20/04/2025: The coffee wasn’t bad. Only option is takeaway cups due to the small size of the cafe. The lady working there was lacking friendliness somewhat. The wifi did not work.

04/05/2025: We were able to spontaneously get a table here and had a really great evening. The three of us ordered three dishes (1x starter & 2x main course) and shared everything and every single dish was delicious! We opted for fish and seafood dishes and all the dishes tasted very different and were cooked to perfection.

30/03/2025: Super cozy cafe. A small oasis on the busy Østerbrogade. Got a tomato salad with avocado and mozzarella and an unbeatable oil/vinegar dressing and soy sauce 😋 Followed by a spicy Thai latte with cantuccini 😋 Can definitely be recommended 👍 👍👍

17/12/2024: Super evening atmosphere with a good big cup of hot tea - in good company on a raw and rainy Tuesday evening. Would describe it as a tiny little simple, cosy, intimate and charming place with soul and warmth. Nice service and all in all a good first time experience I've had this evening when my path crossed this place.

27/05/2025: For the price – good food with wine. You can find Grimal on Istedgade. We came on a Monday evening without a reservation and got a table for two without any problems. We were quickly served by the first of the three waiters who came to our table. As a small starter we ordered the French oysters. Right off the road – delicious. We ordered the 3-course menu with accompanying wine menu. 285 kroner for the food menu and 285 for the wine menu. The price is nothing to complain about in Copenhagen – quite the opposite. Price and quality go hand in hand at Grimal, and you get an excellent meal with wine – without it being flashy. A suitable meal for a completely ordinary Monday.

03/04/2025: Plejer altid at være en god oplevelse når man besøger Liban Cuisine, også i Ramadan måned hvor de vælger at køre videre med deres eget menukort og ikke buffet, og andre vanvittige priser. Vi har besøgt stedet adskillige gange over de seneste 2 måneder og kan normalt ikke få nok. De plejer at være ret gode til at håndtere store selskaber, hvilket også har resulteret i flere besøg på mere end 10 personer, specifikt under ramadanen. Vi plejer at glæde os helt vildt, men dette ændrede sig indtil vi var forbi igen d. 29 med 12 personer til iftar. Vi blev først serveret forkerte forretter, selvom vi nævnte ikke at have bestilt det. Det fiksede de heldigvis, men herefter blev vores mad også forsinket med 20 min., selvom vi bestilte 3 dage inden, hvilket er rimelig uforståeligt selvom det er ramadan. Servicen bliver så ved kassen værre, da vi bliver mødt med en unødig aggressiv, uforstående medarbejder som ligefrem KRÆVER at vi betaler samlet, og fortæller at det ikke er muligt at betale særskilt. Det er simpelthen for dårligt og ødelægger hele oplevelsen. Det en ommer, da vi altid har været fortalere for restauranten, kvalitet og service. Denne gang haltede servicen en del desværre.

17/05/2025: We were here on a Saturday. The owner took the time to explain the dishes and Nepalese cuisine to us and recommended some dishes. The small dishes to share are highly recommended! Be sure to try the dumplings and fried vegetables, preferably with the homemade spicy dip and pickled cucumbers. Everything is wonderfully flavoured and tastes delicious. The decor is modern but tasteful and very cosy. We will be back when we visit the city again!

27/04/2025: Have ordered a little differently from them. Their Jouje (chicken on a skewer without bones) is probably the only one of the barbecue dishes I will buy again. I have ordered Koobideh twice, both times undercooked and too greasy. Polite service and always on time for takeaways.
