22/04/2025: Everything tasted amazing and was so beautifully presented. We chose "Store Emil" with a wine menu, and it can be recommended. A nice way to taste different wines. It's great that it's not just "mainstream" wines you get. But everything fit together well. It is a cozy little gem in Aalborg. Emil really has control over his fish. Check it out!

12/06/2025: I just have to say that this is the last time I set foot in that store. I went in to pick up a roll. I was the only one in the store. You can hear when the door opens, but at least they couldn't that day. I don't know if it's the wife of this establishment or an employee, but she shouted and screamed at an employee, I opened the door again so the bell rang, but no reaction, I chose to knock on the counter, then I manage to get a hole through. I chose to control myself, and have chosen to share it with others. They actually make some good bread, but what I experienced makes me choose to buy my bread elsewhere.

11/05/2025: Det Lune(ste) Brød in Denmark is found in Hobro. Undoubtedly Denmark's best bakery. They have a huge range of everything from always fresh and tasty bread, pizzas and sausage horns and the finest cakes. The bread is crispy and tastes crunchy and delicious. The selection of cakes and the taste of them is so the angels sing. The rum balls get the most beautiful number 12. And that is without exaggeration. On top of that, you can even buy a freshly made mug of latte or coffee to take home. Det Lune Brød's service is fantastic, they always have a smile on their face and time for a little chat if you're up for it. Last but certainly not least - The prices are affordable, even if you, like me, have a low income. Try, for example, their 4-piece luxury cake selection for NOK 65. I promise you won't regret it. MUMS I'm just saying.

07/06/2025: Bad service. Waited 15 minutes to place an order. Then it took another 15 minutes for drinks to arrive. Before we got our nachos it took 40 minutes from ordering to being served. Way too slow service and lethargic employees. Really good beer and nice atmosphere, but don't go there if you expect fast and professional service.

26/10/2024: Best bakery far and wide. Service so loving! We were on holiday nearby and were given the world's best crispbread for the journey home!

17/05/2025: **Review of Fiskehuset Thisted – 5 stars (unfortunately)** Well, where do I start… As soon as I walked in, I could tell – there was *nothing* to complain about here. No noise, no chaos, no angry faces. What else would you want to do with your day? But no, there wasn’t even a menu with spelling mistakes, or a crooked chair I could sit and be annoyed about. The table didn’t tip. The napkins were in place. Nothing to take pictures of and share with the “Look what I had to deal with!” text. Unbelievable. And I really tried. I sat there and looked for a hair in the food. Nothing. No forgotten order, no long wait. Even the toilet – dry floor, paper in the holder, and yes, the soap worked. That’s completely out of proportion. I left with nothing to write an angry email about. No opportunity to vent my righteous indignation in a long post. I felt cheated. 5 stars. Not because I want to. But because I *can't* find anything that justifies less. And that's almost worse than a bad experience. Because where's the drama? Where's my content for Facebook? So yeah. Congratulations Fiskehuset Thisted. You've made it impossible to be mad. It should almost be a crime.

17/04/2025: Very good quality, albeit on the slightly expensive end for a cafe in the area. But a nice menu that is also child-friendly and burgers and quantities are large and with great taste. Fine selection of local goods from cheese to locally milled flour and with a nice selection of good wine and locally brewed beers! Can be highly recommended.
