29/09/2025: This was the last of 3 hotels I stayed while spending 2 weeks in Denmark. Arriving, I was a little put off that there was only one person working at the desk, so I had to carry my luggage up the stairs to the reception area myself. The few days I stayed, I loved seeing the two faces I recognized and knowing them by name. Julia and Alex. The hotel was beautiful! My room was lovely, the bathroom had a large walk-in shower, the towels were hung on a towel warmer. The bed was comfortable, the windows with a large window sill was nice to sit to look outside, where I could see rides going from Tivoli Gardens. I used room service just to receive tea in my room. However, there is a kuereg coffee maker and coffee available and a refrigerator in the room. I loved I was able to walk to where I wanted to go.

22/09/2025: Restaurant L’Alsace feels like stepping into a corner of northeastern France, tucked away in one of Copenhagen’s most charming courtyards. The atmosphere is warm and full of character, the service attentive, and the wine list beautifully curated. We had the tasting menu and thoroughly enjoyed the journey through classic Alsatian flavours — each dish prepared with care and authenticity. A true gem for anyone who appreciates French gastronomy.

05/10/2025: There has been a change of ownership and unfortunately you can taste it in the food. The food is not at all in the same league as before. Ordered a no. 41 - which I have done before, this time the noodles were dry and did not have the same taste and consistency as before, at the same time it had become far too sweet in taste, I don't know if they have started using more sugar in the food. They lost a regular customer there, unfortunately!

29/07/2025: Delicious food and just the friendliest staff. Big portions and cheap as well. We would eat here every week if we lived in Copenhagen.

14/10/2025: Small, super cozy (a bit hidden) gem in Østerbro! Good atmosphere and delicious, well-made dishes made from good ingredients. Sweet and nice service by smiling young people. Really nice experience - we will definitely come again.

02/10/2025: Paid for a beer at the bar later at night by tapping my card. The next morning the charge on my account was double of what the terminal showed. The same exact thing happened to my buddy. Called them, the gentleman on the phone sounded annoyed and dismissive from the get go. "You need to come in person so we will look into this for you". Ask them for a receipt right away or avoid overall!
