27/03/2025: Five stars all around! This place is absolutely magical! The food was amazing but that's not what really stood out to me. It's how everything just comes together in this place. When I entered the little door and went down the stairs, I was greeted as if I was a king, returning to his castle full of loyal staff. Waiters are plentiful and incredibly polite. They spoke kind of like you would in the 1950s which fit the vibe of the place very well I think. It's hard to explain but in Danish there is a certain way of addressing someone respectfully, which has been lost in the sands of time. But not here! Waiters are very attentive and quick to pull out a chair for you. It was like being in a movie. The chefs came out with some of the dishes to be served at the tables and since we were a larger group the waiters made sure to be enough people serve all of us at the same time, rather than serving one or two guests at the time. The waiters were very good at explaining each dish, the food was fresh and the taste was out of this world. Also... Glasses were NEVER empty. Some people say the food is overpriced. And I get it. But you have to think of this experience as a whole. You're not just paying for the food. You're paying for premium service as well. I'm not a fancy eater, and this is probably the best and finest food I will ever have in my entire life. I am very grateful for the opportunity to dine and drink here, and I hope to be able to do so once more.

02/06/2025: Jeg havde høje forventninger til aftenen. Jeg havde besøgt jeres Michelin restaurant Marchal før og troede jeg viste hvilke standart og service jeg kunne forvente. Jeg blev desværre rigtig skuffet. Tjeneren var meget anmassende og virkede stresset og nærmest inden vi havde nået at spise færdig to tallerkenerne. Maden var det mest skuffende og bestemt ikke en Michelin restaurant værdig. Den lignede ikke manden på Billede på hjemme på hjemmesiden, var anrettet kedeligt og uambitiøst for en Michelin restaurant. Fisken var meget tør og sådan burde Pighvar ikke være tilberedt og jeg er næsten sikker på dette var en fejl fra køkkenet. Jeg har selv en baggrund som tjener og kok og var også på forskellige Michelin restauranter som en del af min uddannelse og dette for virkelig ikke en skuffende oplevelse på Marchal 😔🥺 vinen var virkelig lækker og Canapeerne smagte rigtig godt men det var desværre også det positive jeg kan sige om mit sidste besøg på Marchal. Betalte over 2500 kr og det levede på ingen måde op til mit tidligere besøg. Jeg er desværre ikke sikker på jeg har lyst til at komme igen.

31/05/2025: Turbot para dos se sirvió frío, así que tuvimos que esperar a una versión frita. El plato principal de espárragos era tan ligero que tuvimos que pedir patatas como complemento. Nuestro comentario final fue, si los inspectores Michelin vinieron hoy el restaurante perdería su estrella.

27/04/2025: Nice coffee and food. The interior is a bit cramped, so privacy is a bit lacking. The service is good, but it would be more professional if the baristas waited to discuss their personal experiences in dating and other private topics.

31/05/2025: Wonderful smörebröd and brilliant beer. The World Domination is awesome with the pineapple note. The chicken salad and beef tartar smörebröd is simply delicious and the large portions are great to fill you up. And the background noise at the toilet is particularly original. You have the feeling that you're just missing out on the Titanic 😀

06/05/2025: Perfect dive bar if you know what you’re looking for. People complain about the cigarette smoke and how packed the place is yet struggle to understand not every place is for everyone and should make you feel welcome lol the only weird thing i noticed is the ratio of old men to younger girls. other than that i find it hard to complain when 2bottled beers are only 35Kr
