31/07/2025: Great little takeaway shop (though they do have a couple of tables if you want to eat here). We tried four things, and all were terrific. Plus the kid behind the counter was really nice.

05/07/2025: I would give 0 stars to the food if I could. I ordered Tom Kha, Satay and Pad Thai. Let’s just park the fact that I ordered additional white rice for the chicken Satay, and the Tom Kha should come with rice by default (it was specified in the menu), NEITHER of them came with rice! Ok, I thought, no panic, the Tom Kha should be creamy enough to eat it alone. Well, it wasn’t, and I wish it was the only bad thing about it. It wasn’t acidic and didn’t taste like spices at all! It was like broth with floating stuff in it. Then the satay, oh my god, it supposed to be a peanut sauce. Where are the peanuts? How can it be a liquid sauce instead of a cream that does not stick on the chicken? Have you ever tried peanut butter? And last, the pad thai. I ordered it with shrimps, it came with chicken (it’s cheaper, we could say I got scammed since I paid for the shrimps). And it was mid, at best. Just AVOID this place, or check your food bag before leaving

07/09/2025: Today I visited one of the very few remaining, passionate diamonds in the Copenhagen “Mad-Liv” A super passionate chef, who I can read in other reviews is criticized for his attitude. I disagree, the man is French, had the place for 22 years, extremely passionate, and I got it all, which resulted in a lovely and wonderful chat of over 30 minutes. I just want to say to all food lovers who want authenticity, honesty and real French passion and craftsmanship - Give Taste a visit, it's absolutely fantastic! Thank you ❤️🥰

30/08/2025: As some of the negative reviews reported as well, one of the waiters is very rude and makes the consumers feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. This is what happens to me. I entered the café and I put my bags in one of the chairs, reserving the table, waiting to order. Then, my boyfriend, who wanted to use the restroom, asked for the code to enter. The waiter answered that there was a toilet around the corner, close to a burger place. My boyfriend asked if there was a toilet inside because we had already come previously and we knew there was a toilet inside as well. He answered that their toilet is only for costumers. We were costumers but he said he didn’t know but he was very bad from his part not asking if we were costumers and giving for granted we were random people who were passing by asking for toilets in a place like this. Absurd. After this awkward beginning, I sat down on the table and my boyfriend sat next to me because there was a couch. There was no one next to us that we were disturbing but he claimed that, as it was a small place, we had to sit one in front of each other. This for us was the tip of the iceberg. As a costumer, this is a very rude treatment. Knowing you have to pay people like this, it’s disappointing. This waiter will claim he has been very kind and he said things politely, but for me this is not kindness, neither politeness, I am sorry. If he is getting stressed easily by large numbers of costumers and this small place cannot contain them and he cannot handle it, I suggest this person to change job or to review his attitude. This is not for him. I am not the first one saying this, therefore, he should really take this in consideration.

10/10/2025: Buffet, but the food was below average and not tasty. I’m not sure if the meat or chicken was halal either. We only ate the salad.

31/07/2025: Der Wein war gar nicht nach unserem Geschmack und dafür wirklich hochpreisig, aber das Interieur und die Stimmung sind top. Am allerbesten ist der Koch. Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker. Insbesondere der Blumenkohl und die Aubergine - sensationell. Allein dafür lohnt sich der Besuch.

14/03/2025: Experience sympathique. Bon vin. Reste cependant assez onéreux pour de petites quantités. Musique assez forte. Je garde un bon souvenir du service. Chouette ambiance.

02/07/2025: If you like to wait a long time for your food, receive food you didn't order (and in turn not receive what you actually HAVE ordered) and otherwise find it charming to have a waiter who rolls his eyes at you when you ask for something - this is the place! We have given the place repeated chances (as the food is actually good), but experience the same thing time and time again - so now I think we will find another place next time :-)

05/05/2025: Being cheated out of money. The prices with lunch specials together with the general prices do not match. A third higher price is given by the staff. And the staff is difficult to communicate with, as he does not speak Danish and speaks English poorly. Bad experience. So better give 20 kroner extra to go somewhere else

18/04/2025: Efficient and delicious food! Super friendly staff who speak both Danish and English. Despite the large menu, everything I've tried has been fantastic. It's hard to find a place with such good service, food, opening hours and prices. Highly recommended!

13/09/2025: Absolute WORST burger in CPH. If they served this crap in country of origin, the US, the store would be closed asap and owner fired.

11/09/2025: Oh well, unfortunately, there's no comparison to our Polish McDonald's. Being hungry and not wanting to spend a lot of money, I visited the branch located in this very location. The terminals were working normally, the service was friendly, and the cleanliness was also okay. I ordered a few items not available in Poland, plus the well-known fries. And they were the biggest disappointment, terribly greasy and overly salty, the worst I've ever had. I started to hate myself after eating the entire large container. To drink, I ordered a Sprite mix-it-up, which is unavailable here – one in green apple flavor (a bit chemical) and the other in mango and dragon fruit flavor (definitely better). The large McWrap isn't large at all, but rather more like the snack wrap we used to have. When I ordered the McBacon, I expected a burger the size of a McRoyal, but I got something more like a McDouble. Plus, the bacon was definitely better than here, and the beef tasted practically 1:1. The most interesting item was definitely the Chili Cheese Tops, cheese balls with jalapeño pieces. Delicious, hot, and with a gooey texture – that's all you need to be happy. In short, it's expensive compared to Poland, and the quality of the food is lower than in our country. The portions are also unfortunately smaller.

15/05/2025: We stopped for lunch with my wife; the food was prepared quickly, and the pasta was freshly cooked. The portion wasn’t very large.

02/11/2025: The experience was very disappointing. The owner, who is French, was extremely rude, both to his own employee and to us. He spoke to us rudely and gave us the impression that he wanted us to leave. It's not the kind of atmosphere you expect in a place where you go to enjoy something sweet and relax. The quality of the products doesn't make up for the poor service. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

02/11/2025: The almond croissant was delicious. The French gentleman, who I understand is the owner, is rude and treated us badly from the moment we walked in. The woman serving us did everything she could to make amends. I think it's better to go somewhere else or get takeout, but not to stay. Now, for example, he's yelling at his employee.

26/07/2025: Staff were lovely The Great Danish was really good and flavourful!! Saw comments complaining about the bun but I found it really nice and fluffy. 4 stars as it was slightly expensive coming in at £30.55 for 2 hotdogs and 2 drinks.

21/07/2025: I decided to stop by TheDogHouse and get the Danish Dog because it looked like a wild mix of local flavors I’d never tried before. I’m so glad I did. The combination of toppings and sausages was totally unique, with traditional Danish havarti, pickles, crispy fried onions, and remoulade all stacked into a warm, fresh bun. What I really loved was that this wasn’t just a novelty hot dog; it was genuinely delicious and super satisfying. You could tell a lot of thought went into putting together something that represented Copenhagen’s food scene but was also just an excellent bite on its own. I’d put it up there as one of the food highlights of our trip—and that’s saying something given how much good food there is in this city.
