01/12/2024: Sikke skøn mad, skønne vine og fantastisk betjening. Kreativiteten i køkkenet er stor og spændende retter vi prøvede. Helt sikkert værd at spise på Abstrakt. Skønt indrettet lokale og dejlig stemning.

20/10/2024: Among the natural experiences by the North Sea, with the beautiful hills of Hirtshals as a background, we had the pleasure of visiting Restaurant Abstrakt. Here, a young team delivers food at the highest level, with a focus on local ingredients and of course fish. Especially their fish dishes, combined with perfectly matched sauces, created an explosion of taste. #Well done The carefully selected wine matched to the dishes made the evening even more exciting. The service was top class, and the cozy surroundings, combined with the aroma from the kitchen, created a lovely harmony. Make sure you find time to visit the place - you won't regret it!

23/01/2025: I stopped by for a quick dinner and was not disappointed. The employees there are very helpful and chatty. I ordered a margarita pizza and it was delish. It took under 10 min to make the pizza.

09/12/2024: Hans Dahl valgte at fejre 70 års fødselsdag på Rold StorKro fredag den 6 december 2024. Han inviterede 29 af de nærmeste familier og venner - flere havde aldrig været på Rold StorKro. Her et par dage senere har han hørt fra festdeltagerne og ALLE var i den grad benovet. Hyggelig og flot hotel, julepyntet efter alle kunstens regler, maden var helt og aldeles udsøgt, velsmagende og MEGET forskelligt at vælge imellem. Fri bar under og efter middagen var yderst populær og ja, servicen var outstanding. Alle har nævnt dette og har kun oplevet en sublim oplevelse med service langt ud over det sædvanlige - personlig og nærværende. På jysk kan man vel roligt sige at ALLE på hotellet stod på pinde for alle Hans' gæster - tak for at bidrage til at festen blev til det Hans havde ønsket sig og at den formentligt vil blive talt om i meget lang tid;-) Hans er i den grad meget tilfreds med at have valgt Rold StorKro til denne fest;-) Håber meget at alle på job denne aften vil blive rost for deres kæmpe indsats - herfra en stor TAK for alles indsats;-) Bedste hilsner og ønsker til alle om en rigtig god jul

11/01/2025: Jag var färdig med museet och tänkte ta en öl i väntan på familjen skulle bli klara. Fick vet av en i personalen att restaurangen var på väg att stänga men fick ändå köpa en öl (i plastglas) och ta med ut på terrassen vilket var vänligt och tillmötesgående av dem.

17/01/2025: First visit to you, you were busy laying the floor in the cafe itself., was offered space in the greenhouse next to the water. Nicely heated and possibly a blanket. Beautiful space. Ordered a lunch plate, wonderful food and bread, just needed an ordinary butter knife to spread the bread with. It is impossible to spread bread with a very sharp and serrated grill knife, so a spreader knife to spread bread with would work wonders, it was noted, but none came out to us. We asked for coffee with cheese and cake. There was also a thermos with coffee. So nice. However, where everything was really good and fine, the coffee was a big disappointment, lukewarm and not freshly made at all, "half-lazy" coffee and gray and, as written, closed. DKK 64 for what corresponds to 3-4 SMALL cups of coffee that does not correspond to the rest at all, a big disappointment. But that shouldn't stop me from visiting Café Salt often. I am sure the above will be corrected. Thank you for a lovely lunch

24/12/2024: There were three of us. Prawn cocktail for starters. It was decent, but the prawns tasted too much of brine. For the main course we all had halibut garnished with some prawns and a crayfish and mussels. Little taste, but otherwise okay.

22/08/2024: Service good both BUT our food served on the wrong table next to 2 Swedish men - only after a while did they get in touch with the waitress, after which she fetched plates and AGAIN Served the same dish at our table - was out on business and couldn't bear a scene BUT - IT'S SO NOT OKAY! Cold dry-roasted beef tenderloin that was ordered rose-roasted, served with dried hard-roasted potatoes - a knowledgeable young tjrner girl who provided good insight about the wines BUT all in all a "We didn't get there more experience!"

09/02/2025: Normally we have not had problems with Bones in Frederikshavn, but this day we were there was different. However, we were met by a waiter immediately and given a table and notes to be filled in with our order. Then nothing more happened, a quarter of an hour passed and no one came and collected the order notes, nor asked what we wanted to drink. It must be said that it was not busy at that time. I went up with the notes myself and asked why they had forgotten us and got a sour look instead. When the food finally arrived we still hadn't had our drinks. I had to go up myself and ask for more fries as no waiters came down to us as they usually do. When they ran a campaign in the restaurant called BBQ battle, the burger was smaller and the meat was dry. We ate the food anyway and mentioned it when we paid but the waiter got angry and didn't say anything.

11/10/2024: A hotel without any flexibility. Check-in, check-out, even the places for breakfast were fixed. We missed a small fridge in the room or hallway. The hotel is ideally located in Thisted.

13/02/2025: On a trip to beautiful Skagen, we passed this Spisehus for refreshment. It is beautifully situated at the harbor and therefore has a great location. Inside it is kept simple and functional. Just the thing if you just want to rest, sit and eat for a moment. Sorry for the cliché, but I ate the very tasty schnitzel with bearnaise sauce. :) It hardly needs to be mentioned, but the service (in the whole of Denmark) is simply super nice, family-friendly and simply pleasant. We felt very comfortable and will come back if we find ourselves at the northernmost tip of Denmark again. Thank you!
