip this.

11/01/2025: Review was for New Year’s Day: I appreciated that this business was open for New Year’s Day. However, I wish the employees gave us a heads up that a croissant and 2 fresh juices would take 40 minutes. I was disappointed that the employees did not give us the croissant to gnaw on while we waited (baked goods were premade and available). Poor communication! Lots of patrons walked out that day or asked for a refund unfortunately.

16/10/2025: I ordered a menu for 95 kr, consisting of hot chocolate and 3 chocolates. While the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere in the shop is quite good, I was disappointed with the food: the chocolate was actually cold, rather thin and tasteless. The 3 chocolates were really small and almost tasteless. The cafe is really nice and has a really good design.

24/08/2025: Today I had been looking forward to a chocolate brunch, which I had previously had a really good experience with. The food certainly lived up to expectations – it was delicious, and the concept of ad libitum buns, butter and side dishes is really well thought out. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by a service that didn’t quite follow through. We waited almost an hour before our food and drinks were served, which felt far too long. In addition, it took about 20 minutes each time we asked for a refill of butter or buns, which interrupted the flow of the meal. We had reserved a table for two hours, which we thought would be plenty of time, especially since we had another appointment afterwards. However, due to the long wait times, we didn’t get to get the last thing we had ordered before we had to leave the café to get on with our meal. It’s a real shame, because the food is, as I said, excellent, and I was looking forward to enjoying the whole experience. Unfortunately, the slow and inefficient service meant that the visit fell short of expectations, making it difficult to recommend the place, even though it has great potential. I hope you can take the feedback to heart so that future guests can have a better experience.

27/04/2025: I have tasted almost all Danish takes on a Berlin Döner and this one ranks up there where it is almost the best. The combination of bread, cabbage and meat is almost perfect. The bread is so crispy and the dressings are just right.

23/04/2025: It's really, really good food. And nice that you can sit outside to eat. And a good service.

24/07/2025: Their customer toilet is always out of order, have tried many times but never succeeded so don't bother charging your car here.
