24/07/2025: 🌟 Midtown Hookah Café Review 🌟 Midtown is definitely one of the best hookah cafés in town! The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, the decor is stylish with a cool lounge vibe, and the music fits the atmosphere perfectly. The shisha is top notch – lots of flavors, good smoke, and fast service with coal changes. You can really feel that they care about quality. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and you always feel welcome. The prices are fair, and they also have drinks and snacks, so you can really relax with your friends. Midtown is the perfect place to hang out, and I will definitely be back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars from here!

03/03/2025: Very tasty food and friendly staff. We ate the pasta with chicken and cream sauce. Very large portion and super tasty too. For less than €30 you got 2x pasta and 2 cans of cola.👍🏻

15/09/2025: Peaceful haven for great wine, conversation and great music track playing in background. Went twice we were so impressed, great wine selection and Dennis was very informative about the wine, an artist too. His staff were excellent and attentive. Av price based on food and 2 bottles wine.

08/09/2025: Located just off the main Nyhavn strip. Small, intimate restaurant serving up great open sandwiches. Very reasonably priced considering what you get. Good, friendly service. Only downside was card only payment and no WiFi to post this review.

25/08/2025: Great restaurant, warm and friendly. We came here to try the famous Smorrebrod: great value for money, generous portions, and delicious! Fast service and a responsive and friendly team. Slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Nyhavn, I definitely recommend this place!

28/09/2025: Came here with my brother as he'd heard great reviews about the ramen. Unfortunately we were left pretty disappointed and underwhelmed with the food. We may be a tougher crowd to please than the lines of predominantly tourists who were lined up waiting for seats as I've lived in Asia for more than a decade and we've traveled and had many an excellent bowl of ramen over the years. Shoyu ramen: Whilst the broth was quite good boasting a deep, rich flavour, the thin noodles arrived already a bit overdone meaning they got increasingly soft whilst finishing the bowl. The chasu was lacking in depth of flavor, was dry and not charred to bring out the characteristic taste of a chasu. The mushroom paste was a nice touch but didn't make up for the letdown on the noodles and chasu. Nduja Miso ramen: Ordered this specifically due to the base broth being advertised as a Tori Paitan, which traditionally boasts rich, creamy and deep flavors. Unfortunately these nuances were either completely overpowered by the Nduja miso tare or as I suspect perhaps not present in the broth from the outset. The lemon anchovy dressing drizzled on a couple of baby spinach leaves were a nice touch albeit may not be for everyone's palate. The plus of this bowl was the thicker noodles which were cooked well and still retained springyness and toothsome-ness. Whilst eating out in Copenhagen is expectedly pricey, at 175,- and 185,- per bowl, we'll definitely not be visiting Slurp again.

20/09/2025: Lovely open sandwiches, although the brisket could have been fresher. The other pieces tasted great on homemade bread, delivered by good waiters on a beautiful corner in Copenhagen. We will be back.

25/09/2025: The place is very cute and well-kept. The food and drinks are quality. The fresh flowers on the table are a very welcome touch, but be careful of the midges, especially during this time of year. Be careful to protect your drinks! Prices are average. The fries are particularly tasty; I recommend trying them! Great place for a quick aperitif or even a more formal coffee!

10/09/2025: We dropped the pizza, and the owner came out and literally gave us a new pizza without asking for payment I asked him multiple times if he was sure, I really wanted to pay him, he's such a good person 🙏 please come visit

04/06/2025: We visited the café twice and can highly recommend it, away from the hustle and bustle. The owner is very friendly and prepared the food and drinks himself. The speed was absolutely reasonable. The food is simple but very good. Both the hummus and salmon sandwiches were very reasonably priced and fresh. The Moroccan soup is highly recommended. The cake was also very tasty (be sure to try the caramel). Only the cortado was a bit too watery for my taste. I can't really confirm reviews that describe an unfriendly attitude towards children. Our child felt comfortable, and we were treated with understanding when he got a little loud. If we ever go to Copenhagen again, we will definitely visit the café again.

09/10/2025: I lived in Texas for 3 years, and my wife grew up there. This met our expectation of a Danish take on “authentic” Texas barbecue. All to say, it’s very poorly executed. The closest items to authenticity were the brisket tenderness and the side sauces. The brisket was cooked well, but lacked flavor. The pulled pork was so dry it might as well have been chicken. The sausage did not seem home made. It was missing the snap, and texture of a true Texas barbecue sausage. The sides were even worse. The mac and cheese can be described as macaroni soup with “cheese” dye. It’s super watery. It looked like they didn’t drain the pasta water and just poured powdered cheese into the bowl. It was flavorless. The coleslaw looked creamy, but was super vinegary and tasted stale. I’ve had better barbecue in Massachusetts. TLDR: Steal their sauce and leave everything else behind.

09/10/2025: Great bar and atmosphere, proper food no frills and easy! Not badly priced either
