05/09/2026: Accessible by car This is the golf course restaurant You can eat inside or on the terrace Very pleasant welcome and, as everywhere here, English spoken A small Italian menu We were the only ones there A veal antipasto with salad, sauce, and breadsticks Pasta with tuna and red pesto, and pasta with beef and mushrooms in butter Everything was really very good.

26/05/2025: Stopped by this lovely little bakery and honestly, I’m already planning my next visit. The coffee was absolutely amazing—I had an oat flat white and it was smooth, perfectly balanced, and just the right temperature. Easily one of the best coffees I’ve had in a while. I also treated myself to a slice of cheesecake, and wow… it was incredible. Creamy, rich, with just the right amount of sweetness. Every bite left me wanting more. If I didn’t have to leave, I’d probably still be sitting there with a second slice and another flat white! The vibe in the bakery was warm and welcoming—definitely the kind of place you could spend a slow morning or afternoon. Highly recommend to any coffee and dessert lover.

24/05/2025: Went to 2 stores multiple times while we were on a short break in Copenhagen. Can thoroughly recommend the coffee, pastries and sandwiches. The stores can get busy a peak times but the efficient and polite staff know how to cope.

It feels like being hit in the face with a freshly-hewn tribal axe — in a good way. Meat, greens, and clean ingredients line up like a small, no-bullshit Michelin army. The omelet wrap? It’s like wrapping your dreams in protein. A wrap that doesn’t just hold together, but hugs its contents like a bear with emotional depth. The salads? Crispy enough to be used as improvised weapons. You know right away that there hasn’t been a single ultra-processed shadow anywhere near it. The smoothies? As if a Neanderthal invented wellness and bottled it. And the service? 24/06/2026: **World-class authentic classic Danish open sandwiches** Slotskælderen at Gitte Kik is simply the best place in Copenhagen if you want to experience traditional Danish open sandwiches at their absolute highest level. An institution since 1910 – and you can see why. The service was top notch – attentive, warm and professional from the first second. The kind of service that is rare and makes the whole experience unforgettable. The open sandwiches are craftsmanship in the best sense of the word. The herring with its sour counterpoint, the paper-thin roast beef with soft onions and horseradish, the butter-fried plaice fillet – all served on solid homemade rye bread. Every single slice is prepared with pride and respect for the old recipes. And then the place itself is something in itself – historic vaulted cellar rooms from 1797, a stone's throw from Christiansborg, where there is the sum of genuine Copenhagen coziness and atmosphere. Book a table well in advance – there's good reason for that. Highly recommended! 🇩🇰

21/09/2026: An amazing cultural restaurant that offers a genuine taste of Pakistani culture through both its atmosphere and food. While the service and hygiene could be improved, the quality of the food makes this place well worth visiting Atmosphere: The interior is beautifully cultural, with authentic Pakistani elements throughout the restaurant. I’m not Pakistani myself, but the atmosphere feels like a place where someone could genuinely feel at home. As someone who appreciates different cultures, I really enjoyed the setting Food: The food is absolutely fantastic. I don’t really eat spicy food, yet I’ve returned multiple times and would happily come back again. The menu is very limited, but the dishes they do offer are excellent. Their bread is honestly the best I’ve ever had—absolutely incredible! Service: Service is the main area that needs improvement. The staff can be quite inattentive, and even with a reservation, tables may still be occupied when you arrive. Staff then have to ask guests to finish or rearrange seating to make room. Better organisation and attentiveness would make a significant difference. Hygiene: Hygiene is another area that could be improved. Tables are often left unclean, and when asked to clean them, they are often given only a quick wipe. Greater attention to hygiene and table cleanliness would improve the overall experience and hygiene. Price: The prices are incredibly reasonable considering the quality, portion sizes, and current cost of living. It’s genuinely impressive that they are able to offer such good food at these prices. Feedback to the Restaurant: I really love the cultural atmosphere, the kindness of the owner, and—most importantly—the food. Improving the service and hygiene would elevate the overall experience considerably. It’s also a shame that the restaurant is only open on weekends for a few hours. The food deserves to be experienced by more people. I hope they eventually expand their opening hours, and perhaps even move to a larger location, while maintaining what they already do so well

05/09/2026: It was the second time we had the tasting menu. This time, it wasn't long between courses. The waiter waited for us to finish and brought the next course right away. It felt stressful, and there was no break in between. We were served course no. 4 in 35 minutes. The food is ok, but with the stressed atmosphere, it wasn't very cozy.

15/09/2026: Visited Fridas with a friend and had a really nice traditional Danish lunch. We shared a platter with herring, salmon, pork tenderloin, cheese and a few other things. Everything was very tasty and had that nice homemade feel to it. Cosy place, friendly atmosphere and fair prices for Copenhagen. A great choice if you want to try some proper classic Danish food. Definitely recommended.

29/09/2026: Average food, portions, flavour and experience for a reasonable price. No particular critique of anything there, just not exceptional in any way. I ordered their nr. 45 medium rare and nr. 12. Would not recommend nr. 12 (just flavourless snails in oil. I had to add a lot of salt and pepper for taste, or maybe thats my personal taste palette). The beef was as ordered, but nothing special. Perhaps i should had ordered their sauce for a extra kick. Seating and interior was also pretty basic. Would not come again, but not because its bad. Its just not that spectacular.

19/09/2026: Very good, friendly service, who gave a good recommendation when we asked for good Danish beer. Delicious steak with the right charcoal flavor. We had the steak with fries (super crispy and great taste). A very extensive salad bar with many fresh products and good quality. A lovely evening as a good start to our week in Copenhagen. And an added bonus with the rain: 2 parking garages nearby! Top notch!
